I was welcomed by the two princes, Frontier Sylvestre and Caspian Sylvestre. They were eating silently when I entered the dining hall, it looks like they doesn't really give any interest to their surroundings.
I silently sat down on the dining chair beside Caspian. I tried not to make a noise when I started lifting my spoon and knife to slice the steak.
"How old are you?"
I paused when I heard Frontier's question. I looked at him and realized that he was looking at me, is he asking me about my age?
"I'm twelve your Highness," I answered.
His lips parted before giving me a slight smile. "I'm thirteen, Caspian is the same but I'm two months older than him. Do you like horse riding?" he asked.
I shook my head before eating the spoon of sliced steak and broccoli. In the past, I always love riding horses especially when my father is present, but it's different now.
If I'm going to ride a horse, I will bring a crossbow and shoot all of those people that caused our death in the past.
"That's too bad, Caspian and I loved riding horses."
Of course, you love it very much. Since both of you died while riding a horse in the past. You were chased by those flying arrows until you died together with your horse. Caspian even died before you, his horse slipped on the cliff together with Caspian.
How I wish I could tell him everything about his death, but I can't because he might think of me as a crazy woman with a stupid head.
I resumed eating what's left on my plate before I reached the clean napkin and wiped my mouth.
"Don't you want to play with us?" Frontier asked.
I gave him a bored look before I let out a smile. "No it's fine, I'm really a busy person at this age. I am contented with having a meal with the two of you," I said denying his offer.
I saw him pouting before avoiding my eyes. I don't exactly remember when and where was the last time I've talked with them but I can only remember that I never had the chance to play with them, I was too busy chasing that disgusting man.
I stand up and left the dining hall. I shouldn't bother myself getting close to them since they have nothing to do with my revenge, it's exactly the same as the past.
They were just unlucky to have the surname of Sylvestre. They were innocent but it's not a safe ticket for them to avoid their death, Hades doesn't see his siblings as his own brothers.
That's how cruel he was, he enjoyed all the power and money of the Sylvestre alone.
I am wearing a royal blue embroidery dress with my kate-feather-hat on the top of my long platinum hair.
I am riding on the Imperial carriage together with Fara. We are going in Viadel, the last place where Arthur was last seen.
I know that it's already too long, the history was even forgotten but I have the feeling that maybe something or someone might know about him.
When the carriage stopped, I turned my eyes on the outside of the window and I saw unfamiliar people walking pass on our carriage.
I should say that I am a little bit ignorant when it comes to the outside of the Palace, since I never had the chance to roam around the outside of the Palace in the past.
"Your Highness," the knight called giving me his hand. I gave him a thankful smile before accepting his hand, stepping out from the carriage.
"Sir Ocea, Fara and I will have some business to take care so I need you to stay here and guard the carriage okay?" I said.
He was hesitant at first but when his eyes moved on Fara's direction, he suddenly nodded and bowed.
"I'll be waiting here your Highness."
My eyes were roaming around the whole place, the unfamiliar place is quite bigger than the central capital. It seems like this is what they call a city, I'm not sure but it's quite close to that.
"We're here your Highness,"Fara said and led me inside the building where mercenaries lives.
The loud storm of laugh from the unfamiliar people welcomed me. They've got big muscles and too much appearance of an adult men.
My eyes roamed around until their eyes were all gazing in my direction. Before I could open my mouth, I found myself being caged at the back of Fara.
Fara was holding a long sharp dagger while preparing to attack, I moved my eyes on them and I saw their eyes glaring at me, holding their flanges, swords, and their crossbows as if they were planning to kill me.
"What would be the reason for a royalty to visit us?" I saw an old man suddenly entered from the front door, he was a bit of a weird old man because he was licking his cigarette.
"You got a problem with me young lady?" he asked before throwing out the cigarette and sat on the vacant chair.
"I'm sorry to disturb your business but I have something to ask—"
"What are you saying? I got no interest in royalties." He cut my words off, circulating the dagger on his fingers.
"I'm sorry, I'm no harm." I tried making my tone as calm as the breeze of wind but he was rather a stone. He can't be lifted just by a simple blow from a wind.
"Get out young Lady before I change my mind and kill you right here," he warned.
"I need to find someone—"
I stopped when the dagger flew in my direction, I felt the pain on my left cheek. I was sure that he intended to threaten me with throwing that dagger on me.
