Beckoning.

Amidst the noise that was making a sound in the pack, I was mute. I refused to attend any celebration that was ongoing. I took that time to hide in the stables. I was inconsequential so no one was going to know that I had sneaked out of this place for a very long time which I was happy about. If there was a better way for me to escape I would.

Well, why didn't I just seize this opportunity? Lamenting wouldn't solve my problems would it? Definitely not. I was supposed to take the opportunity and run with it sharply. It would help me better than anyone.

I looked around and found that no one was watching me. I could just seize this opportunity to run away. If I didn't I would have myself to blame because that would make me lose out on many things which I should have been wiser about. How would I avoid the real punishment without even telling anyone?

Rudy, who had been stopping by all these days, was only happy that I wanted to abscond but he didn't have the balls to give me

Revenge Served Cold. Abigail's POV. One of the things that people didn't put into consideration was the fact that there could be someone else who was also trying to make sure that this was going on smoothly. I was that person. Since my father had decided to be brutal to me, I wondered what kind of audacity he possessed to think that I would be kind to him? If there was no tangible reason for him to call me, why then was he still sending messages that could implicate me? I wasn't useful enough to be Alpha but now he wanted me to help the pack. After all they had done to me? My head was spinning at the sheer amount of ingratitude that my former pack had. If I had my way I would pick Daniel's pack over mine. I didn't know that I was consumed with my thoughts until I felt a hand on my chin causing me to look up. I was wondering where to begin from. This wasn't what we had agreed upon. I was trying my best to make sure that there were no lapses anywhere but they were pushing me. "Are

Letting GoAbigail's POV.I looked at the side and realized that there might be something else wrong with this arrangement. He wasn't going to help me for nothing. He was going to make sure that he wiped out my family but at what cost?I turned afterwards and saw him staring at me wide-eyed. I was wondering what was going on but felt like also waiting for some time. If I could be able to schedule something else then I would but if I wouldn't, I would only acquiesce so that he didn't think that I was trying to play smart. I was unhappy with the words that I heard but I would still as much as possible to stomach it. "You have killed my sister?" I asked him, pretending not to hear the first time "Taken care of. You can interpret it however you mean. Do they know that you are suffering here?" He asked me and I raised a brow in surprise. So he acknowledged that I was suffering. Wasn't he the one who multiplied it. He allowed Laurie to get away with whatever she planned to do while he too

Returning To the Pack. Abigail's POV.I almost burst into tears when I finished letting out the scream. My heart was beating wildly as though someone was hitting a stick violently against it. I didn't know how to feel. All that I felt in that moment was freedom. I didn't burst into tears although I felt tears well up in my eyes, reaching close to erupt from my mouth. I was in pain. I was going through a lot of stress but I held it in. He hugged me tight, catching me off guard because I wasn't expecting something like this. My heart was racing when it connected with him. I didn't know what to make of that moment. Was he also in pain? Was he also trying to cry out but unable to? Numerous thoughts played in my heart but the major one that stood out for me was the fact that there was nothing wrong with the way he was handling me. I couldn't breathe properly. My head was aching from the release that I felt. "You don't need to bother about me. I'm fine." I mumbled because I felt tears

Blame Game"You want to go back to your pack? Is that what you're saying?" Daniel inquired from Abigail whose eyes were widened in fear when she realized what she said. She was not expecting that he would switch up on her that fast but judging from the way things were going, it was safe to say that she had probably bitten more than she could chew. "Yes, why I said so was because I want to be able to make sure that I fight for my right." She explained to him, hoping that he didn't turn the situation around and think that she was planning to run away. Well, if she was planning that, she wouldn't have told anyone what she had in mind. All that she would have done was to make sure that everything was going on well and fine. "Do you know the reason I called you here, Abigail?" He changed the subject and she shook her head. She should have known that he would rather walk through coals than to allow her a moment of breathing space. "I don't know the reason sir." She replied awkwardly so t

Alpha's Request"Oh, really, tell me then, who the hell are the cause of my problems? Can you kindly be of help to me since you know too much?" He slammed me but I didn't fall into that trap of arguing with him. If I did, then I would be at a loss and also would blame myself for taking certain actions and inactions. All I wanted right now was to make sure that everything was going all well and fine. "Do you know what this even means at all?" I replied to him, unable to contain my anger anymore, his misplaced anger was first his fault before anyone else. I didn't understand why he was blaming the whole gender because of a person's mistake. "I was hurt deeply and irrevocably by a male, yet you don't see me talking down on males at every whim just to express my displeasure. What I'm saying is, yes we might get hurt but that doesn't define us if you understand what I'm trying to say. I don't care about others when it comes to this because I know that a lot of people just say these thing

