Despair: II

Frederick watched as the True Goddess slowly squeezed Selina's fragile neck, intent on breaking her in half. The pressure that the vile goddess had placed on him had been relieved somewhat, for the heartless woman who called herself an ancient goddess had taken the pressure off of Frederick's neck just so that he could lift his head and see what she was doing to Selina.

Frederick's eyes were red within the large helmet that he wore. He understood why the True Goddess was doing what she was. It seemed that the ancient goddess hadn't forgotten about Babylonia's attack. The True Goddess was now trying her best to hurt him, and she had found the best way to do it too. She may not be informed of the relationship that the two - Frederick and Selina - shared, but she had found his weakness anyway. The boy watched helplessly as the body part which carried the noble head of his girlfriend was put under stress that was best described as 'godly'.
