By the time I was done with my last lecture for the day, the once quiet house was buzzing with good natured noise.

Curious and bored of being by myself, I switched my comfortable clothes which was a sweat pants and tank top which I wore after taking a quick shower when I and Aiden had put the office in a conducive shape and changed to something presentable.

By something presentable, I meant one of my newest skinny jeans and an emerald crop-top.

I reddened as I remembered Aiden's comment of green being my color since it matched my eye color and brought out it's beauty.

I snapped sense into my brain.

After our conversation at the office which started off as light and friendly to straight up awkward, we had continued working in silence.

Honestly, I didn't know how to act around him. It was like everything we said always came back to talks about mates and that was awkward as hell.

Walking by the floor length mirror in my room, I noticed my hair was an image of a poorly crafted bird nest.
