I turned to Maria, who still stood bound and defiant, though her eyes now held a glimmer of fear. "Maria," I said, my voice firm but not unkind. "You will be imprisoned for your crimes, your fate decided by the council of Alphas. You will not be allowed to sow discord among our people ever again."

Maria’s shoulders sagged in defeat, the last vestiges of her defiance crumbling as she realized the finality of her situation. She had lost everything, her power, her influence, her future.

As Maria was led away, Alpha Jo stepped beside me. "You've united us in a way none of us could have imagined," he said quietly. "And now, we follow you."

I looked at him, seeing the sincerity in his eyes, and nodded. "This victory is just the beginning," I replied. "We have much work to do to rebuild, to ensure that our lands remain safe and prosperous. But we will do it together, as one."

The Alphas, now united under a single banner, dispersed to their respective territories, carrying with them the knowl

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   1. WHO ARE YOU?

As I walked through the town of Nashville with Zaza and my guards, I could smell the fresh air and the natural nature of the town. I was very happy to be home. From my hotel to the conference hall was a walking distance and I loved it. I was glad to be in my town once more. A lot has not changed, both the people and the town. The people did not know me anymore and that pleased me.I could smell and feel a lot of them throwing gazes at me. Most of them had not seen a lady, dressed so richly and guarded by hefty-looking handsome men. Yes, I chose my guards very carefully as I wanted them to look intimidating and handsome. The conference door opened, and I was ushered in alone. I sat close to the exit door as I did not want to disturb the meeting. It was a meeting of the Alphas in the district. Alpha Jo had called for a meeting aimed at defeating our common enemy, the bandits. After his opening speech, I watched as he set his gaze on me. I was not sure that he recognized me. But as he wa

The other Alphas were waiting for us. They could not hear us, but they could see that I was not afraid of their intimidation. I was not ready to reveal that I was Alpha Ayar. They must respect me as an Omega. My ex-husband, who rejected me at my wedding, was still looking at me in shock. He could not believe that I had challenged him. The only female that had ever done so was Maria, his sister.“Could you please follow me? I want to introduce you to the other Alphas,” Alpha Jo said.I stood up, raised my gown a little, and followed Alpha Jo. It looked like the longest walk I ever took. The distance was short, but my steps were heavy. All eighteen eyes were on me. I tried to keep my composure. I managed to stand in front of them and by the side of Alpha Jo.Alpha Jo took a glance at me before introducing me. “Fellow Alphas,” he said, as he took another look at me, then continued. “We have in our midst an emissary from Alpha Ayar. He decided to send us this lady. I am sorry I did not ge

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   3. ECHOES OF THE PAST

HOW IT ALL STARTED FIVE YEARS AGO Five years ago, the scent of oppression lingered in the air, and the howls of omega werewolves echoed with a haunting sadness. Among them, I, Ava, navigated a world defined by the harsh hierarchies that categorized us. I was determined that we would be free from the oppression of other werewolves. My parents never saw that and wanted all omega werewolves to be submissive. As an Omega werewolf living on the outskirts of Nashville Town, I had grown accustomed to the whispers of disdain and the condescending glares from those who deemed themselves superior. The Downtown, where my kind resided, was a realm of perpetual shadows, shrouded in the lingering echoes of prejudice. “Who is that?” I asked, moving towards the door. “ You know who he is, Ava, please give him what we owe,” my father said. My father is the leader of our clan and I consider him too weak to lead anything. At the age of nineteen, one would have thought I was too young, but what we a

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   4: DECEIT AND LOVE

The aftermath of our encounter with the bandits left a lingering unease in the air, casting a shadow over the once serene woods. As Alpha Jo and I made our way back to Nashville Town, I couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding that clung to me like a second skin. I knew Downtown was in imminent danger and the likelihood that my father would do nothing is almost certain. I had to find a way to warn the Omega clan that we needed to wake up. I have seen these bandits fight and they fear no one. The streets of Downtown buzzed with activity, oblivious to the dangers that lurked in the shadows. But beneath the façade of normalcy, I sensed a palpable tension, a silent acknowledgment of the lurking threat that had pierced our tranquil existence. How did the news spread this fast? I had just left the woods. “You need to stop playing around with Alpha Jo, I don't like where this is headed to,” my father said as I approached our fence. “He is my soulmate and my Alpha and you think I am playin

