"I see..." Alpha Carson didn't say much during the entire explanation except to ask a few questions, but now, that we reached the end of Damon's speech, he seems lost for words entirely.

"I thought the Moon Goddess didn't want us to tell the entire truth to anyone." I whisper to Damon as we wait for the Alpha to collect himself.

"The Moon Goddess can go suck a dick!" He lets out a small growl, enough to know he's pissed, but not enough to attract the Alpha's attention. Nala growls too, in response to the venom in his voice.

"What happened?"

"I managed to comnune with her before coming here. And at this point, she just pisses me off. She could have stopped this a long time ago. She had the power to. She can also just appear to all the Alphas in their dreams and tell them to just fight. No need for all this drama, for all the people I lost fighting a war that she could have prevented. And when I asked, she said the eternal bullshit of I gave all my children free will, I can not interven
