KAILA ASHFOLD
The window curtains were all drawn down, and the room was grim and melancholic even though it was morning. As the maids stood still, unmoved, they watched Kaila in her grief, her lower eyes darkening, but she kept layering it with more dust from the cosmetic powder. They couldn't walk towards her to help since they'd be risking their heads in that attempt. Kaila stared at the mirror, the more she covered. A little bit of tears stained her face, and the powder darkened. She was infuriated as hell. She looked like a witch crying black blood. Her reflection looked horrible, and it scared the hell out of her. Her hands shivered as she dusted the foam into the powder and covered it. It was a total mess. "We'd help you, my Lady!" one of her maids offered. "Damn it! That wench!" Kaila yelled angrily as she madly raked all the cosmetics on her vanity desk away with her hands, and they all shattered to the floor. "My lady!!" The maids all stood up in shock and rushed to help her. Kaila gripped an eye pencil and rashly stabbed the closest maid to her around the cheek, and she bled horribly with an excruciating yelp. "Get away from me! Don't look at my face!" she yelled, as she covered her face with her two palms. She lost Alys, her only card, her only closest proximity to the king. Alpha Axel had not called her for some time, and she only got to see him mostly with Alys. There was no way he'd chase her away when she was with his daughter, but now where was Alys? "You look a mess, Kaila," Lord Ashfold's voice called as Kaila looked up to her father. He was all dressed in a wine robe, his gold necklace reaching his belly. "Father?" Kaila called. Shame of failure washed over her as she bowed slowly. Lord Ashfold signaled the maids, and they all rushed out immediately. "I've failed. I lost composure in front of the king and almost put our family in trouble. I'm a mess," Kaila said in her grating tone. "Now I see you've proven to me that you are at least enthusiastic about this," Lord Ashfold said as he walked towards her, his hands folded behind his back, as Kaila stared up at him with her darkened face. "You've not failed yet, and you will not. This should be a stepping stone. Everyone sees her as a monster now. You shouldn't be intimidated at all by her unborn child. She is currently a breeder, and once she gives birth to the child, she won't escape execution!" Lord Ashfold said. "And then the courts will support your adoption of her child. But before that, you have to try conceiving for the king again," Lord Ashfold said, and Kaila's brows squinted as she swallowed. "Conceive for the king?" Kaila thought inwardly, the thought curdling in her mind. To Axel, she was nothing more than a warm body during the cold years of his rebellion. The king has never planted his seed in her. She was merely like a sex slave to him when he was preparing for the war against the mad king and the royal House of the Lycans. Her father, Lord Ashfold, swore fealty to Alpha Axel. He knew that Alpha Axel would win the war. Lord Ashfold saw that Alpha Axel had raised a hundred thousand soldiers, the majority from his own Pack Stronghold, the Blood Claw Pack, and thousands of other soldiers from other powerful packs in the kingdom to seize the throne. Her father, Lord Ashfold, was last to choose a side and only to secure their pack and family. He saw that there was no way Alpha Axel would lose the war now, and he quickly then offered five thousand soldiers from his own Stronghold, to fight alongside the king. To gain the king's trust, he also offered Kaila to be his mistress. "Make yourself useful to him. Our future depends on it," her father told her. Kaila tried several times to conceive for the king, but he was like an impenetrable wall. He only used her for sex and never planted his seed. His heart was cold as ice and had never softened to her. He was only focused on the war. Kaila had no choice but to conceive using Jeremy and drugging the king, passing a night with him, making him believe he owned her pregnancy, and then she gave birth to Alys. "You have to do this if you still have the dream of becoming the Queen!" Lord Ashfold said. Kaila swallowed and nodded. "I'll do that, Father," she responded. "I have prepared the mourning procession," Lord Ashfold said. "Procession? I am not going to walk and mourn the body of my dead daughter in the streets! I can't stand the wretched commoners wailing and throwing flowers at me, Father!" Kaila immediately protested, and Lord Ashfold grabbed her hands tightly. "You have to do this! You can't let the death of your daughter go in vain. Make the most of it. You have to walk her dead body today before she's cremated tonight!" Lord Ashfold said. "But why? How will those gross commoners' sympathy benefit me?" Kaila said with a smirk of disgust. The thought of walking the streets in an open carriage mourning, with the commoners gathering around, throwing flowers