The following day, I was rushing to get to the lounge area of the hotel after receiving an early call from Mr. Clark, when I saw him sitting on the couch with his security around him as he spoke with a woman with no interest in his eyes.

But that scene was no longer new to me, because the more I spend my days working for him, I get to understand that he's not interested in being around just anyone else, unless it's for business.

I hurriedly walked towards him and stood beside the woman he was conversing with when his eyes shifted on me.

He frowned upon seeing me catch my breath before he became serious again, “Did you rush here, Ms. Savannah?”
