Sebastian’s POV
I am in the house of Melody. I am sitting on the chair in the living room while waiting for her to come here.
A few minutes later, she arrived while carrying two small wine glasses and a beer. “You know what, you are incredibly lucky because my parents are in the United States of America. If they are here, I will not drink beer with you,” she said and put the things she was carrying on the small table. Then, she sat on the sofa, “So, why do you want us to drink beer?” She asked, which made me smile. So, I messed up her hair.
I will not tell her why I ask her to drink beer with me. The important to me now is I am with her tonight.

Patrick’s POV I am sitting on my chair in front of the table in the precinct. At this moment, I am watching videos on the newsfeed of my YouTube account using my cellphone. A few minutes later, I was shocked when I saw a news article about the death of a woman. Because of the curiosity I felt, I watched it. “Woman was found dead in a creek at Barangay Sakura in Quezon City. She had 34 stab-wounds, and authorities on Sunday, January 19, released her identity. She is Pearl Ingram, 21 years old. Until now, they are investigating what happened to her.” The reporter said. I was shocked when I saw the pict
Melody’s POV I opened my eyes. I am lying on the bed in my room. A few minutes later, my head hurt. I feel blood will come out from my head due to the pain I am experiencing. Because of what happened, I regretted I drank beer with Sebastian last night. I promise I will not drink beer any longer because every time I have a hangover, my head always hurts every time I wake up in the morning. I suddenly remembered what I had done the last two days because my head hurt. Flashback
Phoenix’s POV After our class in a subject earlier, all my classmates left the classroom to buy food in the cafeteria, because break time had arrived, except Patricia, “Phoenix, let’s eat together,” she said while I was organizing my things. “Go to the cafeteria, I just have to talk to someone,” I said to her. After organizing my things, I left the classroom and tried to find where Melody was. She must know I now remember everything. So, we can plan how we eradicate Sage in my life. I stopped walking when I heard someone call me, “Phoenix,” Sage seriously said. He is the thorn in my throat. &nb
Nate’s POV When I opened my eyes, I realized I was sitting on a chair. My feet and hands were tied-up to it. I honestly do not remember a single detail about my life. All I know is I am dead already. So, I tried to find where I was. I am in the middle of the darkness. So, I tried to free myself from being tied to the chair, but I stopped when a few minutes later, a man appeared in front of me, “W-Who a-are y-you?” I asked him while stuttering. So, he looked at me, and he started to speak. “I am Nathan Montefalco,” he introduced himself to me, “Your former classmate,” he said, so I became happy.
Phoenix’s POV “My older brother destroyed my life,” I started to talk to Patricia, “He falsely claimed to dad and mom I was smoking. Dad died due to a heart attack when he did that horrible thing.” I said, so my tears started to fall again. Patricia and I are sitting on the bed in my room. “Is that the reason why you are acting coldly around your mother?” She asked me. So, I nodded in response to her question. A few seconds later, I held her hand, and I started to speak. “Mom blamed me for what happened to dad,” I said to her. Then, I wiped out my tears. After that, I told her every horrible thing my brother did to me. “Promise me you will not tell anyone I killed my older brother, including Sage!” When she heard what I said, she pull
Phoenix’s POV I received a text message from Melody when I turned on my phone. According to her, she has a surprise for me. She also told me to go to an abandoned building near the school. I am not going to lie; I am worried right now. If something terrible happens to Patricia because of Melody, I will kill her. I put my phone in my pocket and went to the abandoned building. I became more worried about the safety of Patricia when I saw her car parked near the school entrance. I would be honest; I was hopeful she was alright, but I was wrong. Tsk! Patrick’s POV
Phoenix’s POV When SPO2 Patrick Smith, Sage, and I arrived in an abandoned building, I closed my hands after seeing the corpse of Patricia hanging on the ceiling. “Call backup, Patrick,” Sage ordered to him. So, I smirked, then I kneeled. After that, I screamed. I cried like a toddler in front of them, so they would not blame me for what happened here. A few seconds later, Sage touched me on my left shoulder. “Calm down—” he did not manage to continue to speak when I forcefully removed his hand from touching my shoulder. “Calm down? My cousin died! How can I calm down?!” I asked while crying. So, he sarcastically laughed. “Can you please stop acting like that,” he coldly s
Phoenix’s POV When I realized it was now morning, I organized my things. I will go to school today. I did not speak with mom when having breakfast because I still could not believe that Patricia was dead. I am not going to lie; I am angry at Melody for what she did to her. When I entered my classroom, I sat on the chair at its last part beside the window and Sage. I just looked through the window while my other classmates were noisy. A few minutes later, our teacher arrived. Then, he started the class. I will be honest; I am not in the mood to listen to his lecture right
