Schuyler's P. O. V.

“Name?”

I took out the invitation from my pocket before handing it to the guards. They checked something in their system and looked at each other before facing me again.

“This is an invitation for Mr. Clark.” The one stated in a serious voice. “Who are you?”

“I'm Schuyler Savannah, his assistant. Check the list of names tag along with him,” I genuinely said as I reached for my cellphone after feeling it vibrating in my pocket. “Shit.” I muttered as soon as I saw my boss’s call. “Can I come in now?”

When the guards looked back to me, they nodded in agreement and smiled apologetically. “Yes, Ms. Savannah.”

As I walked past them, I suddenly bumped into someone, but I didn't pay it any attention and just went straight inside while answering the call.

“Mr. Clark?”
