Her mother parting words came to her again as fresh tears brimmed in her eyes.

"Did I hear you correctly, Amber? You want to talk to your mother ?" Janice asked in shock. Amber's mother had been separated for a while now and from her investigations, Amber had despised her mother very much.

I guess at the end of the day a mother's love never fades.

Janice looked at her with pity and then crouched down beside her.

"Amber, as much as I hate you for what you have done to Hannah and all your other victims, I still have a heart and I feel sorry for you right now," Janice said
