The first thing Alucard did when he was overwhelmed with Bloodlust was to shoot a large fireball at Mane. However, flames of such caliber had no effect on Mane. His flames were much stronger, and his blood easily absorbed the fire energy, using it to refuel what had been lost. Mane absorbed the fire as quickly as it appeared, and that was why Alucard transitioned to using his aura blades. Although his mind had been overrun by animal-like instincts, he knew when to call an ineffective strategy quits. But Alucard didn't expect that Mane would be able to absorb the power of his aura blades and even worse, return that disastrous power to him. A bright blue sword liight that was as thick as the arm of an infant speedily approached Alucard, seeking his life. This wasn't the blue of water - ocean blue - but the brilliant blue of lightning. A disastrous power flooded the battlefield as the sword light flew towards Alucard. The sword light was brilliantly swift, and Alucard was given no time
"Ugh" Alucard grabbed his throbbing head and slowly opened his eyes. His head felt heavy, ans there was an ever present pain on one side of this neck. "Was I hit by a ton of bricks or what?" Alucard frowned as he struggled to recall what had led to his current situation. He was an Anscender and his mind was as robust as his body. For his body to be hurting was one thing, but for mind to be so shaken that he couldn't recall what had led to his current predicament was startling. His eyes soon regained their focus, and his current environment became clear to him. The first thing he realised was that he was in a huge room. The room was a large one, but it had very little furnishings. With the exception of the large bed upon which he lay, the only other furniture here were a chair and a table. However, with his sharp vision Alucard could easily tell that the materials used in crafting both the chair and the table were at the top of the list of resources."At least I remember that we were
The B Class city of Gowen was a bustling place. The city wasn't as large as major cities like Asher City, but it was filled with life and beauty; splendour and simplicity. The buildings were state of the art, and the people were as jolly as an old clown. As Mane walked through the streets of Gowen, he slowly grew intoxicated by the atmosphere of excitement clouding the hearts of the people. Following after the young Supreme was Tucker. The successor of the god of destruction tried to keep his expression as neutral as possible; but the budding god of destruction could hardly keep a straight face. However, he wasn't the young Supreme's only escort. The young Supreme's ever present fairy was here as well. However, unlike her usual tradition of sticking to Mane and using him as her personal ride, Hildegarde was flying around with great enthusiasm. She kept flying from store to store to check out their wares. Whenever she saw something she found interesting she would leave the side of the y
Mane placed the eye-catching dark blades onto the counter with a small bang. The metals used to forge Night's Kiss and Nightmare were no trivial minerals. They were forged from high grade Dark Elemental Stones. Naturally they weren't easy to carry. To people like Mane who were Body Wielders, the weight of the two blades was nothing. However, to others the two blades were like heavy boulders that couldn't be moved.Even so, when Mane forced the elegant looking counter before him to carry the burden that had been his until now, the seemingly weak looking flat board didn't cave in. The counter stood steadily, with nigh a creak nor a complaint. Mane couldn't help but feel surprised by this."Whatever was used to create this counter is extraordinary." Hildegarde stated, noticing that the abnormally study piece of furniture in front of them was special. "Indeed," Mane agreed, subtly sniffing in the air around to ascertain the origins of the counter."It reeks of the odour of a powerful bea
*Bang*Mane felt his head spinning as a loud ringing sound overwhelmed his senses. His eyes stared straight ahead, right in the direction of Zica; however, his mind was not in the present, nor was it trapped in the past. His thoughts swirled around his murky brain aimlessly, as the young Supreme of the True Universe tried to comprehend the words he had just heard. Mane had been informed of many things. There were many a secret that had been revealed to the young Supreme. In all those situations, Mane's réactions were acceptable. No matter how much surprise a piece of news brought him; no matter how mind boggling a piece of information was, Mane had never been struck down this badly. His heart and mind were in complete disarray. His eyes could see nothing but the great shock that occupied his brain, leaving everything in his vision appearing as white and hazy.Zica just stood and watched. She didn't say a word after introducing herself, and she wasn't planning to. She watched silently
Mane heard Zica's words. He heard her pleas. He understood her thoughts; for she was just like him. Besides, Mane knew that this was something he couldn't refuse; and the reason for that was simple.Order was a threat to every universe! Order was enough to take universes from Supremes and break the fate that bound a Supreme to their Universe! Supremes were the epitome of their Universes. Their talents were the very peak of the realms they lorded, and it was almost impossible to surpass them. The theory was that a Supreme was the strength cap of the universe they were born in. Order had broken this theory! Mane didn't know about this theory, but Zica did. This was what made Order such a freak and such a powerful threat. If he could conquer one, then he could conquer two, three, four and eventually take them all! That made him a threat to every universe. It was for this reason that Zica wasn't afraid that Mane would reject her offer. She was confident that the young Supreme would accept
"Chronos?"Mane was filled with disbelief when he heard the name of Zica's clan. It was but a single word, spoken in two syllables; yet to the young Supreme of the True Universe it was akin to the constant beating of a drum; it was similar to the recurrent strikes of lightnung during a heavy rainstorm.; it was as heavy as brass cymbals and as high as a great oak tree.Mane could feel the soul of Chronos within him tremble slightly at the mention of his name. He could feel great instability within Chronos's soul. It was as though the Selfish Titan King had been struck at the core of his soul and was struggling to contain his injuries. Mane had never experienced such a thing with Chronos; for the Selfish Titan King was always quiet. He was always calm. He was always composed. It mattered little what had happened or what was happening; Chronos regarded everything as mundane. If Mane had any doubts about Chronos representing something else but the man whose arrogance and pride towered bey
Order was like a good towering mountain. His presence was akin to a sleeping dragon, and though his eyes were all that could be seen, there was a great majesty about him that suggested that he wasn't a mere usurper. Order's gaze was like a sharp sword, sweeping past the realms and cutting the winds apart. His calm gaze filled the universe with dread. In his presence the Universe Will dared not blab out loud, and even the Watchers had to be cautious. Order stood silently for hours. He didn't move; neither did he speak nor shift his feet. Like a strong tower Order remained where he was, overlooking the firmament. The Castle of Order may be imposing, but Order made it seem a subservient kitten. Suddenly, there was a slight shift in the winds above, and a man clad in black just like Order appeared behind the Usurper of Zica's throne. Like a man without tongue and limited in speech, the man remained silent like Order. He brought his knees to the ground and was only content when they kisse
