Schuyler's P. O. V.

“I’m glad you give it a chance, Mrs. Riego.” The Attorney said to me in a delighted tone. “It took me a while to find your location. I’m sorry for what happened to your parents.”

“Cut the crap! Who are you?” I directly said and he was taken aback by me getting straightforward.

“I am your great-grandfather's attorney, Attorney Tim McGraw.” I nodded at him. “Ten years ago, your great-grandfather passed away, and in his will, your name was written.”

“My name?” He nodded at me, confirming that I heard him right the first time. “What for?”

“His will—”

“Yes, but what is will’s all about?!” I snapped at him. “And damn him! Why include me with the mess of his will when he never even once appeared in our lives?!”

The Attorney thinned his lips, “I apologize, Mrs. Riego, but I can only answer the will’s related questions. That one is too personal and I don't have any idea about it.”
