AXEL VOSS

The bathtub filled with cold freezing water, The huge blocks of ice floating on the surfaces, the ice clinked as it shifted, cracking under the surface of the overflowing tub.

It gradually melts into the water also fills the bathtub more and it spills to the ground, Alpha Axel submerged himself under the bathtub, one wouldn't know there was a living being under this freezing cold water.

His skin pale, lips tinged blue. For thirty minutes, he remained still, His muscles tightened as the cold gnawed him, dulling everything else.

He regularly forces himself into the cold freezing water, the shock and cold numbness of his body taking away the heaviness of his emotions, Perhaps it ease the heaviness of his sleep deprivation a little bit which makes him feel unattached and regularly unimpressed.

Until the air bubbles starts floating on the surfaces, Henri noticed the king was losing his breath scared to death he attempted to help him, "May I help you my king?" Henri asked,

Axel surfaced briefly, his breath sharp and jagged, before sinking back under, letting the icy numbness drown out the sleepless weight that pressed against him day and night.

"Where is Ava?" He asked, his voice grave and low, As he stood up from the bath, Henri immediately patted his toned naked body dry, and wore him his long bath robe.

"I've ordered the princess to be brought here few minutes ago, she should be in your room by now." Henri said, as he followed the king as they walked through the tiled hallway to his room.

Axel met Ava there oblivion of his presence, since he moves like a prowling direwolf about to hunt his prey, she seems to be fascinated about something, her long silver hair cascading down her back, In her flimsy short shivon was her perfect figure.

She was ethereal, Her tiny waist exuding a sexy allure he hasn't seen in another woman before, the mate bond attraction was pulling him harder since he hasn't publicly rejected her, it was strong and demanding him to pull her in his arm and fuck her slit till it shudders, hot and dripping wet.

But the deep rooted hatred he has for her blinded him at once, she deserves no pleasure from him, he wants to consume her only, that all she feels was pain, and only excruciating pain whilst she begs him for death.

But now she was carrying his child which would render that almost impossible, she was quite important for now, he needs her to breed for him since she was his real mate and of Lycans blood, he prowled towards her so closely that she flinched in shock, She looked in his luminous green eyes which was with apparent hatred, She swallowed as she tried to bow but she was cornered to the desk.

"My king... I am so..." She was saying and his hands gagged her at once, her eyes widened, and her luminous shades of purple eyes glint, her tiny helpless hands holding onto his huge strangling hands around her neck.

She caught some breaths immediately he released his grip, She looked at his face which was expressionless, "You should have allowed her kill me!" Ava said bluntly, her eyes sharp in anger.

Alpha Axel stared at her, his demeanor calm but his expressionless was hard to dissect, one would not know what he could do next,

"Ptffff" He smirked as he prowled back to his long window where he planted varies of plants and flowers, Axel loved plants, the sanity, the breeze and coolness they bring to his disturbed mind, they also help easing his sleeplessness.

"Why? You believe that I killed your daughter! You should have allowed your mistress kill me to" Ava yelled again, Alpha Axel was calm, Ava didn't get the reaction she wanted, hatred was in her eyes.

Axel took a scissors and cut a rose from the flower pot, The stem was so long and the thorns bristling sharp and dangerous, his eyes flickered with something dark.

As he clenched it in his fist, letting the sharp thorns sink into his flesh. Blood dripped, red and pooling onto the floor, his expression remained eerily calm, unmoved by the pain that would make most men wince.

Ava’s breath caught in her throat as she watched, her voice trembling, and his expression remained blankly inscrutable as she rushed to him and grabbed his hands.

“Are you insane? The thorns is hurting—"

Before she could finish, his hand snapped to her neck, fingers wrapping around her wounded throat like a vice.

Ava gasped, pain searing through the half-healed cut, her eyes wide with terror as his grip tightened, suffocating her protest. The more she struggled, the harder he squeezed, his lips curling into a cold, cruel smile.

“You think that hurts?” His voice was low with menacing growl.

"You think that hurts compared to what your father did to me and my family?" He growled, his face contorted with rage..

He saw that she was losing her breaths as he flung her onto the bed. Ava flew through the air, bracing for the brutal impact, but landed softly on the large plush mattress.

