THE PREVIOUS DAY.

Trent was posting another of the unaware photos he had of Cassie when he heard Misty drive her car into the Silverwood estate, speeding recklessly down the driveway.

He watched her from the window and sighed. He could tell by the way she was driving that she was extremely angry.

Trent thought to himself that Misty was definitely going to yell at him about something, but he had no idea what it could be. He sat down in his chair and waited for her to come inside.

Misty came into the room, and Trent could see that she was even angrier than he had thought. She was also hurt, and Trent was shocked when he saw her face. Her skin was red and swollen, and she had blisters on her cheeks and forehead.

Trent asked Misty what had happened to her, but he could tell she was too angry to talk.
