Panting roughly, Tucker’s eyes struggled to maintain their focus. His hand that held onto Nightmare’s hilt shook constantly like a leaf and his grip weakened by the second. The divine weapon forged by Zica had already lost its lustre, and the greyish energy of destruction that fed it had grown so dim that it best resembled a flickering candlelight that was about to be extinguished. Tucker’s face was still expressionless, but exhaustion could easily be seen on his face. Sweat streamed down his chiselled jaw as freely as the waters of a waterfall. He was greatly fatigued.

There were people in the universe who were resistant to tiredness. Nobles, Gods, and Ascenders.