The blood dripped from my left cheek while I remained calm, this is nothing. I've experienced so much pain than this, it's much more brutal than a flying dagger.
Fara turned her head on me and I saw her expression darkened, she was about to attack when I stopped her.
The old man seems confused, he was looking at me, straight to my cheeks where the blood is dripping.
"I don't have enough time to play a stupid game with you old man, I am here because I need to find someone. I heard that you're accepting any job just for money?" I gripped Fara's arms as hard as I can to stop her from attacking.
I stared longer before he burst a laugh. "I'm impressed, such a child like you didn't even cry because of pain. My dagger is a poisonous one, it might only take five minutes before the poison will spread inside your body."
I remained calm not giving a slight of reaction of what he said. Fara was groaning trying to get away from my grip, I know she's angry but she must remain calm since I know that this old man knows something.
"Arthur," I uttered making his eyebrows furrowed, his mocking smile disappeared as if he heard something serious.
"Arthur Paradis, I need to know about him. I'll pay any price," I said before throwing the bag of gold on the table.
"Where did you get that name?" he asked.
I threw the second bag of Gold. "Give me his information and tell me what happened to him 326 years ago."
I can already see his forehead fuming, does he actually not realize that I know something?
"I don't know anything—"
I threw six bags of gold on the table making him stopped from talking. Money, that's all they need so I'm giving them a price in exchange of giving me the information I want.
"Two minutes already passed, the poison will spread inside my body after five minutes am I right? I don't have the time to play with your mystery tricks old man, I'm not that easy to fool. I know you know something so tell me, how much will it cost for you to give me Arthur's information?" I gave him a long cold stare.
"I don't know what you're talking about young Lady," he answered avoiding his eyes from my direction.
"Why would Emperor Paradis sent his son in costal valley to train?" I asked confidently.
I can already feel the pain from my left cheek, this is getting bad. I need the information before the poison will spread.
"I...am going to end the Sylvestre," I said making him looked back in my direction.
"How can a child do that?" he asked with doubt in his eyes.
"You can doubt me, but not with this." I threw the chest on the table before the key. He opened it and took the folded paper, I can already see his reaction when he read the will.
His hands were trembling, I know it might be difficult but it was all written inside the will.
"How...how is this even possible?" he whispered enough for me to hear it.
"I've got only one request, I want to know what happened to Arthur after Emperor Paradis was murdered."
He put back the will inside the chest before closing it.
"Arthur is—"
"Where's my cheese?"
I stunned hearing the familiar voice, that tiny voice of a child. I raised my head on the top of the stairs and I felt how my mind went blank.
I shuddered with horror while gripping my chest when his eyes found mine, I realized that it was him.
The man I loathed the most, the man who betrayed me.
"Trevor..."
I heard the loud noise from the outside realizing that father was already back from his trip. I immediately ran outside while holding the book I was reading and eventually saw my father entering with a child beside him. My eyebrows furrowed. "Father, who's that?" I asked trying to hide my irritation. His eyes found mine before he started to whimper like a puppy, what the hell? "He's going to be your brother," he answered before he carried the child on his arms. It's not like the child can't walk so why would father carry him. I scoffed before rolling my eyes. I can't believe it, that child? As my brother? It triggers me to pull his body away from my father's arm, I don't like him. "Honey, you're back." Mother went down from the stairs and stopped when her eyes found the child on father's arms. "He's Trevor honey, he's going to be our son." "Wait, Trejhan you didn't told me
We arrived at the Palace by the help of sir Ocea. He said that Hades receive the notice of my absence in the palace and thought that I was at the D'aureville manor.Fara was carrying Trevor on her arms, she insisted on carrying him since Trevor fell asleep when we were on the carriage."Thank your Sir Ocea," I said with a smile on my face.He seems to be in daze, I tried waving my hand in front of his face to wake him up.His eyes blinked for a moment before he bowed with panic. "It's a pleasure to serve you, your Highness."It appears that he needs a better rest since he's about to lose his energy.Fara was following my steps when we reached the entrance door of the Emerald Palace where I am staying. It's the palace that was given to me by Hades himself, a Palace for Princesses.I was about to open the door when suddenly Fara pulled me at the back of the wall near the pine trees.I hissed when I s
