Chapter 100

He pulls Vicente and Gavin to the front of the plane. They pull the dead pilots out of the cockpit and Luis gets into the captain’s chair and Gavin into the co-pilots chair.

Luis shuts off the auto pilot and flies the plane back to the regular path they need to go to Newark.

Veronica is crying in the back as Vicente holds her and Hector looks on at the door of the cockpit. He knows that Luis can fly but didn’t think he would be able to handle this big of a plane.

“Hector I need you to make sure that Veronica is okay. We can handle this.”

“Yes, Jefe.”

Hector heads back to where Veronica is. She is crying uncontrollably.

“Jefa. It’s okay El Jefe knows how to fly. Him and Gavin have control now and we will be okay.”

Veronica looks up at him through her tear-filled eyes. When she realizes that the plane is no longer shaking she stands up and runs to the cockpit.

“Baby are you okay?” Luis asks. Worry evident in his tone.

“You are truly amazing my love.” She says with a wide smile on her fa
