"Is everyone okay?" Abe asked telepathically. With his extremely acute senses he was able to discern that John had come to his brother's aid. Nevertheless , the size of the explosion was such that Abe was worried that Jake may have been injured. Although the boy's breathing and aura were normal, that wasn't enough of a factor to rule out injury; for at their level they could easily suppress injuries in order not to show any weakness to the opposition.

Abe silently breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing both brothers confirm that they were fine. His anxious heart was calmed and peace was returned to his soul. However, he didn't get to rejoice for long. There was someone here who was after his life, and her pursuit hadn't ended just because he had lost sight of what was most important right now: survival!
