76 - Lunch from The Lunch Hub

Two hours later, the continuous rumbling sound that I'd been hearing for two minutes straight made me raise my head from my work.

I looked around the room to identify the source when my eyes found Jessica.

I looked first at her chest to confirm her clothes were dry before looking up and when I did, we shared eye contact.

I hope she didn't misunderstand.

“Your stomach is the one making that sound right?” I asked as I removed my glasses and placed them in the case.

“I'm embarrassed and sorry if it disturbed you,” she blushed as I looked at my Rolex watch which my uncle had insisted I wore.

“It's lunch break, why don't you go eat something downstairs?” I asked but she shook her head.

“I'm too scared to,” she shook her head.
