Chapter 80

The past weeks have been going smoothly and everything seems to be back to normal. I’m not going to lie, I felt more at peace for some reason after Jethro and Amice’s death. Jethro’s family was sent out of the castle after his eldest son was punished for disobeying the curfew. Grace said she never knew Amice was up to something and deeply apologized. I knew it was a crime to try and take out a leader or his mate. But I was expecting Grace to be sad that her granddaughter is dead or better still blame me for the cause of it but that wasn’t the case. Although she was sad about her granddaughter’s death, she made sure to apologize for the shame Amice brought on her and cleared her name and of course, Keanu didn’t hold it against her.

Keanu has been traveling a lot within these past few weeks and I haven’t been able to spend quality time with him. Hopefully, he’ll be back today and I can’t wait, I’ve missed him a whole lot.
