Zev’s pov

“You’re going to lose!” I yelled as I started beating up his avatar, pushing buttons as fast as I could.

Raiden smirked, “you’re never this competitive. Did something happen? Did I get under your skin? I can’t always step it up, you know. Maybe next mealtime, I will flirt a bit harder. Or maybe, -“

I sighed, making Raiden stop midsentence. “Just stop it. It won’t work.”

“You’re lying… You like our little mouse.”

“If your aim is to get me to fall for her, why do you continue to call her ours?” I teased my friend back.

He shrugged, “because she is. Until she’s not... when you claim her as yours."

Goddess. Was he always this annoying?

Yeah. He was, but it wasn’t usually directed at me. Raiden had always wanted me to meet girls, but he never worked this hard to make it happen. He had said a few things or tried to set me up on a double date, but most of the time it was just jokes and nothing more.

But this? This felt different.

I hadn’t even seen Raiden hang around a girl he had

Atalanta’s pov Raiden’s questions were making me nervous, and I didn’t even realize I was tapping my food. Lying didn’t come naturally to me. Being close to people didn’t feel normal to me. Having a normal conversation was already very strange since I was usually ignored. But I had done my best to remember my bio by heart. Did the hunter back home think I wouldn’t stand out? That I’d never have to answer even one of these questions? Did they see me as a mouse as well? Someone who’s small and can go wherever she wants without being noticed? Because, for some reason, these two men do notice me. They notice me far too well. Stay calm, Lana. I thought, trying to test the new nickname out. Raiden’s hand grabbed my upper leg, keeping it still. But it didn’t stay there. His large hands moved up and down, trying to calm me. But instead, it was doing something else. Did he notice how dangerously close his fingers came to my core each time his hand went up? Zev sat on my other side

Zev's povI was paying attention to class when Raiden moved Atalanta’s hair out of the way. She had a strappy dress on that was a few sizes too big. It reached just below her knees, but because of its size, it dipped down when she sat down, revealing a lot of her back.Although most of her hair was covering the skin, until Raiden moved it.He leaned forward, his chin resting on his right hand, while the left traced circles on her back. There were small scars on her back, different from the ones that happened during what she claimed was a cooking accident. Not touching the scars, Raiden circled around them. Atalanta began breathing heavy and slow, sounding like she would fall asleep any second.I wish I was the one touching her.No. No, I don’t.Focus on the class, Zev! I scolded myself.Yet when Atalanta didn’t know the answer, it was me who helped her. Not Raiden. The next class was without Atalanta, and it felt good to be able to pay attention without either Raiden or Atalanta distr

  • Hunting for our Mate   10. Date

Raiden’s pov “Are you up for a date tonight? Or we could head straight to your room.” Lisa said seductively. While I normally like a woman who knows what she wants, some parts of me wanted to say no. The appeal just wasn’t there. But I had to prove to myself and to Zev that this wasn’t about that big, blue-eyed little mouse. That little timid woman who smells like lavender and something fruity. Mom always picks lavender, puts it in the palm of her hand, and rubs her hands together. I used to do it too; my hands would smell like lavender, and I love the scent. It’s like a reminder of my childhood. The packhouse garden is filled with lavender plants, and when the wind blows in the right direction, the whole air smells like it. Atalanta smelled like that, but there was a hint of something else that I couldn’t put my finger on. Something citrusy. It didn’t matter anyway. “Yeah, why not?” I replied, earning a smile from Lisa. She was one of the new students, and she had be

  • Hunting for our Mate   11. The Call

Zev's povI love Grace and Ethan, but they can be a bit overbearing sometimes. And she is just as intuitive as Raiden, always knowing when I’m not feeling well. But I actually didn’t mind calling her this time. I had enough ammunition to get her to focus on her son, if I needed to.Raiden called his mom to videocall, and she immediately picked up. “First of all, it’s really good to see you guys. Secondly, why don’t you text back?”“We’re kind of busy, mom... It's not like we're just sitting around doing nothing.” Raiden replied. I didn’t realize we both weren’t texting her back as frequently as we normally do.“Busy sleeping with every girl there?” Grace replied, raising her eyebrow at me.“Well, actually.” I teased Raiden. “He just cancelled a date to call you.”“Then there really must be something wrong.” Grace said, giving me a knowing wink.He rolled my eyes at me, “and Zev is seeing someone.”“I’m not!” Maybe I protested a bit too much, because Grace giggled at the two of us.“Who

