Schuyler's P. O. V.

As we entered the plane and it was about to leave the airport, at the corner of the driveway, I saw a familiar figurine and looked at me from a distance. It was Hunter. He nodded his head at me and watched me as the plane left, as if he was letting me know that it's okay and it was the best decision to do at that time. I don't know how he found out, but I knew, by the way he looked at me, he wouldn't say a word to Ezekiel or to anyone else.

The hours of the flight felt so sickening for me. It was because of my pregnancy that I was often in the washroom and had to vomit. And when it was finally over and we landed in a foreign country, I started to feel worse.

“I’ll be accompanying you for your first month here, Mrs. Riego.” Attorney Tim said with a gentle smile on his face. “For now, I think it's best for you to see a doctor first. You're looking pale and I’m not sure if it's normal.”
