It was an era where the lands were ruled by strong ones. The strong ones dominated and the weaker ones stayed dominated. There was always a fight for power as everyone wanted to be the strongest ones and was hungry for power. It was the situation of the survival of the fittest. Only the strongest ones survived. The land was divided into three large parts which were ruled by the three strongest kingdoms. They were equal in terms of power and were always on each other's guards. If there were to be war between these three kingdoms, they would be destroying themselves. The smaller kingdoms under their pressure stayed far away from those three kingdoms' political matters and remained neutral. They didn't want to offend those powerhouses.
These three biggest kingdoms were The Raven kingdom, The Falcon kingdom, and The Wallace kingdom. These three kingdoms ruled their territory and rarely intervened in other kingdoms' matters. The eastern part of the land was ruled by the Wallace kingdom. Its capital was Wakefield and was the smallest among those three kingdoms. Although it was the smallest, it was a very beautiful kingdom. Being in the eastern part of the land was their biggest advantage, The weather was very much favourable for agriculture. Being rich in agriculture, they would export their agricultural products to the neighbouring kingdoms. The people of this kingdom were said to be the most beautiful among those three kingdoms. There was a rumour that the princess of the Wallace kingdom was the most beautiful woman in the land. None could compete with her beauty and she looked heavenly.
Then came the Falcon kingdom. This kingdom ruled the western part of the land. As the name of their kingdom is a falcon, this kingdom was the fastest to grow from weak to strongest. This kingdom became so powerful that it could rival the Raven kingdom. Its capital was Remington. This kingdom was blessed by nature and natural beauty. This kingdom was also blessed with minerals, especially metals. This one was the main reason for their progression. Being full of natural beauty, this kingdom was the centre of education and arts. The people were highly educated in this kingdom so, this kingdom was known as the kingdom of scholars.
And finally, the Raven kingdom ruled the northern part of the land. Being in the northern part, this kingdom had both advantages and disadvantages. The advantageous part was this kingdom was separated from the other kingdoms by a huge ocean full of icebergs. The surprise attack on their kingdom was never going to be successful. Even if they managed to cross the oven. the rocky and steep mountains made it difficult to attack. Furthermore, they had built large tall, and thick walls around their kingdom which strengthened their safety. And the disadvantageous thing was the weather. The weather was mostly cold and it was difficult to farm. They could grow very fewer products. Very few parts of the kingdom had hills and forests. Its capital was called Ransford and was mostly populated. The major large cities were full of people while very few people lived outside the capital and major cities. Despite their disadvantages, they had learned how to survive. Raven kingdom was the most powerful and largest among those three kingdoms and the land.
As there is a saying, to run a good kingdom, a good leader is required. A good leader can change the nation from the ashes to heaven. It was a similar case for the Raven kingdom. This kingdom wasn't always so rich and powerful. They were having a hard time surviving. But since the Kainz started to rule this kingdom half a century ago, this kingdom had never looked back. They started to progress slowly and by this time, it was the most powerful kingdom. This kingdom was very powerful in the military. As they say, the military is the backbone of the nation. The royal soldiers were trained harshly in the harsh environment which made them stronger among the rest. One should always learn to take advantage even in the most difficult situations.
The Raven kingdom had been becoming even more powerful since the new king sat on the throne. It had only been five years since the Raven kingdom got their new king and they had become so powerful that no other kingdom dared to think about attacking this kingdom. After the former king died, the new king sat on the throne of the Raven kingdom at the age of eighteen. After the new king sat on the throne, there was even more improvement in the military, education, and health sectors. It can be concluded that the citizens of the Raven kingdom were living a happy and prosperous life.
As the Raven kingdom was ruled by the Kainz, the name of the king was Raleigh Kainz. As the citizens were living a happy life, they were supposed to be warm to their king too but they feared their king. King Raleigh was the most ruthless king they ever had. He always had a poker face and they would never know when they had offended their king. But also none could deny that king Raleigh was the most handsome and most powerful king they ever had. King Raleigh had piercing steel-grey eyes which made everyone fall on their knees if they stared at him. His raven hair with an undercut made him even more intimidating. He had sharp facial features with a high bridged nose and thin lips which made everyone fall for him the first glance. He looked as if he was sculptured by the Greek god with his tall figure a toned body. He always had that dominating aura whenever he sat on a throne or made public appearances. He was perfect in everything. From sword fighting to horse riding and from ruling a kingdom to ruling everyone- he was perfect in everything he did. King Raleigh Kainz was the definition of the perfect alpha.