Atalanta’s pov“What are you doing?” Suzie asked, making me flinch. I put my head down, ready to be scolded.“Lana… why are you cleaning our room?”I slowly looked up to find her staring at me with an expression that looked a lot like concern. However, I had no clue how to respond. Why wouldn’t I clean the room?Suzie came closer, “the first time it happened, I just figured you were being nice. But I can clean my own stuff, Atalanta. It’s not your job to tidy my side or clean the room from top to bottom every day.”“It isn’t?” I asked surprised. It has always been my job to clean up everyone’s mess.“No. I am responsible for the mess I made. And in this case, it might have looked like a mess to you, but there was a system to the madness.” Suzie explained. Her whole desk had been covered in random papers; there was not an inch left of it. So I had placed them all on a pile before cleaning her desk. The concept of everyone being responsible for their own mess was foreign to me. From a yo

  • Hunting for our Mate   13. Pretend

Raiden’s povShit. I stormed off in anger, leaving my best friend, little mouse, and Suzie behind. It probably looked like some temper tantrum to them, and I didn’t care right now.Yesterday night messed with my head. I had been so desperate to prove to Zev that he was wrong, that I had sex when I wasn’t even in the mood. This was the first time in my life that I had made myself have sex. I felt dirty and weird. After Lisa entered my room, we began kissing each other, but I just wasn’t feeling it. It wasn’t like she sucked at kissing; it simply lacked passion. Mostly on my part.It had never bothered me before, but suddenly it didn’t feel enough. I barely knew Lisa, and I had fucked girls whose personalities I didn’t really like before. But yesterday, I needed more than just lust.I tried to compensate by focusing on her pleasure. Sex doesn’t feel right unless I make a woman cum first. It’s not just that I feel like it’s the right thing to do; it’s usually a big turn-on as well. It ma

  • Hunting for our Mate   14. No Good

Atalanta’s pov No good. I am no good. I ran while trying to keep the tears in. I couldn’t let Raiden know how much he had hurt me. He wouldn’t care anyway; it would probably only bring him joy to see the weak little mouse cry because of him. It’s what my parents always told me. No good. Only good to clean up after them. I am a mistake. Never should have been born. Unwanted and not good enough. Never good enough. And it wasn’t just because I am not a boy. I don’t have any talent. I’m not strong. I complain too much, and I’m in the way. I’m too short, and I am weak, dumb, and a waste of space. For a little while, I thought maybe people here would think differently. For a second, I thought that maybe my parents were wrong. But they aren’t. I’m no good. I am pretty sure I’m actually the opposite of good, considering the thoughts I’ve been having. Becoming friends with werewolves? Having dirty thoughts about werewolves? Caring about them? They are monsters, even if t

Zev’s povSuzie grabbed Atalanta’s back before class; we couldn’t see her, but she was never late to class. So she figured we’d meet Atalanta there. When class started and Atalanta wasn’t there yet, I felt some worry, and I could see Suzie looking around as well. The three of us had all begun to care for Atalanta in our own way. It wasn’t hard to do. While I hated the term little mouse, I understood why Raiden used it. Atalanta always seemed on edge, and she was so vulnerable. That quality was dangerous, especially here, surrounded by alpha males and cunning shewolves who wanted nothing more than to be a Luna. The teacher had randomly paired people, although the more I looked around, the more it became clear that he had picked new students and combined them with students that had been here for at least six months.Dylan was paired with Atalanta, but she wasn’t there yet. Mr. Bianco offered to pair up with Dylan, but she rushed in.The teacher had already explained some of what we were