The contrast was jarring, like falling into the comforting abyss of soft cloud,

Ava’s body trembled, her throat throbbing, her mind spinning from the force of his dominance. She lay there, gasping for air, as he cut all the thorns into a small case besides the bed, the petals from the rose all cut on the desk, and he was holding the stem which was now a rope.

And all of a sudden Axel loomed over her dominantly on the bed, blood still dripping from his hand, and his eyes filled with the promise of more pain to come for her.

He gripped her two tiny wrist and bound it together with the tight Stem above her head, and her heart thudded with anticipation of the unknown what's he planning now.

And he gripped tightly onto her flimsy gown which already barely covered anything and he ripped it to shred brutally that her two big breasts dangled freely to his domineering glare.

"I have not caused you any pain! My father did and I am not responsible for my father's sins!" Ava yelled defiantly to his face,

This Infuriated Axel more, it was like she was mocking the death of his daughter Alys, it was like she was mocking the cruel things done to his sister, her child and her unborn child, All Axel could see in Ava's face was mocking and laughing at the cruelty her father and his kins did to his family.

This pained pierced his heart like a poisonous spear and madness darkened his imaginations, it wasn’t frail Ava under him anymore, it was a maniacal cruel offspring of the mad king who did vicious things to him and his family.

Axel's eyes never left the mad king, burning with the promise of revenge. Until the pressure of Ava’s trembling body beneath his hands yanked him back to the present. Her breath hitched, the sound sharp and desperate, pulling him out of the nightmare. His fingers loosened slightly, the pain in his shackled wrist seeping through like the 10-year-old memory had just resurfaced. The distant echo of the chains was gone, replaced by the low crackle of the hearth. He blinked hard, the horrible memory of his sister's death dissolving into the pale, frightened eyes of Ava beneath him. For a moment, he stared, his heartbeat still pounding in his ears. The scent of lavender lingered in the air, mocking him. "The mad king's daughter, Ava! I promised to make you grovel for the cold hands of death!" he said. She slowly shifted towards the edge of the king’s bed, which seemed endless to reach since it was such a large bed.She knew if Kaila got to the swords, she would die horribly. Even though she didn’t want this life, even though she wanted to die and pay for all the sins her father had committed since it’s what everyone wanted, she realized she couldn’t just choose to die now. She realized she wasn’t responsible for only her own life but also for her unborn child, her little Lycan.“My little Lycan, mummy will protect you,” Ava said inwardly as she gently rubbed her stomach. AXEL VOSSAlpha Axel caressed the intricate sigil of his pack, which was engraved on his sharp sword hilt: a full moon and a bloody wolf-clawed mark across the moon. He slid it back into its sheath, and Henri bowed slightly as he accepted it from him and immediately placed it on its stand."Your Majesty, I think the Princess didn't do it!" Henri broke the silence as Alpha Axel faced him at once, his glare deep enough to see through one's soul.Henri was his most loyal guard, a very skilled and lethal swordsman from his pack, The Blood Claw. He was an honorable and loyal man; he must have seen something before he said such a thing.Henri bowed slightly after seeing Alpha Axel's predatory glare. "What made you say that, Henri?" Axel asked as he walked toward him."I don't have profound evidence right now, but... but my instinct, Your Majesty!" Henri said, his head still bowed slightly. Her hands shivered as she reminisced about the other night. It was blurry; she couldn’t have possibly done it. There’s no way.How did Alys' scarf get into her hands? What could have come over her to become so ruthless? A child?"Don’t hide behind the cloak of your righteousness. You killed her!" Her own voice spoke, betraying her will. She smacked the table and nipped her hand until it turned red."You killed that poor girl! After all, you are just as mad as your father! You want to escape the punishment of the king so desperately, you killed an innocent child who caught you escaping!" She walked towards her vanity desk and stared at the mirror, her cheeks aching after spending the day faking a smile at the female court."How dare those wretches! AVA KILLIAN Ava’s heart thudded against her ribcage as Kaila stepped further into the room.Kaila's gaze swept over the lively scene—the children engaging, Axel standing tall with his stoic calm, and Ava still clutching Darcy protectively in her arms.Kaila’s lips curled into a polite smile, but her eyes glittered with something darker, Just yesterday Kaila had humiliated her with Old Nan Yenn, that they made her question her own sanity. Is she here to complete the disdain, or is she here to check if she had killed herself and end the supposed madness? Anger crackled through Ava's heart.“What a lovely sight,” Kaila said, her tone warm and deceiving, Ava could see through her hypocritical tone, “It’s good to see the children so full of life, isn’t it, Ava?”Ava stiffened. There was a deliberate sharpness to Kaila’s words, like she had something up her sleeve, Ava needed no one to tell her Kaila had something on her for her to visit her room in the first place.Kaila turned to Axel,

