There is something awfully annoying when you are being woken up by a phone call,an irrelevant one at that.That's exactly what happened to me,I was drawn out of sleep by my phone ringing picking it up I realized it was from the office,there was supposedly an emergency,an investor from another country just showed up and I had to go see him. The meeting was supposed to be next week but he got here earlier and now I had to go take care of that putting aside important plans I made to spend the day with mum.Already dressed and prepared I get into my car after kissing mum bye and sending a quick text to Kayla,since I've been calling her but it has been going straight to voice mail.Driving out of the garage I head towards the direction of the office reaching there in about fifteen minutes,hoping out of the car I enter into the building going straight towards the conference room where the important

Liam's POVToday was undeniably the worst day of my life. I felt like the world was closing in on me and my life was slowly losing meaning. My mum was currently laying in the hospital ward,her life slowly vanishing right before my eyes with the doctors not knowing whether she was going to live or not. I was beyond scared and the doctors telling me to calm down was doing nothing to alleviate my worry but only made me more worrisome. I couldn't help but blame my self for what is happening right now. If only I had stayed with her and had not gone to attend some stupid meeting choosing my business over my mum's health. I should have stayed with her, should have attended church with her and stayed with her to make sure she ate well and took her drugs. It's all my fault that she is in such critical condition. Kayla's POVI can't believe him right now. How dare him tell me to leave. He may not have said it audibly but his actions clearly spoke louder. I can't even phantom why he dislikes me so much, I haven't even done anything outrageously wrong to him so why does my existence bother him so.Huffing I once again flail my hands in the air trying to get a cab at this ungodly hour of the night. Standing I head to the bathroom performing my morning routine before driving all the way yo the hospital to see how my mom was faring.When I left her yesterday night or actually early hours of this morning to come have a good sleep on a good bed, she was doing well and according to the doctor if she kept it up she could be discharged earlier.On arriving the hospital I head straight to her designated room bit I could not find her there.
