Serene Cooked.

A few minutes after Serene had entered the kitchen, a light aroma filled the kitchen and flowed into the living room. Steve inhaled that sweet savory scent and raised his head, he subconsciously looked in the direction where the smell could be traced from. The last time he smelt something so good was before his last housekeeper retired.

He felt a great urge to step into the kitchen to see for himself what the woman was cooking but he controlled the urge and sat still. He tried to ignore the scent that filled his nose by reading through his emails but his stomach could not help but let out an embarrassing groan. From the look of things, it seemed he had not eaten anything good lately and the good smell of whatever Serene was cooking was making his mouth water.