Vengeful MistressAbigail’s POV“Gosh! I hope nobody sees me if not I am doomed.” I bit my lips slightly heading to the Maid quarters while watching my back every second.“Luna Laurie is at the Maid quarters.''My legs wobbled when I heard the whisperers coming from the maids. They were going back and forth, trying to arrange themselves and keeping everything in order because of how problematic Luna Laurie can be. She gets angry easily and I suffer it the most, not like I have any say. “You will get caught.” My wolf whispered and I scoffed, walking quietly still watching my back as I headed to the maid quarters. Luck wasn’t by my side, as I was about to enter the kitchen, I heard my name and I stood in a speechless stupor unable to process where it was coming from. I was still reluctant and continued my journey when two guards grabbed my hands and that was when it dawned on me, I was in a deep shit.“I told you.” My wolf ranted and I groaned waiting on what would happen next. They dr

The Loss.Author’s Pov“Stop being insecure, I don’t know where all these are coming from.” Daniel uttered and walked towards him fuming.“Why shouldn’t I be?You were not like this before she came. You’ve changed drastically, you don’t even take care of me and it seems you tend to forget that I am carrying your child!” She yelled angrily and Daniel groaned frustratedly.“You should know me by now, I don’t know why you are feeling insecure because I have always been like this so stop acting this way, you are not even my Luna yet and you are acting like this!” Daniel groaned and that was it, His last word sank into her head and it annoyed her.“Wow! Now I get where this attitude is coming from, you don’t even care about my feelings anymore nor do you care about me despite the fact that we’ve been friends for a very long time and you don’t even remember the things I have done for you just because you were attracted to a slave. A slave for crying out loud!” She screamed and his jaw tighte

Questioning.Daniel's POV.Immediately my guards brought her out of the dungeon, she was looking lifeless and I frowned trying so hard not to show my emotions but I wasn’t feeling okay seeing her in that state, she looks like someone that would be dying any moment if she wasn’t attending to immediately.“Hand her over to me.” I ordered the guards who were shocked wondering why I wanted to take her to the infirmary by myself, it was something they could do.“I will do that myself, you don’t have to bother.” I added sensing the confusion and surprised look that plastered on their face. I took her from them and headed to the infirmary.“Attend to her immediately.” I ordered and left feeling restless. I want her to be okay immediately and the infirmary would take a lot of time. “Mandy.” I muttered and brought out my phone from my pocket placing a call on her immediately and it rang for a few minutes before she picked the call.“You are not expected to call me, you know that.” She snapped

Abigail's POV. "Look how far we've come, from beginning a family to planning everything as they are. It's been wonderful," Daniel spoke as he walked through the porch. "Is this what I think it is?" I inquired. He hugged me from behind and planted a kiss on my neck. "We've been able to conquer every opposition on our way, and that makes it very worthwhile. When last did you speak to your pack?" He asked."I don't know, they should be fine." I spoke while rubbing my belly softly. "Do you want me to get close to the pack?" He looked at me slowly and shook his head, "I want you to be done with all of them." I smiled at him. "I was thinking about merging the packs together." I told him. "We can do that." She replied, and I looked at him.We walked towards the balcony and overlooked the Pack. Things were really picking up. "Mom!" Raine called and we turned. "Rachel is troubling me!" He ran towards us and I rolled my eyes at him. I didn't think this was possible anyway. "Oh really?"

Daniel's POV. "I can't find Raine!" Abigail's voice sounded with urgency that had me jumping up from bed and dashing towards the door before remembering that I had no clothes on. "He was here with Mace a few minutes ago but now she's telling me that he is nowhere to be found. I have searched everywhere but now my mind is going haywire. I don't know where he is." This was a mess. My eyes roamed across the room seeking an answer to my questions. "Call Macy, I need to speak with her." I replied and immediately switched to my mind link. This had to be done almost immediately. "Jake, tell me what I hear is not true. How the hell would my son disappear from the public eye when you were supposed to keep him safe?" I inquired angrily. "How far I am completely perplexed about the situation. Although I am already returning, I will send out some scouts so that we can get to the bottom of this issue right now." He reassured me. Something wasn't right, yet I couldn't place my finger on it. If

Collaboration. "Are you the person I was supposed to meet?" Laurie inquired from a dark figure that shoved his hands into his pockets with his head bowed so that no one could figure out who he was. "This is not a perfect place to meet. You are only going to land me in more trouble. One of the basic reasons I have been wasting my time so far with you is because I believe you have something good for me. If you know that this request to see me will not yield anything fruitful, then we should both part ways and act as though we have never met." Laurie spoke.Alpha Liam gazed right and left looking for the perfect way to broach his subject without her disturbing him. He had a plan that would be brought to fulfillments if she was sensible enough not to disturb him one bit. "You should be very careful with words as they could break or make you. We are here for a common purpose, the best thing you can do is to be calm about it. I've heard how frustrated you are that your husband or boyfrien