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   5: YOU HAVE MY HEART

“Marry you?” was what came out of his mouth, as if he was not expecting the last phrase of words I uttered. “Ava come on, is this not too sudden? Let's think about it.” The tension hung heavy in the air as Alpha Jo and I stood face to face, the moon casting its pale light upon our conflicting emotions. In the quiet solitude of our shared space, the weight of unspoken words pressed upon us, threatening to fracture the fragile bond that bound us together. "I don't understand, Jo," I began, my voice tinged with frustration and longing. "You say we are soulmates, that our hearts beat as one, and yet you hesitate to take the next step." “I am sorry Ava, can this wait for some time?” he asked. “No! My dear, not this time,” I replied. “Ava, my love, what do you want me to say?” He asked. “Jo dear, I thought we had a connection. I thought the moon goddess only confirmed what we thought of ourselves. I know we are in love. You are Alpha, no one is stopping you,” I said. Alpha Jo's brow f

“Jo, I think something is wrong with Maria's immediate acceptance. You have to agree with me that it was unlike her,” I said sitting down beside him in my father's quarters.Alpha Jo was not moved by the statement. It was like he was expecting me to say something like that. “Were you expecting something different?” He asked.I turned towards him, I did not know how I was feeling towards the whole situation. “Yes, like a ‘no’ before her ‘yes’ or just silence without any answer,” I said. I knew Maria did not like anyone from my clan, except maybe for my father, whom she uses at will to fulfill her will.“Well, I am glad that she exceeded your expectations. You think too lowly of her, she is a lovely person,” Alpha Jo said.I smiled. Maybe it was true, and he was correct or maybe she was changing. I could still not bring myself to believe that. Maria is the superior law in Nashville. A very cunning and vile person, how come she changed? And to crown it all when an Omega wants to marry he

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   7: DREAM COME TRUE

The rustling leaves whispered secrets as Alpha Jo and Maria approached me, their figures silhouetted against the moonlit night. I was disturbed at the sight of them at first. Maria would not give me any chance to explain myself to Alpha Jo. She had such an intimidating presence, and she knew how to use it.I was surprised yet grateful as I watched Maria's eyes reflect a glimmer of remorse, her presence an unexpected balm to soothe the wounds of the past. I did not know what to make of it as Maria and Alpha Jo stood in front of me."Ava," Maria's voice trembled with sincerity, "I come to you with a heavy heart, seeking forgiveness for the pain I've caused." I don’t think she caused me any pain, I just felt she was scheming, and I still feel that though I was glad that she had pleaded for forgiveness. Her words hung in the air like a delicate melody, resonating deep within me, thawing the frost of resentment that had settled between us. With a soft smile, I nodded, welcoming her into a

When the final letter was written, sealed, and set aside, I leaned back in my chair, feeling the weight of the night pressing down on me. The letters would be sent out at dawn, carried by trusted messengers who would deliver them swiftly across the lands. The responses would come in due time, but I had no doubt that there would be resistance. There always was when power shifted so dramatically. But this time, there was no room for doubt or hesitation. Our survival depended on our unity, and any who stood against us would be dealt with swiftly and decisively. As I extinguished the candle and rose from my desk, I felt a sense of calm settle over me. The decisions had been made, the words had been written, and the course had been set. Now, all that remained was to wait and see who would stand with us, and who would fall.I walked to the window, looking out at the night sky, the stars twinkling like distant beacons of hope. In that moment, I felt the weight of all that had transpired, all

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   117: ALPHA OF ALPHAS

The grand hall of the palace was filled with an air of anticipation. I stood at the head of the room, my face hidden behind a mask crafted to conceal the remnants of the beast that had once overtaken me. Though I had regained control, the scars, both physical and emotional, remained. Before me stood the council, the elders, and the leaders from the Hinderlands, Riverlands, and Borderlands. Each of them had been summoned here to witness a new chapter in our shared history, to hear the decisions that would shape the future of our lands. There was a noticeable tension in the air, the weight of the moment pressing down on everyone present. The flickering torchlight cast long shadows across the room, adding to the somber atmosphere. As I looked out at the gathered assembly, I felt a mix of emotions, pride, determination, and a deep sense of responsibility. The journey had been long and fraught with challenges, but it had brought us to this point, where we could finally unite as one. I to

