My heart leaped with joy when I saw Penny. My little girl rejoiced and came running into my arms when she saw me. I held her in my arms and lifted her up as soon as her tiny body collided with mine.

"I missed you, Mumma," she said and inhaled my scent. I smiled realizing her werewolf instincts were slowly kicking into action.

"I missed you too, sweety," I kissed her cheek and this time she didn't protest. She laid her tiny head on my shoulder and my heart melted. I had missed her.

"I am hungry," she said a moment later. I knew this was coming. Her stomach lets her know she is hungry when sees me. I guess it is some mother-child unspoken caveat. It's a good thing I had already made all her favorites.

"How are you, Eva?" Cora's kind voice reached my ears. I smiled up at her and told her I was fine. I asked after the trip and she told me it turned out to be quite successful. There was a knowing glint in her eyes when she remarked that. Whatever that meant. Nora
