Can love be measured by the hours in a day?
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I’ll need him till the stars all burn away
- Where Do I Begin “Love Story”, Gary Valenciano

MONDAY. Tears in Heaven, the novel Infinity is currently writing, has just been uploaded to the website.
And before the new chapter warms up, Pipay and Robin are already messing around at their tables talking about it.
"Did the writer of this story get neglected when she was still a child? Why does she like to make her readers cry?" Robin said those words quite loudly. She is sure that is a comment from one of her readers.
"While I'm reading this, I'm thinking happy thoughts because I'm sure I'm going to cry. But it didn't work. This story is excellent but heartbreaking.”
"I want to tweak the writer for this story." She heard Pipay say.
“Infinity! Come on! Go hide! Your readers are ready to eat you alive!" Robin threatens her.
"If your reader is okay with it, I am glad to tweak you myself." Pipay suddenly came to her cubicle and tightly pulled down some strands of her hair.
“Ouch!” She said while laughing a little. It hurts a little but she’s fine.
"Infinity, that's not the only thing I'm going to do to you! You are such a sadist!” Pipay was still controlling herself, but she wanted to strangle her more.
"Let it go, Pipay. She doesn't want anyone to be happy, so she always writes sad stories!" Robin sat up on his chair with a bang.
Pipay tormented her even more before finally leaving and returning to her cubicle. She couldn't stop laughing. She knew her friends so well. She is used to this kind of situation. They can be brutal sometimes, but they are good friends.
Pipay and Robin are also her little ray of sunshine. She is really ready to quit her job and just be a helper in the monastery. The moment she met them, she got a little fuel to continue what she loved to do. To make stories. They don't know the exact details of her past, but they do everything to make her happy and somehow make her life easier.
The moment she uploads a chapter to her stories, she does not read any comments about it.
It is not because she is afraid of bashers, or she may get upset if she reads nasty comments about her work. She is also not afraid of constructive criticism. After all, they are a great help for her to improve her writing.
She is not reading comments from her readers because she will interpret them as words of encouragement for her. Not for her character but for her, as Infinity.
It may sound pathetic, but those are the words she wished someone had said to her personally.
Writing is her outlet to ease, at some point, the pain in her heart. And when she reads such comments she hopes and expects that something good might come to her. And expectations lead to disappointments. She doesn’t want to be hurt anymore. The world had already beaten her to pieces.
Oftentimes, Robin and Pipay are the ones reading comments for her. These are the comments that have constructive criticism of her stories. She didn't tell them to do it, they just also love to read comments on her stories because both of her friends are entertained when they read her reader's rampage and meltdowns. Feeling joy in the misery of others.
The second reason is that not reading comments gives her the freedom to write anything she decides to happen to her story without the fear of losing her readers.
Of course, there are pros and cons.
The pros are that she writes freely to her heart's content.
The con is that readers usually backlash against her for her "poor" or "inhuman" form of writing. Result? Compared to other The Journal writers, her story, at some point, is trending because of too much backlash.
May it be on social media sites or through the website bulletin board. Often times, it was trending because of how magnificent it was written. But most of the time it is because of how tragic her stories are.
But what can she do?
Pain is part of reality. Part of her reality.
She's contemplating and preparing herself to write another chapter of her story when Louise suddenly arrives, and unexpectedly, with Sir Patrick.
Sir Patrick is the in-training Chair of One Republic Corporation. A corporation that owns The Journal. Among all the companies under the umbrella of One Republic, Sir Patrick chose to focus on The Journal. His reason? He loves literature. His father just lets him do what he wants because he knows this is for a short period. Or so he thought.
And because he is a capitalist, he sees things sometimes from a different perspective. Like now, The Journal will expand into publishing! He talked to different investors about this. A lot of investors were curious and said yes to him. That's why it was made happen.
"Guys! Can I get your attention for a moment?” Louise said to them.
They immediately stopped what they were doing. It looks like the two have something important to say.
"As you all know, The Journal, an online writing site, will now expand into paperback! And as a part of our marketing, the new board decided to make a new tradition on our anniversary. It is a program that will give recognition as well as incentives as price for those who will be chosen from different writing categories. Of course, we will have judges and criteria for these,” Sir Patrick said.
"It will be called The Journal's Award! And every year we have a theme. This year's theme will be…” Louise was interrupted by Sir Patrick. That goes to show how excited he is about this awards night.
“Hollywood!” Patrick said happily, while Louise seemed to be at a loss.
"Please wait for your invitations and no one's exempted! This is a big event guys! All our investors and sister companies will also be there. Let's just say it will also serve as The Journal's official welcoming party with One Republic Corporation.” Patrick happily announces the details of the event, but Louise gets back to her office. Maybe because she can’t stand too long next to Sir Patrick.
Louise is a serious kind of woman. So she guessed that she didn't like parties like that. But she doesn't have a choice.
Some of the writers and staff were also happy, but some were not. Mostly writers who still don’t meet the quota for the month. As for her, she doesn't care. She will not attend.
She looked at her planner, and according to that she needed to write one of the heartbreaking scenes in her story. The atmosphere in the office is a little joyful. She needed to find a perfect place for this chapter.
*** HER feet took her to a place he never thought she would return to. This place reminds her of so many happy memories. Yet the moment she enters the coffee shop, she feels nothing but sadness and pain. The coffee shop used to be her happy place. Her piece of heaven. Not much has changed in that area. The tables have just been added, and the employees have changed, but the ambiance and the feel inside the coffee shop remain the same. Her former university is just 2 blocks away. So many students were there today, some were just chatting with their friends and some were reviewing. She sees herself in them. Years ago. She used to be that university student in that very same spot. She stayed there almost every day early in the morning while she was procrastinating her papers that had to be submitted the next day. She would order a cup of their cheapest coffee and would stay there for hours. This is also the same place where they've shared so many memories. She immediately

