Several thousands of kilometres away, a man and a woman were walking slowly across a flatland. The weather in these lands was inconsistent yet consistent. In the day it was as warm as a lava bed; but at night it was as cold as the frozen lakes of the winter. Yet neither the man nor the woman seemed perturbed by this.