and leaves, and wailing with her, grossed her out. "You do not know the influence of those commoners. Once you win their sympathy, you win their support. They'd contribute to your coronation as Queen Consort. It is not just by saying you are Queen Consort at the Trial!" Lord Ashfold yelled, and Kaila's eyes squinted. She saw that he was right. She was only his mistress, and this could be her chance. "But how could there be a Queen Consort when there is no Queen?" Kaila questioned. "The common people have eyes. They see that Princess Ava Killian is the king's mate, and he rejected her already. She cannot be his queen. This gives you an advantage. Take the procession walk—it's getting late." Kaila quickly took her bath and wore a gorgeous black gown. Accompanied by over ten armored guards, she rode in an open carriage, while Alys's body, wrapped, lay before her on another carriage. The procession started, and the moment she was outside the palace walls, crowds started gathering. She cried her eyes out even though there were no tears left to cry. Like she had thought, they walked with her and cried with her, throwing flowers and herbal leaves at her. They felt the pain of a mourning mother who lost her child to a cruel princess. It grossed her out, and she wanted to throw up, despite the significant distance the armored guards had set between her and the commoners who sympathized with her. "Damn Princess Ava the Cruel! The babe slayer! Long live Consort Kaila!" the people chanted repeatedly. And Kaila's mood changed when she heard her name being called for the first time by this vast crowd of men and women, the old and the young, the youth and children, while Ava's name was being cursed. "Long live Consort Kaila!" A smile crept onto Kaila's lips as they continued following the procession. This is it, there is no going back, she felt powerful, she felt the approval from the people what excuse does Alpha Axel have now to marry her as his Queen Consort?AXEL VOSS The bathtub filled with cold freezing water, The huge blocks of ice floating on the surfaces, the ice clinked as it shifted, cracking under the surface of the overflowing tub. It gradually melts into the water also fills the bathtub more and it spills to the ground, Alpha Axel submerged himself under the bathtub, one wouldn't know there was a living being under this freezing cold water. His skin pale, lips tinged blue. For thirty minutes, he remained still, His muscles tightened as the cold gnawed him, dulling everything else. He regularly forces himself into the cold freezing water, the shock and cold numbness of his body taking away the heaviness of his emotions, Perhaps it ease the heaviness of his sleep deprivation a little bit which makes him feel unattached and regularly unimpressed. Until the air bubbles starts floating on the surfaces, Henri noticed the king was losing his breath scared to death he attempted to help him, "May I help you my king?" Henri ask
AXEL VOSSAxel's grip tightened, fingers digging into Ava's fragile arm. The space between them crackled with an unseen energy, thick with loathing. The scent of lavender that clung to her skin—innocent, delicate—but his mind twisted the scent into something else gradually, something darker. Her tear-stained eyes blurred into something grotesque in his mind. He couldn't see the plea; he couldn't see the fear in her eyes anymore. His mind was twisting and morphing with every blink until all that remained was the image of the mad king grinning back at him.The memory surged forward. He was back in that cold, firelit room at his Pack Stronghold again, and the same lavender scent that clung to Ava, with the same mocking smile, was on the mad king's face.Axel's eyes were stained with tears. His two hands and two legs were chained to the huge ironwork antique in his father's sophisticated chamber by the mad king. He had seen his father's head cut off by the cowardly king himself. The mad k
AVA KILLIAN "I'd make her grovel for the cold hands of death. Ava, is it?" Axel asked, his voice cold and dripping with pure hatred. Axel's eyes never left the mad king, burning with the promise of revenge. Until the pressure of Ava’s trembling body beneath his hands yanked him back to the present. Her breath hitched, the sound sharp and desperate, pulling him out of the nightmare. His fingers loosened slightly, the pain in his shackled wrist seeping through like the 10-year-old memory had just resurfaced. The distant echo of the chains was gone, replaced by the low crackle of the hearth. He blinked hard, the horrible memory of his sister's death dissolving into the pale, frightened eyes of Ava beneath him. For a moment, he stared, his heartbeat still pounding in his ears. The scent of lavender lingered in the air, mocking him. "The mad king's daughter, Ava! I promised to make you grovel for the cold hands of death!" he said. Ava, who had no idea what was going on in his head
