Chapter 4

“Yes, Donna. We understand. Would you like to help or should we take care of this?”

“You can do whatever you want with these two but you have to keep Julius alive for me.”

“It would be an honor Donna.” Javier says with a nod to Frank and their guards.

The men advance on the outside two and have them drained of blood and dead within 5 minutes.

“Donna, who did this one? That’s impressive.” Javier asks pointing towards Antonio.

Veronica smirks and says, “I did that. He was the one who put out the contract and betrayed the family.”

Both men exchange glances and smile. They motion for her to approach Julius. She picks up the same filet knife she used on Antonio. She twirls it in her hand as she walks towards him.

“Now, Julius it’s just you. So, anything you want to say?”

He says nothing and continues to look forward.

Veronica looks at Javier and Frank and they both nod to her. “We will not stop you Donna.” Javier says.

“I wouldn’t allow you to anyway.” She says with a laugh.

Veronica takes the knife and runs it from Julius’s temple to his waistband lightly grazing his clothes. “Take his shirt and pants off.”

Gavin nods and follows her commands.

“Don’t worry Julius I’ll make this as painful as possible. Have you figured out yet who you should fear yet?” She says in a whisper.

“Fuck you.” He yells and spits at her.

She laughs and jabs the knife into the side of his chest then dragging it down the length of his side making his lung collapse. He coughs and gasps for air before he finally regulates his breathing again.

“That wasn’t nice. There are two things you should know about me Julius. My parents were very important to me. And the other is that I am not a very forgiving person.” She says with a shrug.

“No shit. I had wondered if you would forgive me.”

“Ha funny guy. Well let’s see how much fun we can have, shall we? Gavin, my special blades if you would.”

“Yes Donna. Here they are.” Gavin rolls out a set of different blades across the table.

Veronica grabs a small ice pick and jabs it in Julius’s neck. He starts choking on his blood from the wound. He spits blood down his chin causing it to run down his front onto the ground. She jabs another thin pick into his heart but does not remove it. She allows it to continue to ooze out blood both into his body and down his front.

She then takes the filet knife back out and slices the front of his thighs from his hip bone to his ankles which causes him to scream in agony.

Veronica smirks but does not say anything.

She slices down both arms and then down his torso just like she did Antonio, paying careful attention to keep him alive until his skin is all the way open.

Gavin throws boiling water on him to wake him up when he passes out.

“Don’t go to sleep. We’re just getting to the good part. Now that you are all open, let’s try this again shall we?”

“Did you know who you were coming to kill?”

At first he doesn’t say anything but he eventually sighs and says “Yes of course I knew. The other two had no idea. I had been working with Antonio for a while. He was going to take over your family and then…”

He stopped as he looked to Javier.

“And then what?” Javier asks as he steps forward. Veronica holds her hand up to stop him.

“And then you were next.” He says with a smirk on his face.

“Are you the only ones?” Veronica asks.

“It would be stupid of you to think that we are the only ones who wanted to take over.”

“Who else?” Veronica asks.

He laughs as he says “I’m already dying so I think I’ll take that with me.”

With that Veronica takes his heart and starts squeezing lightly. “You will fucking give me names or I will keep reviving you until you do.” She says in a dark murderous tone.

Julius’s eyes go wide and sighs. “Fine.” He coughs then says, “I will only talk if everyone else is out besides you and the Jefe here.”

Veronica nods to Gavin. He ushers everyone out and away from the room.

“Are you happy now?” Veronica asks with a smirk.

“I don’t know positions or anything on your end Donna but I do know names as we have met with a few of them. On our side there is Diego, Santo, and Miguel. On your side there is Curtis, Dante, Leo, and Sophia.”

“What was the next step? Did you have any back up plans?”

“The back up plans were only if the Don was still alive. We hadn’t fully planned the Jefe side yet. They were all supposed to take up boss positions after the takeovers. Then start pushing businesses and alliances through the cartel.”

“Is that all?”

“Yes, Donna. That’s all that we had talked about.”

“What about the unknown contact Antonio texted?”

“I don’t know who that is. I know there is someone behind everything from above but I honestly don’t know who the person is. I just know most of our orders come from Mexico.”

“Now what do we do with you?” Javier asks.

Veronica grabs Julius’s heart and squeezes it then rips it out of his chest. “Nothing because he fucking killed my parents. The real question is what are we going to do with the other traitors?”
