Sadly, the hospital called to tell me that Anthony wasn't dead and was just in shock.

"Ms. Anderson, do you have the time to come over and sign a few medical bills?"

"No, I don't. Have Anthony sign them himself. I'm not his only family." There was no way I would sign the papers for him when he claimed that Yunice was the love of his life.

After hanging up, I glanced at Brian across from me. Ever since the meeting, he had been helping me sort through some company matters. I was incredibly grateful for everything he had done for the past few days.
