CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Jane could hear the whispering as she and Marcus made their way to her office. The employees were in groups of two or more glaring and pointing at her. She was not invited to the usual Monday meetings and when she had gone for it she was asked to leave the conference hall.

“Well, today will be interesting.” She mumbled to herself when she entered her office.

“Yes, ma’am,” Marcus replied.

Mr. Robert matched into her office with two security behind him.

“There she is he said pointing at Jane.” The two security took a handcuff and went towards Jane. Marcus quickly pushed Jane behind him and stood in front of the securities.

“I am afraid you have to move sir.” One of the who seem to be the boss said in his thick German accent.

“I am afraid I cannot do that.” Marcus retorted.

“What is all this about?” Jane asked.

“You are being arrested for the murder of Suzan Jonas, you have the right-”

“Hold on,” Jane said cutting the security. “The murder of who?”
