Tamsyn's pov

Seven years ago

I sat on the ground a few walks away from our pack as I observed my cousins: Lily and Rose who were our beta's children, novalia, and then Cruz playing all in their white wolf forms.

As usual, we came here after our warrior training to have fun for a while. The Sun was high in the sky and it was my usual day of fun but I felt worried.

As the daughter of the alpha, I trained from four a.m. to nine a.m.But today Mom had asked me to stop training by seven. Weirdly, she asked me to go play.

My intuition told me something was wrong and my heart couldn't stop racing.

My doubt was confirmed when my bestie and cousin: Arden came running our way all sweaty. His blond hair stocked to his face and his bare foot was dirty.

“Tamsyn, the Luna asked you to come back as soon as possible."

“What happened?"I heard Novalia asking. I turned to see them naked and sweaty since they had just shifted to their human form.

“No time for questions. Come back to the pack" he said firmly not leaving room for more questions.

Finally, we headed for the pack in what could be called a race.

My name is Tamsyn and I am from the Blue Eyes pack. It was called the blue eyes pack because we all had blue eyes.

My parents alpha Amadeus and Luna Sia were known for their uncountable victory in numerous battles.

The blue eyes pack is known for their skills in archery, their agility, and their ability to run faster than any other werewolf known.

We followed Arden in silence trying hard to cover up with his fast pace.

As we reached the pack, the silence made me wonder where our pack's members were.

“This way"Arden directed us to the pack house.

Following him as robots, we walked up the stairs, then headed for the entry of the pack house:

My parents stood with their backs to me, in their army clothes talking to each other.

I headed their way my heart beating faster:

“Mom, Dad what is wrong?"I asked worried.

Surprised, they both turned to me their expressions unreadable.

My Dad moved forward and came down to my level his knees touching the marbled floor. Even at that level, he was slightly taller. I lifted my head my face meeting his.

His blue eyes full of tears he said:

“We Will soon be circled Tamsyn and our enemies outnumber us. We don't know what is waiting for us, so you Tamsyn must leave with your cousins."

I remained silent taking in what my father had just announced to me:

“If you are so sure that their army is so large, then why don't we run away together? How can you ask me to leave without you?"

This time it was my mom's turn to kneel before me. Gently, she sent my brown hair similar to hers backward then said:

“What did you learn in the army love? As Alpha and Luna, we took an oath to defend our pack till death. How do we call people who do not take their oath seriously?"

“A coward"I whispered eyes full of tears.

“Yes, love and people of the blue eyes pack are not cowards." Dad finished patting my head.

“But what if I stay and fight by your side?"I asked sobbing. Mom was trying her best not to break down.

They hugged me tenderly and waited for my sob to stop. Their scent helped to calm me down.

“No Tamsyn. You have to be there to continue our lineage in case something happens. You have to make sure the blue eyes pack can live again." my mom said smiling.

I remained silent thinking of what to say.

Before I utter anything, the beta entered:

“Alpha we are circled," he said in a chilling voice causing me to lift my head. I could see fear on his face but I could also see determination.

I turned back my attention to my parents only to see them both smiling as if they weren't going to war:

“We want you to know we love you. In the future, know that everything we did was for your good because we love you. Take this locket and keep it with you wherever you go. Only open it on your 21st birthday." Mom whispered placing the golden locket around my neck.

“I love you Tamsyn, never forget that. As your father, I am proud of all your achievements. You have grown enough to know that we were betrayed by our pack members. Remember to trust no one but your cousins. Most of all remember you are a Luna, and a Luna bows to no one. OK?" my dad asked fiercely.

I nodded my throat dry.

“Now go and know that our pack's future lies in your hands, "My mother said smiling as usual.

They both kissed my forehead and stood up.

Reciting their final army oath, they headed outside the pack house.

I stared at their back as they moved toward our enemies and I didn't realize Arden was dragging me away till he talked:

“We have to go before we are attacked........"

He was interrupted by my mom's piercing scream.

Heart racing I turned to see my mom lying on the floor her throat tore open:

My father's growl of pain thundered silencing everyone:

“Go tamsyn. I love you" dad mind linked to me.

But I was too stubborn and I wanted to see Mom.

Arden stopped me before I could go further:

“We have to go. It won't be long before your father loses control. Our enemies are heading our way."

The roars approaching made me realize he was right. Remembering what dad had said I turned to my cousins. They all had tears in their eyes and were so scared.

I lost my mom and soon dad too because the bond was going to make him go crazy but I had to save my cousins.

“Follow me," I said in a determined voice.

Tears streaming down my face, we headed for the forest through all the shortcuts I have learned over the years in our pack.

The world around us, the pins piercing our bare feet, the leaves slapping us as we tried to create our way through the forest, and the cold breeze blowing through my hair seemed to be nonexistent as we ran for our lives into the wild.

