"God damn, this man!" Cesar cursed under his breath, loud enough for Jasmine to hear.

She heaved a sigh and turned to face Damon, who was glaring at her as if her action upset him. Jasmine rolled her eyes in response.

"What kind of requirement can her presence possibly fulfill?" Cindy demanded, her ears turning deep crimson in anger.

"I have selected her as the lead face of our film," Damon answered without hesitation, shocking both Jasmine and Cindy, who had never guessed this was what Damon had been planning all along, despite having asked him multiple times about the lead actress.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Cindy snapped, disbelief flashing across her face. "I recommended Maria, who is not only a talented actress but also a three-time award-winning star."

"The board of directors wants a new face," Damon replied coldly. "You may have a say in company matters, but do not question my decisions."

"You've forgotten that Grandfather also said my consent is required for such
