I needed a distraction but Jayden was nowhere to be found, and I realized just how much my world revolves around him.

I didn't mind, but right now, he wasn't with me.

“This is so frustrating,I'm losing my mind!” I screamed and was about to fling my phone again when I got a notification on my phone.

It was a memory reminder on Facepen social media platform. A picture Cindy and I took on our first day in 11th grade.

“That's right, Cindy,” I snapped my fingers as I dialed her number and she picked on the second dial.

“Yes, Cindy,” Rhoda was all jumpy beside me.

“I haven't heard from you since you got married and thought you must be really enjoying the honeymoon phase,” Cindy said in s cheerful tone as soon as she picked up.

“As if you're one to talk. You literally disappeared after and didn't come to school and your number was unreachable. Keep disappearing like that and you might just lose your bestie spot in my life,” I said with a frown as I stuffed a whole strawbe