Many incidents made him call a cold and ruthless king. Even the other kingdoms were aware of it. His methods of punishment were very inhuman. It wasn't a quick death. He tortured them slowly which ultimately lead to their death. One of the punishments was very infamous. Despite being the most powerful and peaceful country, there were still some internal struggles- the struggle for power and the throne. There would be a fight between blood-related brothers, uncles, and nephews even between father and son for the golden throne. There was a similar case for king Raleigh too. He had a brother who was half-related to him. There was a battle of words and brains between the king and his stepbrother. It was obvious that King Raleigh won the battle. Thankfully there was no bloodshed in the palace. But the peaceful environment didn't last for long.
King Raleigh's stepbrother rebelled against him with his own battalion of royal soldiers. As usual between two siblings one would be exceptionally good at everything while the other one would be average. The rebellion started by king Raleigh's stepbrother was ended by the king himself. His royal soldiers had won against his stepbrothers' royal soldiers. The soldiers who were alive from the battle were given severe punishment. Those soldiers were left naked on the snowy mountain on the coldest night of the winter. There were about five hundred soldiers who froze to death on that mountain. That mountain later became famous as 'The Corpse Mountain'. Even the king's stepbrother was not spared from the punishment.
His stepbrother was frozen to death by being thrown into the coldest ocean of the kingdom. His head was then separated from his body and the body was fed to polar bears. His stepbrother's head was left hanging on the main entrance of the Raven kingdom for ten days. It created a huge buzz both inside and outside the kingdom. They started to fear king Raleigh even more. This incident declared that the king's word was absolute and he was above everyone else. He wouldn't tolerate any betrayal against him and his kingdom. If he could punish his stepbrother that harshly imagine the ones who were strangers to him. Since then king Raleigh was the god of the citizens of the Raven Kingdom. Other kingdoms also rarely intervened in their matters.
Despite being famous for being ruthless and inhuman, it was undeniable that he was the most capable king the Raven citizens ever had. King Raleigh made sure all the citizens were living happily without being unsatisfied. He improved the strength of the military, the education system, and the health sectors. The number of poor citizens was being reduced by giving them proper jobs to continue their livelihood. Every child of the Raven kingdom was to be educated and the adults were made sure they were given jobs. The women were not discriminated against and were given equal rights. The social hierarchy would always be a problem in every kingdom and the Raven kingdom wasn't an exception. The royals, nobles, and rich families lived in the capital, Ransford. There would always be an internal struggle between them although it wasn't visible externally. And this would always be every kingdom's problem.
But the citizens of the Raven kingdom were satisfied. Satisfied with the way their king was ruling and satisfied with their livelihood. They had a portion of food to eat, clothes to wear, and a place to sleep. What would they need more than it? It was already like heaven to him. They would just have to stay loyal to the king and the kingdom. None wanted such life to fade away just because of their greed for a little time. They wanted lifelong happiness. King Raleigh had given them such life. In conclusion, King Raleigh Kainz was both loved and feared by the citizens of the Raven kingdom.
Fortunately, the three powerful kingdoms had made a peace treaty. They had formed a pact not to attack each other. So, there was a feeling of peace, not a bloodbath. The land was experiencing prosperity, not wars. Human civilization was slowly advancing. The three powerful kingdoms solved the matter peacefully and tactfully once the problems start arising. If those three kingdoms started a war against each other, it was pretty sure that it would be hell on earth. There wasn't unnatural death. All of the citizens of the three kingdoms lived happily.
