Gus led me into a colorful building that reminded me of the eateries at the city.

Outside, right at the top of the building was a pretty sign that read, Soul food. Immediately, the smell of spices, beef and flour caressed my nostrils and going right to my stomach. I felt my stomach rumble and a hunger I didn't realize was there, reared up it's head. I was salivating like I'd been starved for centuries.

I swallowed. "Wow. Temptation has never felt so real."

Gus laughed. "My dear, this is the reason why I left home."

I turned to face him. "You don't live here in Titan?"

He nodded, his eyes searching around. "No I don't, I'm here for the state of emergency. Mom basically makes me fatten up like a priced cow."

"Priced cow? Really child?" A voice interrupted us, causing me to look up.

An older but attractive woman stood before us, her silky blonde hair held in a tight bun while an apron was tied around her.