Raiden’s pov‘Maybe we should just wait for the next one?’ I asked Zev back when we watched our mate go through hell to deliver our babies. It had been a brutal pregnancy. Not just one, but two giant babies in a tiny but beautiful body. It takes a lot out of a person.Remember when I complained about having too much sex? Well, our sweet little mouse was on bed rest for almost half her pregnancy, so there wasn’t much sex at all…What we did have was love.Fuck, I love our mate.Zev and I treated her like our queen, making sure she didn’t need to lift a finger. While she tried to shield us from her pain, we didn’t let her, taking as much from her as we could. One of us was always with her. Zev and our mate read books together, while we watched movies and talked about everything and anything. Suzie came by a lot, and so did the rest, to keep her distracted from not being able to do much. You know our little mouse has a hard time not doing anything, so being in bed for several months was h

Zev’s pov“Do you want to do the honors?” Lana asked me.“Shouldn’t you or Raiden tell everyone?” I replied as I played with my mate's hair.Raiden smiled at me, “well, you did all the hard work, so you deserve it more.”I laughed, “hard work? Weren't you the one who started complaining one month in because you were getting tired of having sex multiple times a day?”“While it was hard work, it was also very satisfying…." Raiden said, staring at our mate with lust in his eyes. "But you were doing the real hard work, watching me come inside our mate for months while you couldn’t.” Raiden replied with a wink. “But now we can go back to our regular positions!”“I think that might make him even happier than me being pregnant,” Lana giggled.“Almost, little wolf of mine, almost.” Raiden bended over to kiss Lana. He stood back up straight and looked at me, “Hey, man. I was thinking. We should let all the kids have the same last name.”“All the kids? How many do you think we’ll have?” I laughe

  • Hunting for our Mate   I know....

Okay, I know, I was supposed to write the final chapters, but then I suddenly thought about the twin brothers. and I started coming up with another idea and I had to write two more chapters....So. Now you can choose lol.Either Kiana or Kai.This story would be called Hunting my rogue or something along those lines. It starts a bit sad and is about second chance mates.chapter 1:Liraz’s pov“You need to run, Lee.”“No, Mom… You’re strong. You can do this! Just fight it.” I tried. I didn’t want to go. She had held it back for so long.Mom shook her head as tears ran down her face. Her hands had begun to turn into claws, and fur began to appear on her skin. “No, sweetie. It’s time. Go, please.”“But, -““Liraz!” Mom growled. “You listen to your mother for one damn time!”I bared my neck in submission, feeling the power of her growl. “I’m sorry, Mom, I’m just…”“Don’t apologize, Lee. Just run!” Mom said. I could hear the pain in her voice as she was trying to hold her wolf back."Maybe,

  • Hunting for our Mate   And chapter 2

Once again, don't read this if you don't want any possible spoilers. This one is a bit shorter, I am probably going to add some more to it once I really start writing. But for now it's enough to paint a picture of Torin I think. And pleae let me know what you think.......chapter 2 : BetterTorin’s pov‘You need to be more careful,’ Troy, my wolf, said the third time the vermin fell off his back.I could have let him handle the run. He would have been more gentle with the girl. But she needed to learn her place. To her, my hatred probably came out of nowhere. But I had learned to hate her family from the moment I had been born. For appearances sake, I had to show respect to the alpha heirs. I could even tolerate the brother. Ruan seemed to know his place and opted to attend gamma training instead of alpha training. But the vermin especially got on my nerves.Ardale used to mean something. It was a school exclusively for future alphas and betas. Then they let future gammas join a

  • Hunting for our Mate   New story idea. Spin off.

