Alpha's Request

"Oh, really, tell me then, who the hell are the cause of my problems? Can you kindly be of help to me since you know too much?" He slammed me but I didn't fall into that trap of arguing with him. If I did, then I would be at a loss and also would blame myself for taking certain actions and inactions.

All I wanted right now was to make sure that everything was going all well and fine.

"Do you know what this even means at all?" I replied to him, unable to contain my anger anymore, his misplaced anger was first his fault before anyone else. I didn't understand why he was blaming the whole gender because of a person's mistake.

"I was hurt deeply and irrevocably by a male, yet you don't see me talking down on males at every whim just to express my displeasure. What I'm saying is, yes we might get hurt but that doesn't define us if you understand what I'm trying to say. I don't care about others when it comes to this because I know that a lot of people just say these thing

I hope nobody sees me if not I am doomed.” I bit my lips slightly heading to the Maid quarters while watching my back every second.“Luna Laurie is at the Maid quarters.''My legs wobbled when I heard the whisperers coming from the maids. They were going back and forth, trying to arrange themselves and keeping everything in order because of how problematic Luna Laurie can be. She gets angry easily and I suffer it the most, not like I have any say. “You will get caught.” My wolf whispered and I scoffed, walking quietly still watching my back as I headed to the maid quarters. Luck wasn’t by my side, as I was about to enter the kitchen, I heard my name and I stood in a speechless stupor unable to process where it was coming from. Questioning.Daniel's POV.Immediately my guards brought her out of the dungeon, she was looking lifeless and I frowned trying so hard not to show my emotions but I wasn’t feeling okay seeing her in that state, she looks like someone that would be dying any moment if she wasn’t attending to immediately.“Hand her over to me.” I ordered the guards who were shocked wondering why I wanted to take her to the infirmary by myself, it was something they could do.“I will do that myself, you don’t have to bother.” I added sensing the confusion and surprised look that plastered on their face. I took her from them and headed to the infirmary.“Attend to her immediately.” I ordered and left feeling restless. I want her to be okay immediately and the infirmary would take a lot of time. “Mandy.” I muttered and brought out my phone from my pocket placing a call on her immediately and it rang for a few minutes before she picked the call.“You are not expected to call me, you know that.” She snapped

Sticks Don't Break Bones.Abigail's POV.My heart pounded as I darted down the corridor, my breath ragged. I was still in shock that Daniel had actually tried to kill me. It shouldn’t have shocked me as much as it did. I had expected his hatred—somewhere deep down, I knew it was there—but the reality of his murderous intent still struck me like a physical blow. My eyes darted around in fear, searching for a place to flee. The stables!I could hear the dark figures closing in behind me. My footsteps echoed off the stone walls, and the horrifying realization that I might die hit me like a wave. I turned around and saw the shadows approaching fast, gasping as panic set in. No, no, this was bad. I reached the stables and ran inside, locking the wooden door behind me. It was a flimsy barrier, but maybe it would buy me some time to say my last prayers.“Don’t come any closer!” I shouted, my voice breaking as I braced myself against the door. The pounding started almost immediately—harsh, i

Looming Danger.Daniel’s POVI stormed into the stable, my eyes blazing with fire and my heart racing a hundred miles away from me. My body felt warm with the rage boiling inside me. Immediately, the guards noticed my stoic expression and bowed their heads in respect. The culprits were already caught, kneeling down on their knees and pleading for their lives. I walked closer to them, and they gave me space in the middle, allowing me to make contact with one of the culprits. A devilish smirk evicted my lips."Well done, guards," I said. "You can now throw them into the dungeon until you hear my order to release them. They must not see the sun again." I made my order, followed by the voices of the guards bowing to my command. Two of the guards struggled to drag the culprits toward the dungeon. I could hear their faint voices whispering, begging for my mercy, but who were they to tell me what to do? They deserved more than what they were getting. After the culprits' silent voices signifi