Tell me why, tell me why - Do You Ever Think About Me, Brian Mcknight *** THE Journal’s Awards Night is just around the corner, some writers are already busy preparing. But Infinity is not affected at all. It's not because she's an introvert, but she's not too fond of parties and glamour. She is the type of person who likes silence. Peace. Because that is what she's dreamed of having all this time. Peace of mind. She has seen the categories that will be awarded. She is nominated in 3 categories. The tragic story category, which is said by his colleagues, will definitely be given to her. The romance category and the Young Adult category. Even so, she is still actually thinking of ways to avoid awards night. She doesn’t have the slightest interest in attending the program, if only she could avoid her friend before the program, she would. "Infinity, do you already have
*** "WHAT do you think, Felice, Infinity? Is this good for me?" Angelica asked them if the red gown she was holding would look good on her. It has a simple design, but Infinity thinks that it would be a perfect match for Angelica’s complexion. "It suits you, Angelica. All the gowns you wear are good for you. Your complexion suited every color," Felice answered. "Oh no! It is the same with you. The gowns you fit look good on you too. I also like your complexion. You look like Ms. Venus Raj!” "She's my peg for the awards night! Let's go back to the gown that looks like what she wore during her Ms. Universe competition! I think that is the one I would wear! I feel like I am the queen of the Universe!” Both of the girls laugh at their silliness. Infinity just watched silently from one side. She's not out of place or third wheel to the two. She just prefers to be quiet on one side. Her companions know this. Sometimes she laughs or answers when they ask for her opinion. "How about you
‘Cause I wish you the best of all this could give And I told you when you left me There’s nothing to forgive But I always thought you’d come back, tell me all you found was heartbreak and misery It’s hard for me to say, I’m jealous of the way You’re happy without me. - Jealous, Labrinth *** “OMG! Why are there so many people?” Felice asked them nervously. "What is this? (1)KathNiel’s* new movie red carpet premiere? There are also lots of reporters!” Pipay is also nervous when she sees the swamp of people. They agreed to go together to The Journal's Awards Night. First, it's embarrassing to enter the venue if you're alone. But the main reason is to save money on fares. "I didn't expect so many reporters to come. I think sir Patrick went overboard here." Robin was whispering while they were following the asher to enter the red carpet and the venue. "Our platform has also become quite big. Online reading and writing have become popular. I am not surprised if the media is
*** EVERYONE'S already seated in their designated seats. They are also seated together except for Angelica. She was seated at the tables with the higher-ups. The program started as usual and everyone was shocked by Sir Patrick's opening speech. Or because they are not used to Sir Patrick being formal, like now. There were lots of programs before they could eat, and she could hear Pipay and Robin grumbling because they were so hungry. After some announcement, the host opened the buffet, which means they are already allowed to eat. Actually, The Journal doesn't have many employees. But since this is the first event of the company under Sir Patrick, and the news of its expansion into publishing. It was a piece of big news! That is why there are lots of reporters and business persons present who are also curious about the business flow of a writing platform. There are business people who are still thinking about investing in the company and some are already investors. For Infinity, it