So, I was thinking if I should write a spinoff about one of the trio's kids. But to do that, I needed to come up with their names, how many kids they have, and a bunch of other stuff.I can't write an ending and then change some of the story for the sequel. So I decided to write two chapters, just to see if it could work. This isn't set in stone, and it kind of depends on your comments if this becomes canon. If it does, I'll use what I've written in these chapters as a basis for the end.So if you would rather not read any potential spoilers, you can skip these chapters. The story would be called "Hunting My Bully" Or something along those lines.Chapter 1: Vermin.Kiana’s pov“There she is….I told you you don't belong here.” Torin growled. His eyes locked with mine and in them was pure hatred. “Vermin, you can run, but I’ll find you…”Honestly, I thought my time at Ardale would be different. My siblings all went here and had a great time. As a matter of fact, two of my brothers still

Raiden’s pov“So how long do you think it will take?” I asked after fucking my mate for the fourth time today. “Not that I’m complaining, but I’m not sure we can keep this up.”Atalanta giggled, “are you tired, Raiden?”“No!” I scoffed.“He is,” Zev said.“No, you are!” I shouted at my friend, who just came out of the shower.“I’m ready to go again and again.”Zev and Atalanta both laughed, “it’s fine to admit you’re tired.”“I’m not fucking tired!” I argued. “I just need, like, a tiny break. Just like a day or so? No, not even a day. Like an afternoon? Or an hour?”Atalanta kissed me, “I actually read it’s better not to do it too much because of something to do with sperm count? Once a day should be enough, but I was enjoying all the attention.”“Greedy little mate, aren’t you?” I replied, kissing her with passion as I slipped my tongue in.“Hey, you asked for a break!” Zev scoffed.“See! You’re worn out too,” I said, as I broke away from my beautiful mate.Zev shrugged, “fine. I am.

    Zev’s pov“I’ve missed you!” Suzie said, as she gave Lana a big hug.“And what about me?” Raiden scoffed.“Yeah, not so much.” Suzie replied with a sly smile. “I actually like running this pack without you. It’s much easier.”“Shut up.” Raiden chuckled.“And Zev?” Lana asked as she let go of Suzie. Raiden immediately snatched our mate under his, tucket into his armpit. Greedy guy.‘Well, you did get her to yourself for two whole days…’ Rishi pointed out.“I missed Zev a bit.” Suzie admitted with a wink. “Mostly to help out with Ven. He was really busy all the time. I didn’t realize how much work you two do.”“Really?!” I jokingly scoffed. “We do most of the work!”“Uhm… I’m the damn Alpha. I do most of the work.” Raiden said, making himself even bigger than usual. If he were a gorilla, this would be the moment he’d slap his chest. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if he still might do it.“Yeah, whatever you think, big guy.” Suzie said, as she rolled her eyes. “But tell me everything;

Raiden’s pov“Can we talk?” Zev asked me, as he stepped into my office.Suzie and our little wolf were out shopping. One of Atalanta’s brothers had a birthday coming up, and my mate was worried her gift wouldn’t be good enough. No matter how much Zev and I tried to reassure her, she was still worried.I didn’t really get it, but, well, I wasn’t raised by psychos.Things were well. Atalanta had asked me and Zev yesterday if we thought her dad would like it if she started calling him Dad instead of Tharon. We both said yes; that man obviously loved her. He's probably going to cry when she does call him dad.And so did the rest of the family.I must admit, Tharon’s mate Mara wasn’t exactly thrilled at first. It was just a shock to her to realize her mate had fathered a child with someone else. But like anyone, once she got to know Atalanta, she loved her.Her brothers were funny, though. Especially the oldest seemed very protective of Atalanta. And her little sisters love Atalanta and fol

  • Hunting for our Mate   136. Alone Time

Zev’s pov“So, how did it go this time?” I asked Lana. She smiled at me, a real smile with her eyes squinting and her cheeks so adorably round. “Good. Really good.”She has gone to see her father a few times now, and he has introduced her to the rest as well. Every time, either Raiden and I both went with her or one of us did. This time it was Raiden’s turn, while I kept an eye on the pack with Suzie and Stephen.Things were good. Not just between Lana and her father, but inside the pack as well. Even outside of the pack.We had formed a plan with our allies. We were done hiding from the hunters. We weren’t actively going to hunt them, but we were done playing defense. So the moment a hunter was spotted in one of our areas, we made it our mission to find the hunters and take them out. Soon the hunters started realizing their chances of actually beating us in a fair fight weren’t that high.Taking us out one by one was easy, but taking out an entire pack? None so easy at all. With Lana’