Recoiling Hurt.Daniel's POV.Upon my arrival at my border, I saw patrol guards running about and I was perplexed by the sheer disturbance. I gazed around and was astounded that they had not managed to catch the culprit after all these while. What the hell were they now doing?"Can someone explain what's happening here to me?" I inquired and I saw Jake running toward me swearing furiously, well I wasn't happy with what I was seeing right here. Why were they not telling me what I needed to hear?"Why are you all here?" I asked him. He wasn't giving me what I wanted. "Don't tell me that those people have escaped." I chuckled and they kept on staring at me like I was speaking to myself. Well, I think I needed to do something about this. "Alpha, we chased them to the border but we weren't able to catch them, it was as though they disappeared without a trace, sir." Jake came to their rescue.I chuckled darkly. There was no way that rogues could slip in and out without any traces unless t

Outsmarted.Author's POV.Abigail circled Daniel who allowed her to have the stage because he already has something in store for her which he bet that she would never expect. "I see that a lot of you are enjoying the show right?" He asked and the pack responded with affirmative nods. That helped to spur the moment and he was happy to have a worthy challenger. The anger in her eyes was a propelling force that he commended. Sometimes things like this were needed. Abigail wasn't seeing him at that point, she was seeing a tyrant who she had to take out. It was almost as though something else had taken a hold of her and she didn't have a choice but to stare and hope that he didn't move away because she was ready to fight him to the finish. "You don't worry about me anymore, I will be fine." She told herself. "I will not be here and watch someone try to ruin me and pull me down when I can just go ahead and do what I want to do without any issues whatsoever." She also told herself before

Abigail's POV. "Look how far we've come, from beginning a family to planning everything as they are. It's been wonderful," Daniel spoke as he walked through the porch. "Is this what I think it is?" I inquired. He hugged me from behind and planted a kiss on my neck. "We've been able to conquer every opposition on our way, and that makes it very worthwhile. When last did you speak to your pack?" He asked."I don't know, they should be fine." I spoke while rubbing my belly softly. "Do you want me to get close to the pack?" He looked at me slowly and shook his head, "I want you to be done with all of them." I smiled at him. "I was thinking about merging the packs together." I told him. "We can do that." She replied, and I looked at him.We walked towards the balcony and overlooked the Pack. Things were really picking up. "Mom!" Raine called and we turned. "Rachel is troubling me!" He ran towards us and I rolled my eyes at him. I didn't think this was possible anyway. "Oh really?"

Daniel's POV. "I can't find Raine!" Abigail's voice sounded with urgency that had me jumping up from bed and dashing towards the door before remembering that I had no clothes on. "He was here with Mace a few minutes ago but now she's telling me that he is nowhere to be found. I have searched everywhere but now my mind is going haywire. I don't know where he is." This was a mess. My eyes roamed across the room seeking an answer to my questions. "Call Macy, I need to speak with her." I replied and immediately switched to my mind link. This had to be done almost immediately. "Jake, tell me what I hear is not true. How the hell would my son disappear from the public eye when you were supposed to keep him safe?" I inquired angrily. "How far I am completely perplexed about the situation. Although I am already returning, I will send out some scouts so that we can get to the bottom of this issue right now." He reassured me. Something wasn't right, yet I couldn't place my finger on it. If

Collaboration. "Are you the person I was supposed to meet?" Laurie inquired from a dark figure that shoved his hands into his pockets with his head bowed so that no one could figure out who he was. "This is not a perfect place to meet. You are only going to land me in more trouble. One of the basic reasons I have been wasting my time so far with you is because I believe you have something good for me. If you know that this request to see me will not yield anything fruitful, then we should both part ways and act as though we have never met." Laurie spoke.Alpha Liam gazed right and left looking for the perfect way to broach his subject without her disturbing him. He had a plan that would be brought to fulfillments if she was sensible enough not to disturb him one bit. "You should be very careful with words as they could break or make you. The Return. "Alpha, the pack is under fire." Jake told me and I turned towards him. "What do you mean by the pack being under fire?" I inquired from Jake who was staring at me like I had grown three heads.Jake probably thought that I was losing my mind with how calm I was instead of fidgeting at the way he was acting. "Abigail has arrived." He announced and looked at me warily as if expecting me to say something that he'd not like. This wasn't going to make any atom of sense to him whatsoever."Tell her to come in then, instead of just standing over there. I want to see my kid. Call Mace so that she doesn't miss this lovely opportunity." I instructed him. After discussing with him, he was still looking at me warily but I was less concerned about his stare. He was afraid of Laurie finding out that I had a kid but at this point too, I was also going to introduce her to the pack. My son wouldn't live as a fugitive and all that I want to discuss is finding a better way of dealing wit