SEVEN YEARS LATER

TAMSYN'S POV

Still wearing my black trousers and white t-shirt, I sat under a huge tree staring at my cousins as they joked around their laughter resonating into the silent forest.

It took us close to four years to finally laugh and joke this way with each other. We had come a long way and we were ready to die for each other.

Reluctant to allow our pack's name to disappear we finally became rogues and swore to revenge our pack's extermination no matter how long it took.

We usually moved to different locations after every three months. The humans made our lives easier since we always bought everything needed from the nearest human territory.

I sat a few meters away from a river and this Forest was not as dense as the usual ones we inhabited.

“Hey guys enough of the laughter for the day.

Time for breakfast" I yelled heading under the huge tree that had become our dining room for the past two weeks.

I waited for them while holding my hair into a single braid. Novalia headed to where she had cooked potatoes with fresh fish from the nearby river. The pot stood on a three-stone fireplace. After serving into the plastic disposable plates, she carried the clay pot to our tent belt days before.

Lily carried the plates with the help of Rose to where I sat with Arden and Cruz. When Novalia later joined us we sat and started eating in silence.

“Cruz your results in training have not been good these days. What is wrong?"Arden interrupted the heavy silence.

I turned to him lifting my brows, he reddened and choked on his food.

“Never mind. We will talk later."Arden said hurriedly.

Lily was about to say something when the phone inside my pocket rang.

Placing my plate on the ground, I held my plastic spoon. Then I retrieved my phone and saw “the council" written on the screen. After a few moments of hesitation, I finally answered the call and Alpha Anderson's gruff voice welcomed me:

“Hello, Tamsyn. We have a mission for you"

I was silent for a moment while the others stopped eating to focus on me. That was typical Anderson, straight to business.

“Hello to you too alpha Anderson. Which kind of mission?"I asked coldly.

“Children have been disappearing and we suspect child trafficking from the rising star pack. We can't ignore it anymore so we need your help."

“What is my mission now?"I asked after a moment of silence.

“Very simple. You go there and we want the wolves that have been abducting children from different packs. Most importantly, we want him alive."

“How many children are we talking of?"

“Around six hundred if we count with this month. It needs to stop before we lose more pups."

“I see. How much will I be paid ?"

“500 000 coins. The mission may be tougher than the last one and you are the only one who can nail the culprit. We can still add if only, you accept the mission"

We couldn't afford to miss this opportunity. The rising star pack is the only pack we haven't visited so far when researching our pack's extermination. This was a golden opportunity, and I wouldn't miss it.

A moment of silence passed before I finally said:

“I accept. Inform the alpha of the Rising Star pack that we will be there by tomorrow morning. Prepare fourteen tubes of silver and ten tubes of wolf bane. Remember to tell them we hate dogs and would kill them without hesitation. If I need anything else, I'll let you know."

He chuckled:

“I knew we could count on you. Your orders would be obeyed immediately. When will the money be given to you?"

“After the mission, as usual, Anderson, "I said releasing a breath.

“It was nice talking to you again Tamsyn" And the call ended. Why was my heart racing at the mention of this mission?

“Who was it?"Novalia in a small voice.

I turned my focus on them:

“The council sent us on a mission in the rising star pack. We have to double our training hours for today. We are leaving tomorrow in the afternoon."

“Oh shit. I never expected a new mission this early." Rose said chewing her food.

“You guys better eat. I will tell you everything about it after breakfast."I said chuckling at their eagerness.

When we discovered that we couldn't live in the wild planning our revenge without actually having money to buy things from humans to sustain ourselves, we finally started working for not only the council of werewolves but other people as well to eliminate any wolf posing to be a nuisance.

We “The blue eyes" rogues finally became the most dangerous wolves known. We achieved all our missions and this was again another simple mission. Nothing could stop us from achieving our new goal.

Turns out I was wrong because she ignored me for the next two days and I realized she wasn't as strong as she claimed.Today I was going to see if she will be that

Her group members were serious and very precise in their way of collecting data. The twins were certainly very annoying with their comments and snarky remarks, but they were also very productive in their work. They had a remarkable way of thinking and that sped up the research and data collection process.I admit that I was a bit reluctant when she proposed being my PA because I felt like it was a trap but then I realized that it was the only way out of this mess. Also the earlier I submit to all her demands, the earlier will she leave my pack. Even though some adults still feared approaching me because of my history of "wolves' throat rip", the pups didn't hesitate and that gave me a weird sense of warmth. The mating rituals had just ended and we were all trying to enjoy ourselves when Tamsyn walked up to me in all her glory wearing a blue floor-length gown that perfectly stick to her body exposing her perfectly rounded ass: "Alpha I would like to talk to you for a moment" she whispered to me, keeping her mesmerizing gaze on mine.
