“Ah Mane Harbinger, the Unbended. So nice of you to join us.” Ra smiled as he gazed upon the figure of the boy who was slowly turning into a man.

“The Unbended?” Mane muttered in confusion as he straightened his slightly bent back.

“Yes. That is what the people are calling you now.” Brahman replied with a kind smile.

“Apparently, even in the face of overwhelming strength, he stood up from the debris and summoned the power of old,” the Jade Emperor spoke this time.

“Power of old?” Mane was confused once again.

“The power of Chaos. That is what people call the power of Chaos. After all, it is a power that they do not understand.” Ra spoke again, spitting out a stick from the many grapes he had carelessly tossed into his mouth.

“You speak as though you understand this power, God King Ra,” Celestial Lord Atlas stated plainly, causing Ra to hiss in annoyance; however, the prideful God King did nothing else.

“The Unbended huh,” 1st chuckled within Mane’s mind space, seemingly pleased by thi

After some small talk, Mane left the throne room. His absence changed nothing, just as his presence added nothing. Once he was gone, the God Kings continued their conversation, engaging in small talk with the Celestial Emperor before finally taking their leave. As one would expect, Atlas did not see them out. He merely called in a few of his trusted servants to guide the God Kings out of his palace. Clearly, he had no desire to accommodate them here.Once they left, Zeus appeared from the darkness. Looking in the direction from which his rivals had come and gone, a small sigh escaped his lips. Turning to Atlas, he chuckled and said,“It is becoming harder and harder for you to hide your true feelings when you are around them. I remember you used to be very composed, to the point of perfection.”“Lord Zeus,” Atlas greeted politely.“You should learn to hide your emotions better. It was clear to them that you were hostile towards their presence. They are quite sensitive, you know.” Zeus

“Master, why did you ask me to come here,” Mane asked as he stood in front of the gate to a humble home.He wore a large cloak with a hood that hid his face and figure perfectly. His head was bowed and his back slightly hunched to keep his disguise. This was because now that the universe knew his face, his days of walking around freely were over. He was able to stand unnoticed before this house because of this. Thankfully, none of the numerous Celestials passing by had noticed that he was the Supreme. Clearly, his camouflage worked a charm.“This is his home. This is Brahman’s home.” The Bloodied Blade Lord replied. For it had been his impulsive decision that Mane should come this way. At least, that was what Mane thought. He had been told that Brahman and his master were siblings and though that had been difficult to believe at first, it made sense considering that none of his masters were ordinary. Maybe, just maybe, it was time to free them from the burden of being stuck with him.

“How did you know where to find me?” Brahman asked as he sat opposite the Supreme. This young boy had impressed him during his match and was doing same once again. He couldn’t help but try to understand the inner workings of this brilliant boy’s mind.“It is best if I answer that,” Blade Lord replied, and a hazy figure materialized next to Mane. This apparition was nothing more than smoke in the form of a person, yet the aura it gave off was comparable to the aura of God Kings! Even though it had no form, two hazy blades could be made out from its figure, presumably strapped to its back. This was the materialized form of the Blade Lord!“Master!” Mane screamed in shock, for he had no idea that this was possible.“Oh? We didn’t tell you?” 1st mumbled.“Tell me what?” Mane replied.“Well, when you broke into the Nobility Realm, it became possible for us to materialize next to you. While we cannot show our true forms, we can accompany you like spirits. Huh. Did we really not say a word?”

The Hunter Organization. A mysterious entity that Mr. Aikens, Mane’s teacher back at the Wielder Academy, had refused to speak on. Although they had built and nurtured Wielder Academies all over the planet of Zandor, very little was known about those who were the true backbone of this institution. All that the commonfolk knew was that it was comprised of individuals called hunters who farmed and killed dangerous creatures and sold them to wealthy merchants for processing. There were rumours that they were also in charge of protecting the world, but when Zandor had been invaded, they disappeared. This made people realize that it was this was a baseless rumour. They had hidden like rats before the face of the power of the gods. The hunters, including some of the most popular ones had suddenly disappeared. It was almost as though they had an escape plan in place in case things went south in Zandor and had used their get-out card the moment trouble descended upon the formerly glorious pla

