- Chapter forty-eight - HUMILITY

Phoenix’s POV

         

          When I realized it was now morning, I organized my things. I will go to school today. I did not speak with mom when having breakfast because I still could not believe that Patricia was dead.  

          I am not going to lie; I am angry at Melody for what she did to her. 

          When I entered my classroom, I sat on the chair at its last part beside the window and Sage. 

          I just looked through the window while my other classmates were noisy. A few minutes later, our teacher arrived. Then, he started the class. 

          I will be honest; I am not in the mood to listen to his lecture right
