Chapter 74 Move On

STATEN LAND :

“Ignoring the food, or hiding in your room like this won’t make you feel better, Emma…”

Emma was lying with her face covered fully when she heard the cold familiar voice and gave her back to the person in annoyance.

Henry sighed at her childish behavior, it’s been three days since they returned from Spain, but Emma seemed to be stuck in her past completely.

Surprisingly, this time, it didn’t make him angry but worried for Emma.

Henry pulled down her blanket and forced her to look at him while holding her arms and pulling her gently into his arms.

When Emma’s head leaned on his chest, he realized that she had been crying silently.

He looked down sensing the wetness on his shirt and soon Emma’s sniffing sound came confirming it.

“I told you, he has forgotten you, Emma…” Henry wanted to comfort her, but he couldn’t find the right words.

Unknowingly, he said the words which hurt Emma the most.

Her fingers clutched his shirt tightly and she continued sobbing.
