CHAPTER 4

“Stop crying mom, you’ll look like Nadya when you cry.” She chuckled.

“Oh! By the way, I brought flowers for you mom!” I handed it to her.

“I thought this flower was for your girl.”

“It’s for you Mom, you and Nadya are the only women I give flowers to,” I said then smiled at her.

“Thank you, Son.” She hugged me.

“You're always welcome Mom. Thanks for not leaving as Dad did. T-Thank you for everything...”

She’s the best Mom in the world. For many years, she’s been a father and mother to us. She always shows that she loves us. Mom doesn’t get tired of taking care of us even though Nadya and I are not kids anymore.

“Let’s stop this drama! I need to cook now so that when your sister arrives, everything is ready.”

“I’ll help you, mom. What are you going to cook for dinner?”

“Adobo.”

“Oh,” I love adobo.

“Because it’s Nadya’s favorite, and also your favorite too.” Yeah, it is my favorite.

“Mommy! Nikolai, my brother! I’m home.” I immediately looked at Nadya.

“Nadya, come here! Let’s eat now.” I smiled at her.

“What’s that--- woah is that adobo?”

“Yeah, Mom and I cooked that, Nadya.”

“Oh, I’ve been craving this. Thanks for the food Mom and also thanks, bro!”

After dinner, we stayed late at night because we watched a horror movie.

I’m already in my room now. I took my phone when it vibrated.

From babe #11: See you tomorrow, okay. I love you!

I’m about to put my phone back on the side table but it suddenly rang.

“Hey, what’s up!”

[Hey cousin, want to hang out tomorrow?] He’s my cousin, his father is my dad’s brother. 

Well, his dad is a good and kind person, not like my father, who just left us for his wife and kids. 

Tsk, it's not even his own children! If I ever have a child, I love her/him with all my heart, not like what he did to us!

“Hang out? Tomorrow?” But I’m gonna hang out with that babe #11. 

Oh, I can just say that I’m busy! Yeah, use your brain, Nikolai.

[Yeah! So, are you going to come?]

“What time?”

[5 pm, we have lots of sexy foods with us, surely you’ll say yes.] Heard him laugh.

Woah, sexy foods! What he meant by that are sexy girls.

“Make sure that it’s salad, not fatty foods bro!”

[Eyy make sure you’ll come bro, and lastly don’t forget our birthday this Monday. Tell Tita and Nadya to come to visit our house!] That’s my other cousin's voice.

They’re twins, Jeric and Jerry.

“Yeah, I will tell them! It’s already 12 so gotta go sleep now, bye.”

I was about to close my eyes but then there was a knock on the door. 

I opened it and I saw Nadya holding a pillow.

“Big bro I can’t sleep. I’m scared because of the movie that we watched earlier.” I chuckled.

“Why don’t we just sleep in mom's room?” 

“Right! I wanna sleep with mom!”

I grabbed her hand and we went to Mom’s room and knocked, she opened the door and looked at us in surprise. 

“Mommy, can we sleep beside you?” Nadya asked.

“Sure, come here my two babies!” 

We all laughed.

“Good morning!”

“Good morning too, Nadya my princess.” I walked towards and hugged her tight.

“Stop calling me princess Big bro! I’m not a kid anymore. By the way, I have to go, bye--"

“Wait! Have you eaten breakfast, Nadya?” I asked her.

Sometimes she doesn’t eat here, so I need to ask her every day to make sure. I don’t want her to starve while working at that company!

“Not yet bro but It’s okay! I’m not hungry yet.” She muttered and wore her heels.

“No, you can’t leave! You should eat before going to work, Nadya.” I took her bag and crossed my arms.

“But, bro I need to leave now. I’ll be late if I stay here for a minute.” 

I took a deep breath before returning her bag to her. “Okay, go ahead! Just make sure you eat there.” She nods at me and kisses my cheek.

“Mom, I gotta go! See you tonight, bye!”

“She didn’t eat breakfast?” Mom asked.

“Yeah, she didn't."

I spent my time in the restaurant until 11 am. I go home because I wanna eat together with my mom. 

We don’t have maids because Mom doesn’t want to hire one, she said that she can do all the chores.

After eating together with Mom, I hang out with that babe #11 for 2 hours, I guess.

It was late at night when I got home. I’m kinda drunk because those twins got me a lot of drinks.

Damn! They lied to me. They said there are sexy foods but when I come there, there’s only food and drinks, no girls at all. 

Yeah, I’m a fool.

I saw my Mom had just finished cooking.  “Good evening mom!” 

“Nikolai! You smell like alcohol-- you’re drunk!” 

“Ouch! Mom that hurts!”

“Go to your room and change your clothes!” I pout.

“Nikolai--“

“Yeah, yeah I’m going now,” I said and went to my room.

We waited just a little bit because Nadya isn’t here yet.

I told Mom to eat first because I know that she’s already hungry, Nadya hadn’t arrived yet. We’re used to eating dinner together, that’s how we are here.

I went to Nadya’s room to see if it was clean. I looked at the calendar hanging on the side and remembered that next week is her menstruation. I looked at the drawer to see if she still had pads but there was nothing left, so I left the room.

“I’m leaving Mom, I'm just going to buy some pads for Nadya,” I said, then she smiled and just nodded. “And you should sleep now Mom, you look tired,” I added.

While looking for the pads, I noticed that someone was looking at me. Slowly I turned my head and I saw a man--gay he smirked then winked at me.

The hell? Is he trying to flirt--damn!

Doesn't he feel disgusted with himself?! Look at his face! His lips are so red... he’s wearing some makeup?! 

Makeup is for girls only, doesn’t he know that? Oh, right he’s gay! Does he think that he will be a girl if he going to wear that f**king makeup?

“If you don’t want to be punched in the face, get out of my sight!” I seriously told him and he left immediately.

That annoying stupid gay, he’s ruining my mood!

When I went out, I saw two men flirting with each other, and then just a few seconds later the guy kissed the man with him.

“What the f**k!” I covered my mouth as I stared at them.