Mane lay silently in his bed, his thoughts churning and swirling. His eyes were aimed at the ceiling. Those beautiful blue orbs that spoke of his heritage and his birth, sparkled with dim acknowledgement as the words of the God King Brahman continuously played through the young Supreme’s mind. His sparkling eyes may have been facing the ceiling, yet they were not focussed on it. His heart was somewhere else, just like his mind.“Are you wondering if he spoke the truth?” 1st asked his quiet disciple. The beauty of being linked to Mane’s mind was the ability to discern the unhidden thoughts of the latter without much effort. It was a convenient means of communication, and one that lovers all around the universe would no doubt have craved. Alas, they could only envy it.“No, I know he spoke the truth,” Mane shook his head at his master’s question, his reply showing how much he trusted in his masters. For the reason why he believed Brahman was not tied to the gifts Brahman had offered him

Mane had received four things from the ruler of the 4th Heaven: an integration stone, an amplification stone, the demon god’s robe, and the blade of samsara. Each one of these items was unordinary, and they had different uses, but the most precious of them all was the integration stone. It was so precious that even Cronos had gasped in shock upon seeing it. Mane could not fathom the degree of importance this thing had, and the fact that it had been given so freely made it harder to appreciate this item, but after hearing what it was capable of, he understood just how precious of a gift he had received. An integration stone was not a weapon like the blade of samsara or the demon god’s robe; yet it was more precious thran either one of these or even both of them combined! It was something that was coveted by demons and gods alike, and there were few who could resist the allure to procure this item. Alas, integration stones were almost impossible to find. They weren’t like devil stones t

The winds of change howled through the darkening skies. This wind had been prevalent since the Supreme revealed himself a few days ago. Since then, the hubbub had died out, but the name of the Supreme had not been forgotten. These few days were enough for the people to give the 7th Supreme a new name. Some called him the Rising Star Supreme while others called him the Storm Bringer because of his feat of commanding lightning during his duel; however, these paled in comparison to the monicker that the entire universe acknowledged.Mane Harbinger the Unbended! For the Supreme had refused to bow even when overwhelmed by the power of his foe! Every universe craved the power of a Supreme whose power was unmatched. After all, who didn’t want the protector of the universe to be the strongest in that universe? Of course, this excluded those who schemed in the darkness and detested the light. While might was important, a will that was above all others was regarded even more highly. The Supreme

“Thor Odinson, King of Asgard. One has to admit that it has got a nice ring to it.” Heimdall, master of interstellar transport and the one whose eyes could see through all deceit to ascertain truth, looked up at the being seated uncomfortably on the throne of Asgard with a teasing smile.“What are you doing here and why are you calling me that,” Thor asked, his eyes radiating his discomfort.“Am I to remain as a trapped lamb on the planet I was assigned to? This is more interesting, isn’t it? Seeing the King of Asgard squirming upon the seat which he wields power from.” Heimdall chuckled. It surely was an interesting sight to see the one who had the blood of millions of giants in his hands lose his composure because of a mere title. Well, who could blame him when Thor had hated the concept of king from the very moment he had learned what humility was. When he understood that freedom and kingship were two completely hostile factors, he had forsaken any desire to rule. In fact, he had s

“This…is amazing,” Mane’s eyes widened as he took in the sight before him.The young Supreme was seated on Roxanne. The beautiful dark horse had been granted the power of flight by Crystal who had no trouble casting a flight Lease on the lovely beast. While this was not a permanent condition, it would last hours, and that was thanks to Crystal’s expert command over Chaos. Any other person would have been able to cast this Lease for just under a few minutes. Mane was no exception to this. Even if his power was not sealed, he would not be able to use this Lease to liberally. If this Lease was that practical, it would have been popularized.Next to him, Professors Stern and Stanley, and Dean Desmond had smile plastered on their faces as they watched the Supreme’s gobsmacked reaction to the impressive sight before him. Behind the professors were the students, both old and new. While the older students, Kahn, Frost, Bel, and Maia were floating on their own, the new students had to be envel

