#51 Thinking about the kiss

Mike was through having his lunch with Lara, and he felt so good after kissing her on the lips in his parlor. However, he didn't want to pressure her into sleeping with him, knowing that Lara was a shy young lady. More importantly, he didn't want to be accused of rape.

This was seen as a crime in their state, and he didn't want to lose all his family wealth by forcing a woman to bed, nor lose his hard-earned labor. So, he decided to wait until Lara agreed to sleep with him.

After having lunch with Lara, Mike stood up, left her, and retired upstairs to his room, while Joseph walked out to the dining table to meet Lara.

Joseph asked her, "What's going on between you and the boss?"

Lara was nervous and didn't want to meet Joseph's direct gaze, feeling pinned to her dining seat. She was waiting for Joseph to excuse her so she could exit the dining room and return to her guest room.