"What is that?" I stopped from writing when Fara entered, carrying a white box."It's an invitation for you your Highness," she answered and put the box on the table.I lowered my pen on the table before opening the box with dozen of invitation cards.I got to see myself feeling irritated because of the envelopes I am seeing right now.I checked the invitation cards one by one and realized that they are from different noble ladies. Those little girls only knows how to specialize their teacups and desserts on the table, I don't think I can learn anything from them.I finished checking the invitation cards and let out a sigh when I found nothing that caught my interest."Burn it all," I ordered.Fara removed the box together with the cards from my table before leaving my room.I stretched my arms before massaging my temple to ease my headache, I've been writing some important thin
I have to say that I quite regret what I did in Seleste's banquet. Since the day after that, another dozens of invitation cards arrived with notice that they actually heard what happened.I'm having a headache because of these cards I'm seeing, it would be really hard to deny their invitations since they already heard about me, attending the banquet of Seleste."Fara, have you heard about Hades?" I asked curiously."No your Highness," she answered.I barely have enough sleep and now I'm having a hard time seeing Hades in the palace. I was about to ask about these invitations to stop the palace from accepting. How can I even meet all of them? All of the invitations are all about tea parties, I don't know if I can even socialize with those little girls.I bit my lower lip before I slapped my forehead, this is too much of a headache."How about hosting a banquet your Highness?"I stopped a
"Master!" Trevor embraced my waist when I entered the room where he is staying. It looks like he's having a comfortable time with Fara since I haven't heard any bad reports coming from Fara's mouth. "I missed you master," he whispered. I just stood up and didn't respond. It was a busy day and I needed him to train, he needs to have physical knowledge about swords. "We're going somewhere Trevor," I said. He remained hugging my waist. "Where?" he asked. I tried to pull his arms circling around my waist but he was reluctant to let go. I took a deep breath and sigh. "It's a secret Trevor so let go of me and follow me," I answered. He was sulking when he let go from hugging my waist. I just shrugged off my thoughts and left the room together with him. We arrived at the backyard of the Emerald Palace seeing Fara and sir Ocea on their sparring uniform.
I was always sitting at the edge of the dining chair far from him as if I am stranger to him. He always say that he loves me that's why I pretend... He always promised that he won't leave me that's why I forget... He always promised that I will stand beside him that's why I trust... Everything I did was all because I love him. I created a large effort, I collect numerous of supports, and in exchange of that is losing my humanity. I kill to have better results, I made them beg on their knees because I know I'm powerful. I lost every emotions because I thought that love alone is fine. The most painful thing that happened to me was betrayal. "Talia we can still talk about this, please trust me. My brother doesn't love you, he's only using you!" "Shut up!" No matter what they say, no matter what they tell me that Hades doesn't love me, I won't believe it.
I can see myself roaming around the hall trying to find Pursues, I've been curious as to what did he felt when I was gone that long."Your Highness."My eyes stopped on the man standing beside me, he looks a bit older than my father. Who is he?"You might be curious about who I am," he said after giving me a glass of juice. He sipped his wine on his wine glass before looking at me with his playful smile. What the heck is his problem?"I am Duke Richmond your Highness," he said before giving me his hand.I looked at his hand before going back to his face who was still smiling. "Do you know the best music to play in an orchestra?" I asked. He lowered his hand before he answered."I don't know your Highness."I remained unfazed as my eyes landed on the orchestra playing the music that wasn't familiar to me."Vergene Bella," I answered.I glanced at t
10 years later... Judith Slaying Holofernes is a painting by the Italian early Baroque artist Artemisia Gentileschi, the canvas shows Judith beheading Holofernes. The painting shows the moment when Judith, helped by her maidservant Abra, beheads the general after he has fallen asleep in a drunken stupor. I wouldn't like to do such kind of act since I like playing the victim as if I am beheaded. It already happened in the past, on the guillotine, my head was offered. Judith, who uses her beauty and charm to destroy an Assyrian general and save Israel from oppression. Thinking about it, seduction was her best way of taking revenge to that asshole. "Your Highness." I slightly turn my head on my back seeing Duke Richmond walking closely towards my direction. "I see, you've quite taken a like with that painting your Highness," he said while looking at the wall sized painting.

