“I forgive you.”

From the moment she said those words, my heart lifted.

The smile she gave right after was all I needed to feel a burst of longing. It never went away, but thanks to her at the moment, it had multiplied past my boundaries.

I wanted to take her into my arms at that moment. I was so, so glad that she had given me a second chance. A chance to prove myself and my love for her.

I moved forward, ready to hold her in my arms. I knew it was too forward to think about, but at this moment, I hadn't cared any less. Exhilaration and joy filled me like a drug, taking over mo from within.