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   116:  CONSOLIDATION

In the depths of the forest, I crouched low, my senses heightened and my body still buzzing with the raw energy that had surged through me during the battle. The moonlight filtered through the dense canopy, as I tried to regain control over the beast within me. My breathing was heavy, and my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions.Karim and Shocy approached cautiously, their footsteps barely making a sound on the forest floor. They had been searching for me, and though I knew they meant well, the beast inside me still surged with a fierce, untamed power. When they finally found me, their eyes filled with concern and relief."Thank the gods we found you," Karim said, his voice steady but laced with worry. He stopped a few paces away, respecting the distance I needed. "You need to come back with us. You can't stay out here."I turned to face them, my eyes glowing with a fierce intensity that made even the most seasoned warriors uneasy. The beast inside me was still close to the s

As Karim and his men escorted the freed captives away, I watched from a distance, feeling the weight of my actions and appearance. I knew that my transformation and the intensity of the battle had left a mark on me, both physically and emotionally. The woods seemed to offer a sanctuary from the chaos, and I made my way deeper into the forest, seeking solace in the quiet of the natural world. The sounds of the forest were a welcome contrast to the chaos of the battlefield, providing a moment of calm amidst the turmoil. I took deep breaths, trying to steady my mind and regain a sense of balance. In the distance, I could hear the muffled sounds of Karim and his men leading the captives to safety. The knowledge that they were being cared for and protected was a small comfort, even as I wrestled with the lingering effects of the battle and the toll it had taken on me.As the shadows of the forest closed in around me, I found a moment of peace in the solitude, though the weight of what lay

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   114: NOT TODAY

Maria’s voice cut through the air, sharp and commanding, as she prepared to deliver the final blow. The crowd quieted, their anticipation palpable as they awaited our deaths. She was relishing this moment, savoring the victory she believed she had secured.I closed my eyes, drawing on the power I had been holding back, feeling it surge through me like a tidal wave. This was the moment. This was when I would show them all what it meant to cross me.“I’m sorry, Jo,” I whispered, my voice barely audible above the crowd. “I’m sorry for everything we lost, for the chances we never took. But I won’t let this be the end. Not for us. Not today.”He squeezed my hand, his grip strong despite the bonds. “Then let’s do this. Together.”With a final breath, I opened my eyes, my vision sharpening as the power within me surged to the surface. The time had come to turn the tide, to take back what was ours. And as the executioner raised his weapon, I unleashed everything, shattering the bonds that hel

  • I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA   113: SECOND CHANCE

The dim light of the cell flickered as I sat in the corner, my body battered and weak from the days of torment. Every breath was a struggle, each movement a reminder of the pain that coursed through me. But as I closed my eyes, I forced myself to push beyond the physical agony, to reach deeper into the well of power that lay dormant within me.My mind drifted to Zaza's words, the fierce determination in her voice as she urged me to find my strength, to believe in my abilities. Her faith in me had never wavered, even as Maria sought to break us both. And now, as the cold stone walls of the cell pressed in around me, I knew that I had to tap into that strength, to harness every ounce of power I possessed. With a slow, deliberate breath, I began to focus inward, drawing my consciousness away from the pain and fear that threatened to consume me. I reached for the gifts that had been passed down through my bloodline, the abilities that had always been there, waiting for me to master them.

The cell was dimly lit, the flickering torches casting shadows that danced on the cold stone walls. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and despair, a fitting atmosphere for the fate that awaited me. My body was weak, my spirit battered, but as the heavy iron door creaked open and Zaza stepped inside, a spark of hope flickered within me.She moved quietly, her eyes scanning the room before settling on me. Despite the dire circumstances, Zaza carried an aura of calm and determination that I had always admired. Her presence was a balm to my weary soul, and for a moment, I could almost forget the weight of the chains that bound me.She knelt beside me, her hands gentle as they touched my arm. “Ava,” she whispered, her voice a soft but urgent plea. “You must find strength, now more than ever. Your gifts… they’re still within you, even if you can’t feel them right now.”I looked at her, the exhaustion in my body making it difficult to muster a response. “I’m not sure I have anyt