AVA KILLIANAva immediately saw that Kaila was glaring directly at the sword stand in the king’s room. It was the exact same glare she had on her face when she held her hostage at the trial. She slowly shifted towards the edge of the king’s bed, which seemed endless to reach since it was such a large bed.She knew if Kaila got to the swords, she would die horribly. Even though she didn’t want this life, even though she wanted to die and pay for all the sins her father had committed since it’s what everyone wanted, she realized she couldn’t just choose to die now. She realized she wasn’t responsible for only her own life but also for her unborn child, her little Lycan.“My little Lycan, mummy will protect you,” Ava said inwardly as she gently rubbed her stomach. The next move from Kaila made Ava rush out of the bed, stark naked, and instinctively run to the embrace of Alpha Axel, causing his goblet to fall and splash his wine on the floor.A gasp escaped Ava’s lips as the king’s arm ti
AVA KILLIANAva stood before the mirror in her dimly lit room, staring at her naked body. Her breasts, her nipples—they all hurt. The injury from the thorns Axel had pierced into her flesh stung sharply, and the bruises on her wrists from where she had been bound by stems itched relentlessly.Tears spilled from Ava’s eyes. She scratched her wrists with growing desperation, blood trickling down her arms to the floor. Still, she didn’t stop."Ohhh, princess—you’re hurting yourself!" The maid rushed forward, lightly grasping Ava’s arm, but Ava shoved her away with more strength than she intended."Leave me alone! You don’t care about me! I’m being watched by everyone in this palace. And you—you’re just like the rest! Just like the one who stole my hair and framed me. You don’t care!" Ava’s voice rose in a fury, her words tinged with desperation. The maid looked at the princess—once full of life, gentle as a dove, and kind. Now, Ava was a shell, shattered by the sins of her father, punish
AXEL VOSSAlpha Axel caressed the intricate sigil of his pack, which was engraved on his sharp sword hilt: a full moon and a bloody wolf-clawed mark across the moon. He slid it back into its sheath, and Henri bowed slightly as he accepted it from him and immediately placed it on its stand."Your Majesty, I think the Princess didn't do it!" Henri broke the silence as Alpha Axel faced him at once, his glare deep enough to see through one's soul.Henri was his most loyal guard, a very skilled and lethal swordsman from his pack, The Blood Claw. He was an honorable and loyal man; he must have seen something before he said such a thing.Henri bowed slightly after seeing Alpha Axel's predatory glare. "What made you say that, Henri?" Axel asked as he walked toward him."I don't have profound evidence right now, but... but my instinct, Your Majesty!" Henri said, his head still bowed slightly. Before he could blink next, with the speed of lightning, Alpha Axel had teleported behind him, and the
AVA KILLIANHer lips were dry and her eyes darkened as she sat before the vanity desk, glaring at the mirror reflecting her miserable state. Her hands shivered as she reminisced about the other night. It was blurry; she couldn’t have possibly done it. There’s no way.How did Alys' scarf get into her hands? What could have come over her to become so ruthless? A child?"Don’t hide behind the cloak of your righteousness. You killed her!" Her own voice spoke, betraying her will. She smacked the table and nipped her hand until it turned red."You killed that poor girl! After all, you are just as mad as your father! You want to escape the punishment of the king so desperately, you killed an innocent child who caught you escaping!" Her voice spoke eerily into her ears again as she blocked her ears with both hands."Please... stop! I am sorry, I didn’t mean to... please," Ava pleaded, her voice grating as tears blurred her vision. She buried her face in her lap as she panicked and hallucinate
KAILA ASHFOLDShe walked through the castle corridor of her quarters floor with her delicate, noble gait, as her wine-colored, flowing hair cascaded down her shoulders. Her face was held high, and her shoulders were back, as though the world was beneath her. Maids stopped to bow whenever she passed. And of course, behind her was Jeremy. They walked into her chambers. She removed her gloves and flung them into the air as she loosened her tightened corset. She walked towards her vanity desk and stared at the mirror, her cheeks aching after spending the day faking a smile at the female court."How dare those wretches! They still treat me like one of them!" Kaila smirked as she reminisced about the noble ladies of the Great Packs and Houses speaking to her casually despite being the king's mistress. Their subtle and indirect jabs about her chances of being nominated as Queen Consort were clear."I can't wait to be nominated as the Queen Consort! I'd do whatever it takes to win the tests!"
