The 9th sky retreated with a frown on his face. His eyes were filled with confusion as he evaded Mane’s sword once again. Several times now, Mane had used Absolute Darkness to ignore his barrier and come directly for him. He couldn’t understand how Mane was doing it, but he was aware of the fact that his barrier was useless before Mane. Due to this, he had retrieved his barrier and had created a faint screen of Chaos around him, directly adhered to his body. While it wasn’t as strong as his barrier, it would be able to save him from a dangerous attack. His expression, even while engulfed by dirt and insects, was as serene as that of a person vacationing at Maldives.