Ransford, capital of the Raven kingdom and the city of dreams. The capital was very expensive and full of riches. It was the most beautiful city in the Raven Kingdom. Being full of the royals. the nobles and rich families, the city was full of expensive things. The city spoke riches. The roads were paved with stones where horse carriages would run every time. The city would always be nuzzling and crowded with beautiful women in the most beautiful gowns and the most handsome men in their most good-looking attires. The beauty of the city was furthermore heightened by the royal palace situated between the mountains which could be visible from the main entrance of the capital. The royal palace looked majestic with a blue and creamy colour. It was so large that one could easily see the balcony of the king's room. Even the large beautiful white fountain was visible. The royal guards would be standing at every corner assuring the safety of the citizens.
King Raleigh Kainz made the kingdom prosper. He also punished the traitors. He was like a god to the poor ones and the citizens whereas the thorn in the eyes of greedy royals, nobles, and enemy kingdoms. Although there was a peace treaty, it wasn't sure that they were staying still. But King Raleigh always assured their safety. Being both hated and loved, he was always the centre of attraction for everyone. Not only by his good looks but by his bravery and wits. King Raleigh Kainz was both god and a demon for everyone who made a rational decision without any discrimination.

The warm winter morning with the gentle rays of the sun was covering the whole Raven kingdom. The kingdom was nuzzling with the citizens doing their own works. With their new king, His Highness Satchell Kains, there was some change in the Raven kingdom. His highness was very intelligent and was sure he would take the kingdom to a new height and make it even more powerful. Everyone was happy and satisfied. On the other side of the capital far away from the civilizations, King Raleigh had prepared everything for his marriage with Ives. He was feeling like it was a dream. Just a few years ago, he was mourning for Ives's death and was alone but now he was marrying the love of his life, his angel. King Raleigh was really gr
It took four days for king Raleigh to get well. He was suffering from a high fever with a common cold and some symptoms of frost bite were on his fingers and toes. Ives was grateful that king Raleigh didn't suffer from pneumonia at this state. Ge was unconscious for the whole four days. Ives always fed him medicines and stayed by his side checking king Raleigh's temperature from time to time. Under Ives's meticulous care, king Raleigh's condition got better and better. Finally, on the fifth day, king Raleigh showed some signs of waking up. Oliver had also left the house to go to the city for his job. So, Ives and king Raleigh were the only ones present in the house. When King Raleigh woke up, his head was still aching and was feeling dizzy. He looked around and saw none
The sun had already risen when Ives and his father, Oliver got ready to set off back to their home. Their home where they had been staying forever. Their own small paradise, surrounded and hidden deep in the mountains. The land free from the stains of the filthy world. The place where Ives's innocence and purity were left behind. They were ready. The king, the queen of the Wallace were sad but they had to let go. Ives had been staying with them for more than six months and were attached to him. Princess Rosanne was the saddest among all of the people. She had truly loved Ives. It was not some childish crush nor puppy love. Ives had really captured her heart. It was hard for her to see Ives leaving but still, she had to let go. She went towards Ives and said, "Bye, bye. I'll definitely not remember you." &nb
Ives was unconscious and was sweating, twitching his eyebrows. King Raleigh was holding Ives's hands all the time like it was the last straw in his life. He was also wiping away Ives's sweat from his face from time to time. Ives was unconscious for a day. It was finally the next morning when Ives slowly opened his eyes. Seeing Ives opening his eyes, King Raleigh who was resting on a couch near to him rushed over to Ives's side excitingly and asked, "Ives, are you alright?" By this time Ives had already recovered his lost memories. So, seeing king Raleigh after opening his eyes made him both surprised and bitter. He turned away his face not wanting to look at king Raleigh and asked, "What are you doing here, Raleigh?"
The new was starting. It was finally the day of engagement of Princess Rosanne and Ives. Before that day, Ives had tried his best not to think about that strange yet familiar man. He always stayed around princess Rosanne so that his mind would be occupied wouldn't wander off somewhere. It is said that the empty mind is the house of the devil. So, he was always around her as if he was trying to compensate her. King Raleigh also returned back to the Raven for some time to recover after receiving such shock. He had also received a message from Prince Satchell to return as the matter was very urgent. He thought it was better to leave instead of getting hurt. Ives was finally happy and was moving on. What could he do? He was stuck in between wanting Ives to remember him and was also afraid of his hatred. He also didn't have enough
