Mane was formerly a boy of his word. Now he was a man of his tongue. Once his words were rattled off his tongue, a great aura filled the entirety of Amalgamation as the heat the young Supreme had summoned increased in power. Mane lifted up one hand and all the flames rushed above that palm as a large fireball, almost as large as a medium sized mansion, filled the street.
“Magnificent,” Mane smirked and thrusted his palm towards Ancestor Fire whose expression was completely pale by now.
She took a several large steps backward, trying to create as much space between herself and the large fireball as possible, all the while spinning her slender cane before her to gather a small fire cyclone that acted as a barrier. However, even with her great speed, Ancestor Fire couldn’t seem to escape the looming fiery contraption that approached. And soon it was upon her.
“Boom” Mane whispered delicately, and the large fireball exploded.
*BO
Feeling the blazing heat coming her way, Ancestor Fire swiveled away to avoid a direct confrontation. She was an Ancient with control over fire, which meant that flames shouldn’t cause her any discomfort. For Mane’s flames to be capable of making her this uneasy, it meant that they were strong enough to burn her. So she made the wiser choice.*Whoosh*The fire sword light flashed past Ancestor Fire ominously, its furious light a darkening presence in these streets. With the ferocity of a starving lion it crashed into a mansion several meters away.*Boom*The barrier guarding the mansion rippled when it received the full brunt of Mane’s strike. A few cracks appeared upon its surface, but ultimately it didn’t break. And slowly those cracks began to heal.Ancestor Fire frowned slightly seeing the results of the strike. While the fire didn’t disperse like it did with Mane’s previous attack, it wasn’t a weak str
Mane was unaware of the enemy he had chosen to make. For he was currently occupied with Ancestor Fire.*Boom**Boom**Boom**Boom*The two went back and forth and destroyed almost every street in the city. Ancestor Fire was truly an Ancient. For her physique allowed her to survive blows which would have killed the regular Elemental. But even she couldn’t hold Mane back for long. Splintering Fist had already broken one of her arms and had rendered her half-crippled. Added to Mane’ incessant barrage, she was soon down.“You were a worthy opponent,” Mane looked down on the fallen Ancestor Fire with great respect. Although he hadn’t fought with his full strength, her fire control was strong. She was probably the best Mane had seen when it came to handling flames, with the exception of his father. Even Sunflower’s understanding paled greatly in comparison to Ancestor Fire’s.“Kill me,”
Cronos’s thoughts weren’t his alone; they were shared by Mane. The young Supreme felt a great stifling sensation. He wouldn’t be able to use Harch, and Night Mare and Night’s Kiss were trembling greatly. They were still under his control, but barely. If it wasn’t because of how close he was to his blades and his affinity with the Darkness Element that made them, they would have lost their will by now. But with the suppression of the Origin King, Mane could not use them to their full capacity. The best he could get out of both blades was half of their true strength.“This may be the toughest situation I have been in; very much like that fight two years ago,” Mane felt great pressure upon his shoulders. For the threat before him was much greater than he anticipated. It reminded him of his battle with that barbarian lady two years ago. It was that battle that led to his capture and subsequent ‘imprisonment’ in the Tower of th
Mane was fast and soon he reached Ancestor Origin’s location. The Origin King had one knee on the ground as he coughed up large amounts of blood. The armor around his chest was broken into several pieces and a large blue mark could be seen from the visible skin. Mane had injured him!“Spirit Scan”Mane was swift to activate the skill he hadn’t had the chance to use on Ancestor Origin just yet. And soon enough, the oldest ancestor’s information appeared before Mane.NAME: Ancestor OriginAGE: 1,000,000HEALTH POINTS: 50,000,000/50,000,000RACE: ElementalBLOODLINE: Fire Ancient BLOODLINE RANK: Level 13LEVEL: Ascension (Level 93.25)POWER LEVEL: 75,000,000,000WIELDER TYPE: Energy Wielder
Ancestor Origin reappeared through another space portal. But that one was much farther away from Mane than all the others. The oldest ancestor landed on both knees with an audible thud as jets of blood escaped his nostrils and mouth. His eyes were hazy and his breath shaky, and his entire body shook in pain and misery. Once his entire body made it out of the space portal, it became obvious why he was in so much pain. For his body was in pieces, tattered and torn apart by Mane’s earlier strike. The entire left side of Ancestor Origin’s body had been vaporized, with the inner armor that covered that section long destroyed as well. His left arm had been completely destroyed and the upper section of his left chest wasn’t spared either, leaving only his neck intact. The left leg had it better than the arm, for it hadn’t been completely destroyed. But while it survived total annilation, its state made one wonder what good it was. More than half of the thigh
“I must leave now!” Ancestor Origin screamed to himself and blindly sprinted towards a section of Mane’s Soul Space. Surely there must be a way to leave this place he thought.Cronos watched the Origin King’s attempt to escape with disinterest. The old relic had depended on his eyes to manipulate souls so much that he had no idea how souls worked. If he did, he would have known that a Soul Scape couldn’t be escaped by simply finding the exit. One had to break themselves out by using the power of their own soul. And this meant that if your soul was weak and you invaded a person with a stronger soul…“You will be trapping yourself,” Cronos slouched in his throne lazily and mumbled. The Origin King’s soul should have been a mighty one because he was so ancient. And it was. But the old coot didn’t know much about souls to be able to utilise his power. It was like handing a rocket launcher to an infant baby
Mane nodded his head like a stringed puppet, his dull eyes suggesting that he was not himself. His hand reached out for the Eyes of Destruction, their red glow a dangerous beast that called to him, pulling him into their selfish embrace. As Mane’s hand grew nearer, the red light grew brighter, and the shadow behind the eyes gained a more visible presence. A red robe hugged the shadow gently as it slowly gained its features. The only parts exposed by the robe were the hands, feet and head. The first to become visible were the hands. Soon the feet followed. And then the facial features of the shadow were revealed. If Mane could see the person he would have been stunned. For this was Ancestor Origin! This was his true soul! Cronos and Mane were right. There was no way the Origin King should have been so weak. And that was because he wasn’t! Everything was nothing but an elaborately planned ruse!“Yes kid. Touch it.”Great excitement could be
“Follow my lead and support me whenever there is an opening,” Odin commanded Mane and the young Supreme nodded his head in understanding. He had no weapons here – not like they would work brilliantly against the Origin King – so his fists were his sole reliance. Besides, he doubted that it would come to that. He swiftly cast a few leases on Odin, hoping that they would be of some assistance.“Celeritas”“Viribus”“Vitae”“Oh? This is pretty neat.” Odin nodded his head with pleasure upon receiving Mane’s consent and the blessing of his Leases. It was only now that Mane remembered that he was a Spiritual King. His boosts were significant. Odin gently stretched his neck and then without any hesitation he shot forward, his body moving through the Mind Scape like a specter of darkness that sought to crush its king’s life.*Wuu*Wherever Odin traveled the red light