The Return. "Alpha, the pack is under fire." Jake told me and I turned towards him. "What do you mean by the pack being under fire?" I inquired from Jake who was staring at me like I had grown three heads.Jake probably thought that I was losing my mind with how calm I was instead of fidgeting at the way he was acting. "Abigail has arrived." He announced and looked at me warily as if expecting me to say something that he'd not like. This wasn't going to make any atom of sense to him whatsoever."Tell her to come in then, instead of just standing over there. I want to see my kid. Call Mace so that she doesn't miss this lovely opportunity." I instructed him. After discussing with him, he was still looking at me warily but I was less concerned about his stare. He was afraid of Laurie finding out that I had a kid but at this point too, I was also going to introduce her to the pack. My son wouldn't live as a fugitive and all that I want to discuss is finding a better way of dealing wit

Sore Loser.Alpha's Liam strode out of Abigail's apartment with a glare on his face. Who would have imagined that she would turn down his offer after everything that he has done for her? Abigail on the other hand tried to stop him but he wasn't having it. This was one of the issues she had with a lot of men who felt like being helped had to resort into exchanging sexual favors. Alpha Liam threw a bottle of Chamdor on the floor causing it to shatter into pieces. She was an ungrateful b**** that needed to be repaid in her coin. How the hell did she suddenly define her taste after getting everything she wanted from him. Now he was a fool and that caused him more pain than he had ever felt in his life. Back-and-forth.Abigail's POV."Raine... stop that." I called my toddler who was staring at me with a small smile on his face as though he knew what I was talking about. He was so intuitive and smart for his age that a lot of people were envious of him. "Are you sure this kid is almost a year old?" Daniel spoke over the phone when he had me calling him to stop moving his toys around. I nodded then realized that he couldn't see me. "Can't you switch to video calls so that you can see the extent of the mess he made and don't think that I am just making it up?" I inquired. A few seconds later I saw Daniel smiling at me. As though Raine knew that I wanted to video him, he stopped moving around and started smiling at me with a toothless grin."I think this boy is too smart. He knows that I wanted to show you what he was up to." Daniel's chuckle tickled my skin as I listened to his voice. "Are you serious? I was very mischievous when I was also little so I believe it is inherited. My mo

BetrayedAuthor's POV. "Where are you coming from?" Laurie demanded from Daniel as soon as he returned home afterward. "You know better than to leave me here for a while yet return like I'm a piece of furniture." She demanded from him. Daniel paused as soon as he pulled the door open. "Good evening to you too, Laurie." He replied.Laurie refused to take his mode of speech seriously. He was only trying to gaslight her. "Do you realize that there is something wrong with us, Daniel? You don't care,do you?" She accused him but he didn't speak to her. "I am talking to you, Daniel. You won't turn me into a mad fellow! I'm trying to ensure that there is a semblance of order in the Pack but you're going ahead to do whatever you like. How does that even make any sense?" She accused him. Daniel was wroth yet considered their closeness. It was stupid for him to act all angry when it was something that they could just resolve slowly. "You are angry that I neglected you, which I apologize for,

Heartfelt Apologies. Abigail's POV. Meanwhile on the other hand, I watched Daniel stroke Raine's head softly as he looked ahead to see what was happening. "Is something wrong with him? He's been sleeping too much." Daniel blurted in fear. "He's sleeping from the aftereffect of the medications." I answered him, chuckling softly as he was acting as though there was a problem with my son. "Are you scared?" He nodded, "Very. I can't allow any harm to come to him. This is very basic but I believe that we can still do something about it, you know?" "About what?" "Our situation. You can return home with me." He suggested. "Since when did your pack become my home? After I gave birth huh? You've not even ascertained if this kid is yours, assumptions kill you know?" I retorted. He had been acting all cool and kind to me since we met again but I knew how harsh this man could be so I wasn't buying it. Daniel ran a palm across his face tiredly. "Do you realize that I wouldn't be here if I

Lonely Home. Meanwhile Jedidiah had managed to return home but was panting mercilessly as she went ahead to have a discussion. It was crazy that someone would be so interested in rubbishing her when she wasn't one of those girls. It was crazy but she would not take this one bit. Thankfully, Daniel was not at home and he didn't make it mandatory for her to remain in the Pack. It sent the wrong signal to her anyway. What the hell was she thinking about? Didn't she know that he was cruel in the first place? She thought and shook her head.As soon as she crossed the threshold she felt that something was different yet refused to stall further, she headed into the house and was shocked to meet the love of her life smoking."James, what the hell are you doing?!" She fired at him but was greeted with a grin on his face. He had no single remorse whatsoever concerning what he was doing. For all he cared, she was only just acting out of point instead of doing what he should."Do you realize ho