UNEDITED CONE BRACKENRIDGE Cole had never tasted true pain. He was the son with the perfect birthright, unscarred by curses, adored by all. He was handed everything on a gilded platter, and yet now—now—we shared a mate? The word seared my mind. My wolf clawed at the edges of my control, demanding blood, demanding dominance. But I tried harder to calm my wolf; he could rule all day and night, but this night was mine. I have to be in control of my wolf.I glanced at Vissera. She stood stiffly beside me, her head held high, a fragile thing pretending at strength. She was looking at Cole as he entered the hall. She didn’t dare look at me. She was trembling, and it wasn’t the chill of the hall that did it. It was me.I terrified her.No matter how softly I spoke, no matter how carefully I moved, my presence consumed the air around her like smoke. She was suffocating. The fragile bond between us hummed with fear, and that fear only fuelled my rage. My fists clenched at my sides. Not toni
VISSERA ASHTOWER I was safely escorted into Alpha Soft-heart's automobile with him by my side. He held my hand tightly as the car drove us off towards the Moontower. I felt some relief because this time it isn't the Bloodtower. But I noticed something with me that I felt so embarrassed about, and I do not want Alpha Cole to notice this: the moment Alpha Stoneheart left the moonspire with his entourage, my body had instantly started to feel that foreign insatiable feeling that I felt when I was in Alpha Cone's captive, That irresistible heat spreading in my core made my vagina wet and throb when he dominated me and made me submit to his wild sexual ordeals. When I begged to not be his hunt and begged to be submissive and do anything he wants because I have heard tales of him totally losing it to his beast, and his beast would hunt and suck the blood of his hunt dry.I didn't want to become that, be his hunt, and the fear etched my heart for betraying him. His distorted guttural voic
Unedited VISSERA ASHTOWER I woke up in the middle of the night to meet Alpha Cole just by my side; the chandelier's candles in the room all lit up his handsome, well-structured face. His face was like it was moulded by the dexterous hand of the Creator of heaven and earth himself, but the room feels like it was melancholic. "You are awake, "he growled as he caressed my forehead with his hand; my heart fluttered... I couldn't tell why, but I could say it is still the disbelief that the most revered Alpha, Cole, is my mate, and right here checking if I'm alright. "Yes… I feel better. I can assure you I am in good health, Alpha." I quickly defended. Most Alphas will send their mates back immediately if they show the slightest message of unhealthiness. Inbred nobles and weak mates, I'm not any of those. I'm not ready to be chased back because of a damned uncontrollable heat. I am not ready to lose all this. This is my chance to save myself and Yennefer from the hell of all these men
(Chapter to be fixed)CONE BRACKENRIDGE Alpha Cone growled, holding on to the littlest humanity left in him as unbearable pain rippled through him, his driver shivering like a leaf the moment he drove into the Bloodtower territory. "No..." Alpha Cone choked out, his voice low, barely audible. "Vissera…” He called; he realised now that he was only able to stay in control for so long because Vissera was his mate and nearer to him, but now that she was gone, he couldn't keep control of his beast anymore.Something inside him snapped. It started in his chest, a pain so fierce it felt like his heart was being ripped apart. He staggered out of the car clutching at his ribs; the pain wasn't only physical. Her betrayal consumed him, feeding the rage that swirled together like a storm within him, His beast surged forward, no longer asking permission. It tore into him, merciless and wild. The pain became unbearable, ripping through his nerves like fire. He fell to his knees, his hands si
