Draven.
Draven.I stood in front of the feisty redhead before me, her belly swollen. My brain Couldn't wrap around the fact that she was pregnant, even less so when she stated that the child was mine. How is this possible? Sheepskin had always been my protector during love making but for some reason my ex lover was pregnant with my child. In my shame I turned without speaking a word. I know I should have but I just couldn't, Anna had just been through so much trama. To let her know that I had conceived another child would destroy everything her and I had worked for. I felt lost and helpless to spite that those from my pack looked to me for guidance… I neglected my duties as alpha to deal with my personal problem. I failed as a leader and as the rest of the long cold night passed I sat wondering how I woul
Anna Leigh Panic swept throughout my body, I could feel and hear the blood rushing in my ears like roaring water as thunderous sounds crashed around me in a sea of explosions, I could feel the heavy gulps of breath my lungs fought for, the bile in my throat was making it hard to focus. The chaos around me sent a shiver of dread all the way to my toes, the bodies of people littered the icy ground, rivers of blood flowed free as a fountain throughout the battle field. My stomach began to lurch trying to force out its contents from the sight of the mangled dead all over the ground. The air was thick with the smell of burning steel and flesh along with the sickening metallic aroma from freshly spilled blood. Looking around frantically for Draven was my first task in this sea of misery and chaos but he was
Chapter 20. Lost hopeAnna. I cried for what felt like hours, I felt like I was being punished but I wasn’t sure what I had done to deserve such a terrible fate. In the end I will have lost everyone I have ever loved. I couldn’t help but wonder if I would meet my parents in the afterlife once my sacrifice was done, will my baby be with me or would it simply disappear since it’s so tiny. Thoughts of life after death began to haunt me, I suppose I had been holding onto hope that if not in this life then in death I would get to meet mine and Dravens child. I could feel the tears try to return and I quickly wiped them away. My heartbreak was devastating enough as it was but knowing that Draven would be hurt dearly for this ate away at me even more, I finally decided that Draven will never know of this child, the pain of my death could be too much for him, I didn’t even want to try to imagine how he would feel If he knew his baby was killed as well. So Draven would never know. The a
I stood outside the doors of my parents bedroom, I had noticed that my father was in some sort of distress after his lead general of the necromancer army whispered something into his ear which pasted a look of worry and frustration across his face.Soon after, he reti
It seemed as if hours had passed since I had witnessed the conversation between my parents. My heart felt broken and I was afraid, I didn't want to be married to Colby. Actually to be perfectly honest I didn't want to be married at all. I was never good with boys, though they all seemed to be attracted to me I could never hold a interesting or meaningful conversation with any of the young men my mother introduced me to over the years hoping I would fall head over heels in love which I didn't to spite some of their good looks.
The castle was buzzing with excitement. My mother had somehow managed to turn our large home into the most lovely wedding venue in two days time. Tables were set in the dining hall with the most beautiful gold China and crystals lined every vase, stairwell table and light fixture. White and red roses was expertly placed on every chair, hallway and arch wile the tapestry and table cloths matched in patterns of crimson red and bright white. The alter was a combination of crystals, roses and silk fabric bringing a sense of romance to the room.
Dravens P.O.VRage. Rage is what I feel as mine and my brother's small army rip the limbs from the bodies of these savages. Their army greeted us at a northern shore we had landed on, casting magic to take out only a small handful of my warriors however after their casting they were to exhausted to participate in

The pack generously accepted me with no
Anna-LeighI woke sore but more comfortable than I had ever been, the large muscular man lay cuddled warmly up against my back. I shifted a bit to realize that both of us were completely nude, I smiled a faint smile of satisfaction. I had been denying the connection I felt with Draven from the moment I met him, I believed it was ungodly and forbidden for me to love a wolf but now I no longer cared. Everything and everyone had been taken from me and now with the knowledge the flower sprites bestowed
I could hear the leaves crushing under Joshua's large paws as he sprinted. We were out of time and yet both of us was determined to get to Draven, we weren't going to give up. He was a wolf so just maybe he could hang on a little longer than the average person.I clung to the vile of blood and the mesmerizing book with one hand and ahold of Joshua with the other, I could feel the temperature in the air change and shivers ran down my body.
Dravens P.O.VThe closer we came to our camp the more excruciating the pain had become. Every now and then I let out a groan and my brother would give me a worried look, his wolves yellow eyes filled full of concern. I leaned down getting a better grip on my brother's fur and trying to hold tight to the unconscious angel in my arms.