I took a deep breath before getting the pen and the paper on my bag. I opened the 13th page and started writing.“Spring has come but I feel like Iʼm a naked body standing outside the winter. Shivering and being devoured by the cold. All those days of plague and pain has overwhelmed me and turned my life into mayhem. Little by little I am swallowed by the devastating world and hollowed by afflictions and self-doubt.Those floral days are over, paradise fled away and transmigrated into a dire world filled with pure melancholy.”Upon writing those words I crumpled the paper and throwed it. I dropped my pen for I donʼt know what to write anymore. When I turn my gaze outside the window, the sunset was creating a light to the path of freedom.I smiled with warmth painted on my face. As I started to write another letter for the next 14th page.Dear Unknown,
The sky wears a mix color of black and gray. I cast about some luscious voice but heard the whisper of the cold wind that will likely bring downpour and thunder.Later I witnessed the cloudburst of little white flowers so as all the grievance and mourning that spreads sorrow to the entire atmosphere.I literally donʼt understand the unforseen happenings but wished for all of them to quit whining. Seconds had passed, I saw myself somewhere deep in a cold stratum. I didnʼt realize that darkness offered tranquility in this overwhelming situation. It goes like this all the time, I miss everything that I had back then such as the chirping of the little birds that creates a soothing melody. Ocean waves rage and banged through the sea rocks. Itʼs been too long since Iʼve seen the dawn so as the sun that peeks through the mountain and greets a good morning. I havenʼt seen the stars and the moon and couldnʼt grasp a chance to acquaint them all my lamentations and
Third Person's pov.Her mind must be a grave of unsaid thoughts and those unspoken that are fettered with tribulation. Talia's pov.Mind of mine was in its peaceful state, caught up with the silence of the whole room. Lately, I've been grasping the scent of old books I've always read in the past. I missed the old times, the scent of books and painted calligraphy so as discerning the dust particles in the air from the old bookshelves. While I am sipping the tea from my teacup, I was reminiscing the old good times when I was still at my teenage years. I was the lady who chose to stay silent and lived a life without getting involved into any tensions."Rumors that the nobles failed to pass their request about abolishing your crown. That's why the Sylvestrian people are creating a ruckus outside the Imperial Palace to surrender the imperial seal," Declan said.I hummed and put the teacup on the table. "I guess they aren't good enough," I mumbled.A servant suddenly arrived while holding a tray of glass of water and a medicine. "Greetings,
Third person's pov.The clock hits midnight and its sound was echoing throughout the tranquility of the night. The storm was on a rage outside while the nobles and governed officials were silently aligned inside the inner court of the Imperial Palace. They commence a meeting in order for them to propose their assumptions and as usual, they are taking advantage of the Crown Princess's rumored critical condition."Allow us to speak for our nation, your Majesty."Despite the ruckus inside the Imperial Palace, the Emperor was able to attend the meeting. It is their chance to abolish the Crown Princess from her position.Hades on the other hand was taking his nap on his palm while observing them."You may speak," the Emperor said.Duke Seleste was the first in line as the representative of the nobles's table. He stepped forward, hands on the filthy ground and bended his knees resembling that he is

Arcaine already left while Trevor remained. We stayed silent for a couple of minutes, or maybe, nobody wants to talk. I wanted to ask him about what happened to him when I was gone, but I couldn't open my mouth. I was reluctant to ask, nor give him a look without hesitation. He seems not to bother with the cold...winter is already coming. "It's unfair..." I glanced at him and our eyes suddenly met. Tears were on his eyes while wearing a smile on his lips. "Why do you always hurt me?" he asked. "What am I supposed to do in order for you to not hurt me?" "I wish for your happiness more than anyone else," he whispered. My mind went blank and I found myself giving him a cold look. Did something happened while I was gone? Or maybe...something changed. "Everyone have been trying to kill you ever since you became the Crown Princess. I told myself that you'll be fine and nothing will ha
"How is everything?" I asked. He stumbled upon answering my question. "I told you, everything is going according to your plan. The only problem is that boy...Trevor.""He's a man," I hissed and rest my chin on my palm. "What about him?" I asked."There's something wrong about him. Not only the color of his soul, but his actions are too repulsive. He's crazy over you," he said.I chuckled while looking straight to the pen I am fidgeting on my fingers. "Why? Did he kill some knights while trying to find me?"His eyebrows furrowed before he shook his head. He took the vacant chair and placed it in front of me. He sat on the chair and crossed his legs, manly."I've never seen a soul like yours and him. It's difficult to explain in words, but I can say that it's filled with darkness. However, there is a difference between yours and him."He place the empty glass on the table. "That glass is you, your soul is l