“What a brilliant welcome,” Poseidon slowly moved towards the teenage looking Zeus and Atlas with a broad smile on his face. The god of the waves floated elegantly upon a bident, his eyes briefly scanning Atlas before finding his brother’s immature figure.“You have grown weak, brother,” Poseidon chuckled as he slowly flew towards his brother.Atlas, who had been on guard since Poseidon’s appearance, frowned upon seeing the god of the waves getting closer to a much weaker Zeus. His figure flashed as he appeared before Zeus, shielding him from the gaze of his own blood brother. “You have fallen low brother. Now, you require the protection of a titan? Hilarious.” Poseidon mocked as he locked eyes with the delicate looking Atlas. “Of course I have fallen. Not only was I betrayed by my own son, but I also almost died. What did you expect will happen when one who is considered as part of the big three of Olympus approaches a fallen god?” Zeus did not mind his brother’s comments.Instead

Days passed and soon it was time for Mane to leave the planet of the Celestial Emperor. Well, he wasn’t the only one leaving. It was time for the professors to return to their academies with their students – both old and new. In front of the portal that could transport them back to their academies, Mane stood with his friends as they bid each other goodbye. Well, something close to that at least. To give them some privacy, the other professors had gone on ahead with the students, standing a few tens of meters away from the Silver Wolves.“Our great Supreme, our captain and leader, the Unbended is finally leaving us. Whatever are we to do?” Abe waved his hands theatrically as he feigned sadness and pain. His words caused Selina and the twins to snicker. Only Aegeus snorted before shooting Abe a deathly stare. As for Mane, he could only smile wryly at Abe’s comments. He didn’t know when it had started since he had been away for so long in the Dreamscape, but Abe had become more easy goi

  • Hunters: The Prequel   Way Forward

It took a week for Godking to complete its assignment and soon, Mane was back on Planet Celestial. Walking through the streets of the capital, he noticed that he was receiving a lot of stares. While it wasn’t unusual for people to stare at him given his appearance and his ethereal aura, that was only on Zandor. One could argue that it was because he didn’t look like a Celestial, but that was not accurate either. Since Celestials opened their homes to others who craved entry into the God Academies, they had welcomed several different species into their home world. Mane wasn’t not out of place in this new era, meaning there were definitely staring for another reason.“You have become very popular, young Supreme,” Professor Stern who was walking next to Mane chuckled and said.“Hahaha! The recordings that were taken of you should have spread everywhere by now. Even those who were unable to attend the event know who you are!” Professor Stanley laughed heartily while striking the young Sup

“You are still eating, even after all that happened?” Hildegarde frowned and said. She was looking at the boy who had forcefully taken her with him when he was returning to his realm with a disapproving gaze. They had escaped that world that had been prepared as his burial place. As though it had never happened, they had returned to the exact spot he had been teleported from – the kitchen. Hildegarde was confused about his current reaction.Seeing him biting onto his tuna sandwich caused her eyebrows to lift in frustration. It was the very same meal that Mane had made and had barely taken a bite of when he was transported to another world. And yes, that was not a dream; it had really happened. She couldn’t understand how the Supreme could be so calm after coming out of a life-or-death situation.“What would you have me do then? Toss it into the trashcan? That would be a waste of food.” Mane answered nonchalantly as he wiped some fish from his cheek.“That…” Hildegarde searched for wor

There were many things that could not be understood in this world, regardless of the amount of logic that one’s mind could process at any given moment, there were things that befuddled even the most brilliant minds. One of such brilliant minds – no, two of these – was staring into the sky full of stars with a torn expression on his face. This man – nay, this god – was the trickster and master shapeshifter, Loki. But he wasn’t alone.“What are you thinking about?”“Many things.”“The great Loki has more than one troubling issue? This is interesting. Odin would have laughed at the absurdity of such a statement; but looking at your expression, it seems to be true.”“It is arrogance to assume that one can solve all one’s problems with one’s mind alone. Why do you think I sought you?”“Isn’t it greater arrogance to presume that two would be enough?”“But its not just two is it? One is the mind of Odin and the other is the mind that Odin sought.”“You say you aren’t arrogant, but you do not