AVA KILLIAN Ava felt the deep feeling of being used, a deep feeling of being cheated; anger boiled in her, but at the same time she felt helpless. What gnawed at her inside was the fact that she had thought Jared was genuinely nice to her; it hurts to see he never was. It hurts to realise he had put on that mask and waited for her weakness in order to penetrate. He was a predator. It shouldn't have been him. Ava strutted through the palace, and eyes were on her, their whispers trailing her like ghosts, but their pressing glare wasn't what concerned her now; let them watch, let them judge; she had a bigger demon to face. On reaching her room, her fingers trembled slightly against her cold doorknob as she twisted and opened it; at least she could lock herself in her room, alone, and cry till there were no tears left to cry. Instead, she was met with a sight that she would never expect; she'd never anticipated this. Alpha Axel sat comfortably on her bed, ease with a loving war

She could remember the heat, the desperation, the way she was touching herself. It was all vivid, raw, and wild. But when she looked down, her breath hitched. She was completely naked. Her heart leapt into her throat as she scanned her body. There were faint marks across her skin—reddened patches along her neck and thighs, subtle impressions of fingers, mouthing, and nibbling.Ava’s jaw dropped as the memory came back clearly. A man came in. She saw Alpha Axel—he looked godly, like he was in her dream, coming to rescue her.But no… This wasn’t a dream. This was real. The memories returned in detail: this man’s lips trailing across her body, his hands gripping her waist, the raw connection of flesh and heat. It was definitely

AVA KILLIAN"I should have calmed. I should have... No." Ava panicked as she paced up and down her room. Jared just stood there, watching how pretty she looked. Even in her panicked state, she still exuded this allure that sent any man into a dreamlike trance. She was dangerously alluring. "I kicked the King. I kicked the Alpha King of the Realm. Do you know what that means, Jared?" "Execution, I’d be executed!” Ava’s weary voice broke out. "Calm down and take a deep breath. I know how you must feel now. But trust me, you could have been executed in that instant. If anyone even attempts to hurt the King, they get executed on the spot. But you actually did hurt the King, and Ser. Henri left you unscathed? You should still have hope," Jared said. Her eyes remained defiant; she wouldn’t falter or give him the slightest satisfaction of seeing her cry.“You are now crawling out of your shell, Ava,” he said. Ava smirked, her breath caught in her throat, but it was not as painful as the agony of not being able to see her children.“Does it hurt you so much that you cannot see my children anymore? Or are you hurt that you cannot pass your family’s madness to them?” Axel growled, and Ava was already pinned tightly to the wall. His eyes hovered over hers, domineering and intimidating, but she wasn’t submissive this time. Alpha Axel asked, and Henri nodded affirmatively. "Yes, Your Majesty. He has been desperate ever since you left his territory. My little bird from the Bluemoon Council told me the Alpha of the Bluemoon Pack was Cahir's childhood friend. However, he didn't accept his alliance. The Bluemoon Pack is loyal to you and the realm," Henri said. "You can't totally say that. Childhood friendship is strong. He will falter to his friend sooner or later," Alpha Axel said. "But, Your Majesty, the Bluemoon Pack has been loyal to the House of the Lycans for ages," Henri said. "That is the House of the Lycans. The Bluemoon Pack was once the BloodClaw Pack's enemy. And what will happen now that an Alpha of the BloodClaw Pack has seized power in the House of Lycans?" Axel asked tactfully. "It means we can't totally trust the Bluemoon Pac
