3rd Sky: VII

“Take the kid. I will handle the others,” Komfo Anokye ordered as his figure floated towards the Skies. Mane hesitated slightly upon hearing his command. He was basically being told to do the least amount of work. He felt like he could do more.

“Be appreciative of their efforts and just follow orders. If you strain yourself too much, that tear in your soul would only get larger.” Cronos reminded Mane of his weakness, forcing the young Supreme to sigh in resignation. He knew Cronos was right. Not using Chaos was a protective mechanism, but if he overused Edict, he would still be damaging his soul. It was best to do what was minimally possible. Besides, he knew that Komfo Anokye didn’t need help. He was only asking him to help so Mane wouldn’t feel totally useless.

“Fine,” the young Supreme sighed and dashed forward, flashing past his granduncle, and flying into the group of eager Skies.
