Liam P.O.V. Waking in a guest room without my beautiful wife to be is a bit strange. For as long as Maddie has lived here, we have slept in the same bed. Never missing a night. Maddie P.O.V.When we went our separate ways last night I dreaded sleeping without Liam. I know it’s tradition, and I believe in them, but this one just sucks so bad. We have slept together, in the same bed, since I got to the pack. If we didn’t go to bed at the same time, we still woke up together and vice versa. I got to our room and when I opened the door, the girls were in there with snacks, drinks and games. Push up mattresses on the floor and something paused on the TV. I stop dead in my tracks, looking at them really confused. “What are you doing here girls?” I ask, a small smile creeping on my lips. I have a feeling what they are doing here, and if I am right, I need to mindlink their poor mates and apologize. “Duh! We are not going to let you sleep alone tonight! We are going to stay here with you.” Sophie declares and the other nods. Something heavy disappears from my heart and shoulders. Liam P.O.V.“Are you ready, Alpha?” The priest asks, and I give him a nervous smile. “To be honest, I am not totally sure. But I’m ready to have Maddie as my wife. Maddie P.O.V.Thinking back to my wedding night always brings a smile to my face. People were having such a good time, and everyone seemed happy to celebrate with us. Liam was so attentive, and when he wasn’t dancing with his mom, my mom, his sister or some other female relative, he was by my side. But I was also a wanted woman, and I danced the night away with all of the guys, including my handsome husband. Baby kept kicking, and I couldn't have written it better myself. Liam P.O.V.A few months later “OUT OF MY WAY! COMING THROUGH!” “ARGH!” I ran through the packhouse with Maddie in my arms. Her water broke in our room, and immediately after that the contractions hit. I run past Kendrick and Clara. ‘I’m getting her baby bag, just get my girl to the hospital safely. Ken is on his way with Mason.’ Clara mindlinks me as I turn the corner rushing into the hospital. “Alpha, in here.” Doc beckons me down the hall as Kendrick and Mason catch up with me. Doc just looks at them with her eyebrow raised. “Unless you want to see private parts of the Luna, I suggest you leave and wait in the waiting room Beta and Gamma.” I immediately growl, and the guys hurriedly disappear out into the hall again, closing the door behind them. Maddison P.O.V. 2 years later “Micha Liam Blackmoon Nox, get back right this instant!” I yell down the hallway, shaking my head and chasing the naked toddler who is cackling like a madman. “Nooo!” He squeals, making a break for the stairs. I snatch him around his belly, lifting him into the air and dragging him back to the room. “Noo, momma. Bad momma! Unca Baller, unca Baller..” The kids whales, trying to break free from my one arm hold. He knows his uncle Balder and auntie Lillie are here, and he does not care to get dressed before greeting them. They are by far his favorite people, which kinda breaks Liam’s heart. I just find it incredibly funny. Back at the room Liam is bathing our twin girls - Mirage and Layla. They are one and a handful with Micha turning 2 today. “Baby, you need to get dressed before you can go see uncle Balder and aunt Lillie.” I tell Micha sternly, putting him on the change table. She had her brother instated as the new Alpha our MY pack, she took MY man and she had the audacity to be fucking smug about it! I want to scream, but it does not do anything to remove the shitty feeling of being out in the cold - literally.I quickly learned that Tywin has been banished from his pack and removed as Alpha, although he had given the title to his son to dodge any blowback, mainbitch Maddison made sure he was removed as former Alpha as well. All of them here think I am specifically on their side, but Maddie knows I am only ever on hers. She saved me when everything with the Coven we were visiting went down, and healed me despite the fact I had fought for the other side. She said she sensed I wasn’t a bad person and more or less had been forced to do something and she was right. They had held my siblings in captivity back at the Coven house, saying it didn’t matter if we were Coven members or visiting or not. Maddie saved our lives and I will follow her to the realm of the underworld and back again without question, so when she came to me with this mission right after we discovered where Jessica and Tywin were, I quickly agreed. But now the stakes are high