Unedited COLE BRACKENRIDGE That is the most humane I have seen Cone, my twin brother in a while, not as a dread soaked myth, not as a bloodlust beast terrorizing the Kingdom. There seems to be this small hint of humanity in him when he realized we shared mate, when Vissera was by his side, Unscathed, Undamaged. The beast I know would have made her his hunt. This littlest humane part was the way he fought to own Vissera, The way he went the human route by actually speaking words with me Instead of spilling blood, and also taking my entourages hostage not making them corpses. The Cone Brackenridge I know would not leave, he would take what he wants with bloodshed, and everyone in this moonspire would be his victim..But he restrained himself? And left the moonspire peaceful? Even though the people are almost lifeless with pent-up breath of his beastly destruction. What in the gods' names has tamed him? Was it her? I glanced at Vissera, could she be the balm for his chaos? The though

The girl Chloe is truly talented at least." Sebastian should respect Zayne's code of conduct that he doesn't like girls; why will he sign a girl to his record label? This will probably bring more hatred for girls; we just have to leave him now till he feels a thing for girls."You should get used to me by now that I don't mince words. “Note:- Chapter will be Fixed”Chloe's POV: I finished my work for today, and I bade Ella goodbye and left for my home. I bade the security man as well; I stopped a cab, and it waited, and I entered. It carried me to the address I gave him, which was my home. I walked to our house door, pressed the doorbell, and it rang, and Nicki rushed out as she almost bumped into me. She looks stuffy as she stuck chicken's lap in her mouth. "Huh, welcome, miss," Nicki said. "Thanks," I said with a smile. "Where's sister? "I asked, "I'm here; welcome, she said as she stepped out of her room. "How was the work? "She asked, "Good." I said as I quickly remembered the memories I see lately, "Sis, I'm confused about something that happens to me lately, I said, "Huhh??!! What's that?" she asked with a worried face. "I usually see someone else's memory lately," I said. "Hmm!! Was that not imagination? Or reflection to the stories you've read," she said. "No,not at all." "Really?? "Yes, I'm sure," I sa
AVA KILLIAN Ava’s heart thudded against her ribcage as Kaila stepped further into the room.Kaila's gaze swept over the lively scene—the children engaging, Axel standing tall with his stoic calm, and Ava still clutching Darcy protectively in her arms.Kaila’s lips curled into a polite smile, but her eyes glittered with something darker, Just yesterday Kaila had humiliated her with Old Nan Yenn, that they made her question her own sanity. Is she here to complete the disdain, or is she here to check if she had killed herself and end the supposed madness? Anger crackled through Ava's heart.“What a lovely sight,” Kaila said, her tone warm and deceiving, Ava could see through her hypocritical tone, “It’s good to see the children so full of life, isn’t it, Ava?”Ava stiffened. There was a deliberate sharpness to Kaila’s words, like she had something up her sleeve, Ava needed no one to tell her Kaila had something on her for her to visit her room in the first place.Kaila turned to Axel,
AVA KILLIAN Ava felt the deep feeling of being used, a deep feeling of being cheated; anger boiled in her, but at the same time she felt helpless. What gnawed at her inside was the fact that she had thought Jared was genuinely nice to her; it hurts to see he never was. It hurts to realise he had put on that mask and waited for her weakness in order to penetrate. He was a predator. It shouldn't have been him. Ava strutted through the palace, and eyes were on her, their whispers trailing her like ghosts, but their pressing glare wasn't what concerned her now; let them watch, let them judge; she had a bigger demon to face. On reaching her room, her fingers trembled slightly against her cold doorknob as she twisted and opened it; at least she could lock herself in her room, alone, and cry till there were no tears left to cry. Instead, she was met with a sight that she would never expect; she'd never anticipated this. Alpha Axel sat comfortably on her bed, ease with a loving war
