Daemon and Adriana had asked the witches if they could cast a spell that would render a Fae invisible to another Fae. Amiria thought they might be able to do it, and Delilah asked if I would allow them to practise on me. I could see that Avril was worried about her mate, Tyler.

She told me, "If you would, I would appreciate it. It is not just Tyler's life in danger but also the lives of my mother, sister and brother. At least my brother and his mate are here."

I was more than happy to do since protecting the Fae Royal Family is paramount for any Fae warrior.

The three witches and I went to my apartment, leaving the rest of them still talking around the dining room table.

On the way, Delilah explained, "This is going to take a little while. We will need to meditate and clear our minds. Then Amiria will cast the spell."

Once in the lounge, they gathered around me and stood silently with their eyes closed. After a short time, Amiria began to chant a spell.
