The Alpha's Betrayal

"Pack your things and get out of here! From now on you are no longer part of the Moonlight Pack." Alpha Robin told Clara in a loud tone.

Clara was very surprised by Alpha Robin's sudden arrival in her room. Without warning, he kicked Clara out even though she and the Alpha had just had a little argument last night.

The man was standing tall in front of her, along with a woman familiar to Clara, Susan is the daughter of Delta in Moonlight Pack and the ex-girlfriend of the Alpha.

Clara's eyes widened, "What did I do wrong for you to treat me like this?" she asked.

Clara and Alpha Robin now faced each other.

"I will reject you and make Susan to be my chosen mate. I'm also tired of waiting for you to get pregnant. I need an heir, Clara!" Alpha Robin said again.

Clara burst into tears, while Susan immediately approached Alpha Robin and wrapped her arms around the Alpha's waist without hesitation. She stood right before Clara as if to show her relationship and closeness to the man.

Alpha Robin said again, "I will give you time until tonight to pack your things. I have also provided some money for you to live on for the next few days."

The man had forgotten his promise to be faithful to Clara. He even cheated on her by going back to Susan, his ex-girlfriend from the academy.

"Just because I'm not pregnant yet? How dare you play with my feelings. Bringing another woman into my presence, is that fair? There are still many ways for us to try, Alpha Robin, IVF, medication, or__" Clara tried to reassure her husband, but Alpha Robin interrupted her immediately.

"Or my decision to replace you with Susan was the right one. I can no longer maintain our relationship, Clara!"

After hearing Alpha Robin's last sentence, Clara remained silent for a while, trying to look strong in front of him. She wanted to prove that she wasn't weak and even if she couldn't lie, she was devastated.

Clara was disappointed and hurt. She was also a little worried about the shadow of her future life without an Alpha and as a rejected mate.

Alpha Robin forced Clara to raise her arm, and the man joined his palm with Clara's.

"I am Alpha Robin Lee of the Moonlight Pack and I reject you, Clara Edelweiss, as my mate and my Luna," the man said as he grimaced in pain.

Then Clara replied, though not quite ready, "I, Clara Edelweiss, accept your rejection, Alpha Robin Lee. Our bond is now severed, and I am no longer your mate and Luna."

Then, they let go of each other. Now, Alpha Robin broke his mate bond with Clara.

Mia, Clara's wolf, winced in pain. "Uh, that really hurts!" Her heart felt like it was breaking into pieces. Her knees were too weak to hold her up, and she fell to the ground.

Clara also clutched her chest in pain. The Alpha's betrayal hit her like a punch in the face, but it also felt like her skin was burning and torn apart.

Alpha Robin then left Clara's room. Clara couldn't say anything more. She just tried to hold back her tears. She looked at the innocent Alpha Robin, who had just left.

Susan looked at Clara with glaring eyes. Then she started to say to Clara. "You should never come here and bother Alpha Robin again. He's already mine!" Susan confirmed.

"Really? Are you sure he won't do to you what he did to me today?" Clara replied with some courage.

Hearing this, Susan was distraught and then grabbed Clara's arm so tightly that the woman whimpered in pain.

"Aw... let go of me, Susan!" said Clara.

Susan giggled as if satisfied with proving that Clara was a weak wolf.

"See, no wonder Robin didn't want to keep you. You're too weak to be a Luna," Susan taunted as she pouted her lips.

Clara then looked at Susan with staring eyes. She wanted to beat the woman up, but Clara's physical condition was weak due to the reaction from the rejection process earlier.

I don't know what was going through Susan's mind, but suddenly, the woman broke a glass vase on Clara's dressing table.

Then Susan scratched some of the broken glass on her arm.

"Aargh, that really hurts. Alpha Robin, help me!" said Susan immediately, calling out to Alpha Robin, who had just left and wasn't too far from Clara's room.

Alpha Robin immediately ran and reentered with a panicked look on her face. Seeing the scratches on Susan's hand, the man immediately looked at Clara intimidatingly.

"What are you doing? I don't like the way you're taking out your frustration," the Alpha said.

Clara narrowed her eyes, wanting to slap Susan's face. However, it was useless. Alpha Robin would defend Susan anyway.

"She broke my vase, she's good at acting!" said Clara.

"No, Alpha Robin. She's lying! Please treat my wound quickly, it hurts like hell." Susan acted again, her eyes looking sarcastically at Clara.

"Get out of here! I don't want to see you again. It would help if you didn't hurt Susan again," Alpha Robin growled.

Clara wanted to argue again, but she managed to control her emotions.

"Let's just get out of here. I'm sure this isn't the end of our lives, Clara!" said Mia, the wolf in Clara.

Clara relented and dragged her suitcase away from the house, which had many nice memories of her and Alpha Robin.

Before leaving the room, just outside the door, Clara turned to Alpha Robin.

"I'm going to make you regret rejecting me, Alpha Robin!" she said and walked away.

Alpha Robin ignored Clara's threat, dismissing it as trivial.

Time passed, and night fell. Clara had just gotten off a bus in the Strathcona area. She walked down the sidewalk and suddenly it began to rain heavily.

Instead of stopping to seek shelter, she enjoyed the downpour. Clara let her whole body get soaked while she cried again.

"Aaaaaaa...!" Clara shouted as she continued to cry. She felt sorry for herself for being wasted at this time.

Mia appeared immediately. Clara's eyes were red when her wolf was present.

"We can live without him, Clara!" Mia snapped.

"I love Alpha Robin, and doesn't he love me? But why did everything change so fast, why did he dump me just because I'm not pregnant yet?" Clara grumbled to Mia.

Mia still needs to answer Clara's question. Then Clara saw a car in the distance. She wanted to crash into it, but the car stopped right in front of her.

A tall and handsome man jumped out of the car, opened an umbrella and approached Clara, who was in despair.

"If you die now, the story of your life's struggle will end here. Isn't that ridiculous?" the man asked, his voice clashing with the loud raindrops.

"An orphan like me has nothing to look forward to. There's no place for me to go home to!" Clara cried as she continued to sob.

"Come home with me, you'll be safe." The man said.

Immediately, Clara's crying subsided, and she seemed to find her spirit again.

"Thank you Daniel!" Clara smiled and left with the man.
