Adalyn We packed up all our things, said our goodbyes to all our new friends and headed for our cars. Ard’al warned us that Oliver had contacted him and that they had tracked Tobias and Octavia to Seattle. “What do you want to bet that they are running to Typhon”, Ezra said. “He will die for what he did to Delilah”, Malik growled. “Ok big boy, calm down. Rainn I sat at my desk with my head in my hands. My office was trashed, my desk now broken in half. It’s been two weeks since Adalyn and Elodie went missing. AdalynDarkness surrounded me, I could hear some faint noises, but my eyes refused to open. I tried to move any part of my body, but it was useless. I felt another prick in my neck and slowly feeling started to return. I’m not sure how long it took but I was eventually able to open my eyes. The light in the room was blinding. The view is breathtaking, the sky is bright blue and the grass in the meadow is a deep green. There are patches of purples, yellows, whites, and red wildflowers. As he stares at the beauty, he gets lost in a trance, letting everything else fall away. He's rudely awakened from that moment by his little brother Liam, who had just turned eight. He was rolling down the hill unable to stop himself before barreling into Rainn. Eleven Years Later Rainn Rainn woke up in a cold sweat from the nightmare again, just like every night for the last eleven years. He could still hear his mother's voice and see the look on her face after her death. There are still days when he can't seem to scrub his hands enough to feel clean. Rainn When Liam burst through the ballroom doors with Ard'al and Malik behind him, all hell broke loose. Malik was holding a frail looking woman with tears running down his face.