Back-and-forth.Abigail's POV."Raine... stop that." I called my toddler who was staring at me with a small smile on his face as though he knew what I was talking about. He was so intuitive and smart for his age that a lot of people were envious of him. "Are you sure this kid is almost a year old?" Daniel spoke over the phone when he had me calling him to stop moving his toys around. I nodded then realized that he couldn't see me. "Can't you switch to video calls so that you can see the extent of the mess he made and don't think that I am just making it up?" I inquired. A few seconds later I saw Daniel smiling at me. As though Raine knew that I wanted to video him, he stopped moving around and started smiling at me with a toothless grin."I think this boy is too smart. He knows that I wanted to show you what he was up to." Daniel's chuckle tickled my skin as I listened to his voice. "Are you serious? BetrayedAuthor's POV. "Where are you coming from?" Laurie demanded from Daniel as soon as he returned home afterward. "You know better than to leave me here for a while yet return like I'm a piece of furniture." She demanded from him. Daniel paused as soon as he pulled the door open. "Good evening to you too, Laurie." He replied.Laurie refused to take his mode of speech seriously. He was only trying to gaslight her. "Do you realize that there is something wrong with us, Daniel? You don't care,do you?" She accused him but he didn't speak to her. "I am talking to you, Daniel. You won't turn me into a mad fellow! I'm trying to ensure that there is a semblance of order in the Pack but you're going ahead to do whatever you like. How does that even make any sense?" She accused him. Daniel was wroth yet considered their closeness. It was stupid for him to act all angry when it was something that they could just resolve slowly. "You are angry that I neglected you, which I apologize for,

Heartfelt Apologies. Abigail's POV. Meanwhile on the other hand, I watched Daniel stroke Raine's head softly as he looked ahead to see what was happening. "Is something wrong with him? He's been sleeping too much." Daniel blurted in fear. "He's sleeping from the aftereffect of the medications." I answered him, chuckling softly as he was acting as though there was a problem with my son. "Are you scared?" He nodded, "Very. I can't allow any harm to come to him. This is very basic but I believe that we can still do something about it, you know?" "About what?" "Our situation. You can return home with me." He suggested. "Since when did your pack become my home? After I gave birth huh? You've not even ascertained if this kid is yours, assumptions kill you know?" I retorted. He had been acting all cool and kind to me since we met again but I knew how harsh this man could be so I wasn't buying it. Daniel ran a palm across his face tiredly. "Do you realize that I wouldn't be here if I

Lonely Home. Meanwhile Jedidiah had managed to return home but was panting mercilessly as she went ahead to have a discussion. It was crazy that someone would be so interested in rubbishing her when she wasn't one of those girls. It was crazy but she would not take this one bit. Thankfully, Daniel was not at home and he didn't make it mandatory for her to remain in the Pack. It sent the wrong signal to her anyway. What the hell was she thinking about? Didn't she know that he was cruel in the first place? She thought and shook her head.As soon as she crossed the threshold she felt that something was different yet refused to stall further, she headed into the house and was shocked to meet the love of her life smoking."James, what the hell are you doing?!" She fired at him but was greeted with a grin on his face. He had no single remorse whatsoever concerning what he was doing. For all he cared, she was only just acting out of point instead of doing what he should."Do you realize ho