People were dancing around her. Some of the writers are also talking about their works and how gorgeous they are right now. But Infinity’s still looking at the void. Suddenly, a hand blocked her vision. The hand is asking her for a dance. When her eyes met the owner of the hand, she was not even surprised. "Why are you asking me to dance, sir? Your girlfriend might get angry." She asked. "Cut the sir out, Infinity. We are practically friends. And Grace, as you can see." He points out in the direction where his girlfriend is surrounded by business people. A real social butterfly, well her name itself rings a bell to any people included in the social circle. “Still, this isn't right. You should only dance with her.” He smiled at her as if she said someth

"How many times have you asked that? Didn't I tell you that I'm happy? Very happy." He hugged her tighter. So she put her head on his shoulder more. She slightly moved away from his embrace. Then she stared at his handsome face. "Why are you asking if I'm happy?" He asked her back. "I am just confirming and making sure. I am just afraid that you will regret marrying me afterward." Tears are starting to form in her eyes. It's official! They are now married! "Maybe I'll regret it because my mommy doesn't like you, and then we get married without their consent. They'll be angry and then they'll separate me--Ouch! M-Mahal!" She didn't let him finish what he was saying and gave him a mild smack on the head. She immediately left and sat on their cute sofa. Sofa that can only fit two. He also followed
October XX, 20XX SUBJECT: Why is that? Infinity Janine Ramos Mahal, I won an award! I don't know whether to be happy or annoyed. Because I was awarded the Tragic Writer award. Pipay and Robin made me stand up because they said that no one could win that category but me. They even say they will fly into a range if I don't win. It’s difficult to live without you. But every day, somehow, it gets easier because I have friends like them. Even though they don't know the full details of what happened to us, I know that they will not abandon me and leave me. Tatay June is like a father to me, actually to all of us. It's sad because he's about to retire, but I know he won't leave us soon. And the next person who will be our editor-in-chief seems good and nice also. I cried while giving my acceptance speech. It’s crazy! I feel like I'm in FAMAS and my story won as best script. I honestly don't even know why I cried. But while I was talking, I remembered you.

Plus the 2 years we were together before the accident.Who could have thought that the decade we are together would give us a rollercoaster of emotions, trials, and frustrations? Because our relationship has been through so much. Who could have thought that we had only been married for more than a decade? He gave a sweet smile to his little sister and kissed her forehead. She was a little embarrassed, but he didn't mind. She looks cute blushing. "Hello! How was your day? He was in front of her door. He had been waiting for this time for a week. But he didn't know why he was agitated. 3 minutes passed when he decided to knock and open the door. He was welcomed by sofas, which looked like the receiving area of the room. At the end of the room, there was a separate room that looked like the room of the patient itself.
